They sell 1/4 empty acetylene tanks as full
I purchased a new tank for acetylene, And got it filled. Upon taking it home and weighing it it was a quarter short of how much acetylene should have been in there. I contacted the company they did not seem to care. I filed a complaint with better business bureau they gave me a BS response saying they would contact me in 2 days, they did not. This is a warning for anybody purchasing acetylene or any gas from tractor supply, they will definitely be shorting you, you should weigh your tank, and probably just go elsewhere. This is a deceitful company and this is their acceptable business practice. They don't care about customers they only care about money.

Purchased a trailer through Tractor supply on July 16. The manager and employees assisting had no idea what they were doing with this type of purchase. They absolutely failed to register the trailer properly putting one county down on the registration and then filing the registration with a second county. After multiple trips to both county DMV’s and multiple phone calls and visits to the store it appears to finally be getting resolved. Called their “customer service”. Line for corporate and that was a complete joke. Guy literally told me “well it is a store issue, you will have to resolve it at the store”. Why would I call an outside customer service representative that I literally explained how many times I have contacted the store if it could easily be resolved at the store. Absolutely ridiculous

If I was able I would leave no stars at all and I suggest everyone read my blog on Sunday's newspaper about this horrific store and the way they treat their customers. I've been going there for nearly 3 years and they hired one of the Hop Heads from my neighborhood. I've had multiple people put in jail and I've had multiple people moved from their properties because they were dealing drugs smoking dope and causing serious damage to me and my home tractor plus hired one of these people and after 3 years of kindness respect and spending all my money in that store it took all of 30 seconds for some young piece of crap little girl who lives in my neighborhood and I can't say her name until we go to court and the manager that lives in my neighborhood that knows how I've shut down drug deals drug homes put several police in prison for dealing drugs and I put about five people out of this neighborhood and the people that they just hired knew who I was and hated me and for absolutely no reason attacked me came after me I am a 61 year old woman blind in one eye with leukemia been shopping at that store for 3 years Ms Tina will tell you I pray for people I am kind I have never done one thing wrong in that store except a bunch of hotheads from my neighborhood got hired over there and made it a point to have me trespassed I'm looking for anybody and everybody who's got something to say about the store I write for the Sunday paper and what I got to say I hope takes all their customers away sincerely Bonnie Johnson
TSC is a Joke.
Since Tractor Supply acquired Orschelen's, Ottawa Ks is without a farm and home store. TSC is basically a wannabe hardware and pet supply store. Their assortment of farm and ag supplies, equipment and parts is laughable. Just another example of a Big Box destroying a competing retailer and depriving a community of the goods that it actually needs.
Punishing me for their mistake
Unfortunately the dog wash station was out of commission for several weeks. I was a regular customer, enough to be awarded a free bath. As I waited for an excessively long time, once opened, I took my dog to get a bath. I had been waiting for the repairs, so I could use my free bath reward. When I drove all the way there, I was told that my free bath had expired! Expired!! I have been waiting weeks and weeks for your bath station to be repaired and now you’re punishing me because of Tractor Supply’s inability to repair the bath in a timely manner???? Yeah I won’t be back. Even though it was just a free dog bath, not taking care of your customers, especially regulars, showed me their lack of class and professionalism. I wouldn’t waste a dime there. Absolutely ridiculous customer satisfaction!!
"Megan" Tractor Supply, Yreka, Ca
"Megan", staff observed me outside from her cashier work station on August 12 and walked outside offering her help. I was looking at large bags of soil mixed with products.Megan was very helpful with her advice and experience but unfortunately her co-worker seemed to feel Megan was goofing off possibly with just a friend and chastised her. Please note managers: Megan was closing a sell of $70. If on my own, I would have walked out with a $3.47 bag.
Liars …
I thought my neighbor closed account was deleted after I closed it in February . Today I found out that the account was never closed and was given a bunch of excuses. Their app says allow ten days for it to be deleted but five months later it has not been deleted. The personal at the company are rude and I don’t trust a word they say!

Website is VERY slow, glitchy and just too difficult to order.
I love TSC and their pickup system, but their website is horrible. It's extremely slow and the (website is unresponsive..wait or exit) pops up constantly. Usually I just let it run a while and place orders when check back, but today I gave up after trying to place an order for ONE item and went to Chewy. Done is 20 seconds. PLEASE fix your horrible website cause I love your store.

We placed an order online , and the order was cancelled. We were directed to call the 877-718-6750. We called the number and held for 15 minutes and then left our phone number for a return call, and after one hour of no call. We called the store in Albemarle. Where Brandy was extremely helpful.. she called the customer service number and held for 25 minutes on the phone and then they hung up. Then she called the helpdesk and spoke with a gentleman who said he would put in an IT ticket. In the meantime Randy said she would be able to honor the item at her store on the following Monday with the online sale price really appreciate all her hard work great customer service. ! Thank you, Brandy!
Tractor Supply overpricing its products
Tractor Supply is raising prices of consumer and wildlife sensitive items such as sunflower seed hearts at an obscene rate. Pre-Covid, a 35 lbs. bag of sunflower hearts was just around $40.00. During Covid the prices spiked at around $60.00. Today, they jumped the price up to $94.95 for a domestically grown product of SUNFLOWER SEEDS. This is an item purchased by many people on fixed incomes such as seniors and the elderly whose hobby is to feed backyard friends/wildlife. Over time, TS, has proven that it takes advantage of its customers by raising prices to unjustifiable amounts . Disgusting behavior.

Horrible website.... it puts you in a loop, so you can't sign up to order online. What a pain; I can't use their website to order my chicken's fave layer crumbled. I will have to order it on Amazon

ARCHAIC RETURN POLICY / NOT CONSUMER FRIENDLY
The return policy at these stores is Archaic to say the least. They simply dont want their product back. For this reason, I hesitate to shop there. I much prefer to spend my dollars at home depot, walmart or amazon where the return policy is consumer friendly and welcoming.
Delivery program is awful
The employees at our local store are great but dont get product delivered to you. My order came from several stores and had product missing. Will never do delivery again!
The employees in Holbrook are very caring and helpful. Every time I go for our monthly supply of cat food they remember my face and immediately assist me with what I need. I love it.
I loved their customer service the employees provided. Very kind, and helpful. What I don’t like are the prices. Here in Northern Arizona it’s hard to afford things in the more rural town like Holbrook.
After being a customer for over a year…
After being a customer for over a year and holding a TSC credit card I received a notice today that after a review of my account that my credit line was lowered from $2500 to $450.
I have never been late on any payment and 90% of the time I pay my balance off before the payment is due.I sent a letter back with their credit card shredded and enclosed with the letter.I take it that the people that pay their balance on time get crapped on just like the customers that do not pay.I will no longer shop at tractor supply and I will be sharing my experience that I have had with TSC after being a loyal customer with anyone who asks my opinion about TSC.I will shop at the local mom and pop farm supply stores from now on.TSC you take that credit card and shove it where the sun dont shine!
