Excellent Customer Service

The team were friendly, polite, helpful and informative. From the first approach through to the engineer fitting the equipment, everything was explained clearly and carried out efficiently. I'm not good with modern technology and I particularly valued the clear explanations about how the system works and how to use the ap.

Clear information given, Great service.

Shane came out on the Tuesday and explained clearly, how the battery system works and how it would be a separate installation to my existing solar panels.
He then gave me a price that seemed reasonable and included some money from Government funding that would act as my deposit.
The guys came to install it on the Friday.
There were some issues with my electric tripping when the system switched from the battery to the grid and I called them on the following Tuesday and they sent someone over today (thursday) , and he made adjustments to the breakers on the fuseboard, which has hopefully resolved the issue.
I liked that they took the time and patience to explain everything to me, and I liked that they responded in a timely manner to my issue.

Not trusted

They promised to only ask for payment when work was completed then asked for a deposit to cover the cost of the battery before the work was completed ( which I paid) then on completion of the work sent an invoice to my husband for the full amount without deducting the deposit which I had paid . My husband paid the full amount forgetting that I had already paid the deposit. They promised to refund us for the £2000 overpayment and even said they had refunded us but the money was not refunded for over a month until after I took out a dispute with the bank. Therefore I would not put my trust in this company.

they came fitted the insulation which made the loft into a shower room i asked the company to come out and put it right 3 times they said they would come out 3 times they did not turn up 3days wasted there work is rubbish i do not recommend this company to any one

Very poor customer service

We had batteries installed in July 2025 and bird guards should also have been fitted and solar panels cleaned. It took until October, numerous phone calls and letters before the scaffolding arrived and the job was completed. We are still waiting for the scaffolding to be removed. I have phoned almost every say since January 2nd and has 3 dates given for the scaffolding to be removed, but no one arrived.

Beware we have had a two very bad experience.s with them

Having signed up with them when our previous suport team went bust our experience has been bad. Last year the replacment of the solor edge units took months and on one ocassion the contractors did not know the extent of the work to do. As with the other contractors they were excellent and did all the work needed. It is the central organisation which is hopeless.
On 5th Jan I contacted them as our Solar Edge system had ceased to funtion after serveral follow ups we were due and engineeer last Thursday who failed to attend. Another appointment was made for today and again no one has come. We will be looking to terminate our contract.

When we took over support for your system following the collapse of your previous provider, we also assumed responsibility for the ongoing warranty. In cases involving SolarEdge equipment, warranty claims require formal diagnostics, reporting, and approval directly from SolarEdge, which unfortunately is not an overnight process. We are dependent on their procedures and response times, but we always work to progress claims as quickly as possible.

With regard to your recent system fault, the engineer appointment was scheduled for Friday, not Thursday. The engineer did attend site as planned, completed the necessary checks, and reported the identified faulty components back to our office. This information has been used to proceed with the required warranty claim with SolarEdge.

We understand how disruptive system downtime can be and appreciate your patience while these matters are addressed. Please be assured that we are actively working through the warranty process and will continue to do so until the issue is resolved.

I was surprised by a cold call

I was surprised by a cold call as I am on TPS.
Three individuals spoke to me about getting a grant: explained no means test, any one can get the grant.
In practice they are selling modifications to solar panel installations and any 'grant' is unclear. There were various surprising questions about age, living alone and so on which seemed unnecessary.
I cancelled a visit from their rep who could 'squeeze me in' next day.
The website looks OK but there are suspiciously enthusiastic 'reviews' both on their site and on trust pilot.
Everyone was polite and unaggressive but what they started with (grants) and were actually selling (systems) was very different.

Excellent Customer Service. Brady made my experience great

Brady made my experience great! I'd changed my electricity supplier and needed my storage batteries to charge on the cheap night time rate. There was a problem with the connection and the battery manufacturer that Brady and the service team took great efforts to make sure was sorted. The lovely and helpful lady is a fantastic representative for the company. Excellent customer service!

Service and Aftercare

What an excellent company, both on installation and aftercare service. We were unable to access the Lux info system. Neil came out and sorted it in no time, also resetting my phone. Five days ago we had a smart meter fitted to allow us to charge batteries on a cheaper rate during winter. Neil also found that the smart meter engineer had replaced the Lux sensor on the wrong lead and he corrected it. What a great guy.

This company uses agents to cold call…

This company uses agents to cold call on their behalf, attempting to arrange appointments under the premise of you “qualifying for funding”.

In reality there is no such funding, the company performing the calls states they are from “National Energy Department”, which is a pseudo attempt to sound like an independent government backed organisation.

All these guys do is cold call to set up appointments for trusted home solutions, once they enter your home you’ll be given a sky high price for low quality goods under the premise that you can receive a big discount by signing up there and then.

Spineless tactics from spineless companies, steer clear - particularly if you have vulnerable relatives being contacted.

Deposit taken but took a while to refund

I was quoted for loft insulation nearly seven months ago, and it seemed good so I paid a £100 deposit. Within a few days I cancelled the order expecting a refund straight away. It took a while coming but a full apology and explanation for that has been given and they have given a bonus with it.

Fantastic service

Fantastic service, ive had a 3.3kw growatt battery 1 year ago now with a maintenance & service plan for 10 years and i can say they met the expectation and actually done the work as planned. would recommend using this company to anyone !!!!!

Atrocious customer service.U had a…

Atrocious customer service.U had a battery plus inverter from them added to my existing solar set up.They said at the time my original inverter would probably fault soon.
So I should get a new one for that at the same time.I didn't but did get a battery plus separate inverter for that which they said it would need.It came with an app which worked for about a month before losing connection with the system.Dedpite trying to reconnect it myself following manufacturers video and numerous phone calls in attempt to get it working this has not been possible.On one occasion they had an engineer stay on th phone and go through the steps with me whereupon he said I most likely need a new dongle (which came with the inverter).He said I would ha e to arrange an appointment with the office to have someone being a replacement.We did that which took several more calls what's apps etc. And an appointment was booked.
In the meantime I got a call saying it was time for our yearly free check up.Icsaud we had an engineer booked as it happens for about a week later and they said that's ok we will get the engineer who is checking the system to come and look ar it fir you.
Said engineer looked at te system pronounced my old inverter was malfunctioning and needed replacing cost £2000!
I said no thank you but could he check the app.He said no it's not going to work because my old inverter is faulty and they dont connect with the app.(which I knew).
As I wasn't going to buy a replacement inverter for my old one in the loft He left quick smartish with his tail between his legs but did nothing to solve the app problem.(He did say he didn't have a dongle did not even try to reconnect to my existing one and said would get the
office to send one.)
Guess what.No visit of second engineer although it was scheduled and I asked via a what's app for confirmation which I never got.the guy just didnt turn up.
I AM LEFT WITHOUT A FULLY FUNCTIONAL SYSTEM.Inthink they are scammers just trying to sell as much kit as at as high a price as they can get away with and not paying any attention when things dont work.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
