The service was great for me and the customer service people responded to my queries promptly and reassured me. The only thing I would say is to show the status of transfers appropriately and ask for feedback after the funds have reached the destination.

After some confusion caused by my American bank, happy to report that TransferMate earned my confidence with a personal call.

Having previously dealt with Transfermate successfully every month for many years every thing changed in July 2022.
From that time I started to be charged an extra US$45-25 on every single Business transcation I made (in addition to unavoidable recieving bank charges) costing me up to an extra US$300+ per month!!
Transfermate blamed this change at first on intermediate banks in the US and said they were working hard to fix the problem.
10 months latter its still not "fixed"
After sending many many emails taking up much of my time I started to get some of the extra charges back after about 2 months.
But now Transfermate are refusing to do even this.
Awful customer service and my guess these charges are new ones introduced by them - nothing to to with intermediate US banks??
I've now moved to Caxton FX , far better rates, no charges, more customer friendly account web site and a easy get hold of Account managers.

TransferMate is a discriminating transfer company. I am not able to pay for my hall of residence only because of my residency not being in their list. My country is a recognised State with millions of citizens (Ukraine), so I have never faced any issues regarding international payments even during full-scale invasion. However, TrasferMate started just lying that some (unknown) regulation do not allow them receiving funds from Ukrainian residents. Just understand, not funds from Ukrainian bank accounts, but from Ukrainian residents. I am currently live in the UK for 6 months, I have British bank account, but I still can’t pay simply because of my residency. How does it work? Why all global transfer organisations do not prohibit Ukrainian to pay? Why does only TransferMate has some mysterious regulations without names and dates? Why does not TransferMate say nothing about it? What is the “department” that will check my adresses for last three months? Why there is no information about this “department”? Why cannot they explain how to reach it? Overall, dear TransferMate, sorry that I can’t swap my nationality in few months and good luck in continuing lying about some unknown regulations.
It provides choices of credit cards for payment, then a pop up indicates you MUST use your bank account. It does ask for confidential information Social Security #! Nobody answers the phone and nobody gets back to you. 3 days now.
Wasnt able to receive my refund for tuition fee transaction since early December! And now its almost February. No decent explanations, just clarification is ongoing email all the time. Honestly feel like being scammed. Devastating experience!
Ridiculous onboarding experience. First, you upload every confidential document to their website. Then a random customer rep reaches out asking you to send the same set of confidential documents OVER UNSECURE E-MAIL! Then another customer rep asks exactly the same questions and docs again and again and again. Quickly you find yourself in an ONBOARDING HELL.
THEIR ONBOARDING EXPERIENCE IS THE WORST! I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY UNLESS THEY FIX THIS CRAP.

I was transferring my funds from UAE to Ireland, Ms. Linda Mooney made it easier from beginning. She was very helpful in moving the process stagewise and always in contact over the phone to complete the transaction.
It is a good company for transfers, they offer many currencies and you can book it on their platform live, so it is quick and easy. I recommend it.

I had to use Transfermate for an international study payment. Everything went wel. Until i've noticed the payment never reached the final destination. When i logged on to my Transfermate account, it told me that i had to upload some documents which i later did. After a loongg time where the payment still hasn't reached the final destination. I logged in again, it said that the payment was inactive. I've contacted the customer service quitte alot and tbh i find it useless. I've never received my money back. Be careful doing your transfers!
