Because of this, fares can and do change very quickly—sometimes within minutes—across all travel agencies and booking platforms.

You mentioned that Travcart consistently appeared cheaper over a period of time. While we understand why this may raise concerns, metasearch platforms refresh and display fares at different intervals, and a price shown during search may not always reflect the latest live availability at the time of booking. During the checkout process, Travcart performs a fresh real-time validation directly with the airline or authorized consolidator to ensure the fare is still available before any ticket can be issued.

Regarding the price change at the payment stage, Travcart’s system is specifically designed to protect customers. Before any payment is completed, a final live verification is performed with the airline or consolidator. If the fare has expired, sold out, or been updated by the airline, the system automatically stops the transaction and does not allow the charge to go through at the outdated price.

While this may appear as though the booking process is being interrupted, it is actually a safeguard. It ensures that customers are not charged for fares that can no longer be confirmed or ticketed. Instead of taking payment first and later processing adjustments or refunds, Travcart prevents the transaction from completing in order to avoid unnecessary charges and inconvenience to customers.

Unfortunately, in some cases—particularly when booking close to departure—airlines may reject, cancel, or fail to confirm reservations due to inventory changes, fare discrepancies, or operational restrictions.

We understand your concern regarding the absence of a PNR or e-ticket number. A reservation is only considered ticketed once the airline successfully confirms and issues the ticket. In circumstances where the airline is unable to complete that process, the booking cannot proceed, and a refund must be initiated. While we appreciate that this was extremely disappointing, TravCart did not intentionally withhold a ticket or boarding pass, nor did we benefit from the cancellation of your reservation.
