TransferMate Avis 470

I usted Transfermate to get my money transferred to a frozen account in Germany. I was asking for a visa permit. For personal reason I withdrew my visa and ask for my money back. At the end of the day Tranfermate got my refund but subtracted 500 USD from my total amount (7% less money than my original amount). I issued a complain and the answer to me was just "It's the exchange rate", which they did not provide any evidence whatsoever since even with the highest change rate the loss would have definitely not been 500 USD.

I signed up with TransferMate Education to help facilitate my payments for my blocked bank account with Fintiba. Due to a delay in receiving my transfer, I was feeling rather nervous as I needed my blocking confirmation for my visa appointment.

Each time I called their number, I got one of their customer service agents, Marie, on the line. From the first call, she has been incredibly helpful, reassuring, and most importantly very empathetic. She guided me into taking the necessary steps to make sure the process goes more quickly and smoothly. She also called me the second that the payment finally went through to update me with the good news. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Thank you Marie for your wonderful work!

Transfermate is offering only credit card as the method of cash deposit in a country where credit cards are barely used rather than figure out a way to enable easy direct debit from local accounts. I don't know if they didn't do a market survey before offering their services in Nigeria.

Simple way to pay overseas suppliers!

The ONLY thing that still confuses us, is that, even though we have a linked Bank Account, we still have to EFT funds across to Transfermate locally to settle the bill???? WHY do we need a linked bank account then???

I was hoping that on making a payment, our bank account is simply debited with the amount due!!!
