Working with Tutorial Consulting as an instructor is a great experience. The materials for the PMP Exam Preparation class are well thought out and flow well. The company is very supportive of instructors, providing assistance whenever needed.

Rosemary Wright is a great instructor. Highly organized and plenty of real-world examples to help explain difficult concepts and questions. I would recommend her for anyone looking to take this course!!!!!

It has been a pleasure to work with Tutorial Consulting. As a PMP Instructor I was provided with the necessary tools and background information for me to be successful with my various training groups.

The material is well sequenced and thoughtout however there's enough room to also share real life examples and experiences as well. I look forward to working with them again in the future.

I've worked with several other firms who provide instruction for preparing to take AND pass the PMP exam. TC's materials are superior to others I've worked with, and it's very up to date as PMI is moving to PMBOK 7 and the tests in 2023 will be based on it. While all students received 7, they also received 6 and the training slides were quite current.
Each of the 4 days of training modules had their own practice tests. Students I've polled were quite happy with TC, the materials, and yes, also the trainer.
The training materials are foundational to success in gaining the PMP designation; but it also depends on the trainer, who should augment the classes based on their expertise and experience in PM and as a trainer. Most importantly is the student! Post class sessions, it's important to seek:
Other PM prep books such as Rita Mulcahy's, etc; Also creating or joining a study group;
And understanding the formulas used in PM such as EV and calculating it.

Working with Tutorial Consulting as a trainer was a very pleasant experience. I was kept informed in a timely matter on the expectations of the training for my one student. This allowed me to sufficiently plan to prepare an in-depth encounter with the course content and customize it to his needs for his present role at his firm. The support team answered my questions to my satisfaction. The venue was outstanding. TC's professionalism is above par and I would be happy to work with them again.

The facilitator did a great job presenting the material. Great use of technology with very little issues. He was very knowledgeable and provided real life examples to the topic. Would highly recommend if you are looking to sit for the PMP Test! Thank you!

Despite the trainer had a death in his family the first night after our training with only little of sleep, he proceed with the training successfully as scheduled. This shows his dedication in helping us to gain all the knowledge and prepare us for our LSSGB certification. I love how he will keep as alert and active as well as engaging in the training. This definitely help us to critically thinking and apply the tools that were taught to us during the class. I will recommend this others that are looking into obtaining this certification in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

According to the Project Management Institute (PMI), there are 10 project management certifications that will be sought after by employers in 2021 and beyond. The number one certification is the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

My personal experience preparing to sit for the PMP exam is that it takes over 95% preparation and that includes PMI's guideline of READING the PMBOK cover to cover --- twice! But sitting and reading the PMBOK (textbook) in isolation will not provide the context and texture that a formal class provides.

Make the Tutorial Consulting PMP class part of your full preparation to sit for the PMP exam.

Not worth the cost. It seems Tutorial Consulting's PMP training is highly dependent on your trainer. I first had Rodger for Jan 2021 class and myself along with my other classmates were not happy. Since this training is very costly and if you are paying with your own dime, I have provided a thorough review.
I had major concerns with Rodger:
1. There is no plan in the ‘curriculum’ that is taught by Rodger even though one is laid out on the main Eduficent website. I had this concern within the first 1.5 hrs of the class because there wasn’t even alignment with Rodger and John Mathews on what was given to all the students. Therefore, he couldn’t even tell us what material was in the Google Drive and what it would be used for.
2. Based on the website, I don’t believe we received all the material we were supposed to. There definitely needs to be explanation with what is provided as well.
3. I’m not sure what the intent of the class from Eduficent perspective is, but MY expectation of the class is it is meant to be a ‘bootcamp’ of sort. Of which, the teacher would present the basics thoroughly and cover the rest of the key topics as it relates to the test in a clear and concise way within the four day period. After the four days, the student should be 75%-85% ready for the test, with expectation of some self-practice and study involved.
4. Rodger did not stick to the slides provided and rather displayed the textbook while skim reading and pointing out key figures. This was neither engaging or good way to teach a large volume of material in short amount of time.
5. The way Rodger teaches the class is as if it’s a ‘refresher’ course and people have some familiarity or knowledge of the subject. He quickly scrolls through some slides and just the textbook itself. The class should be taught with the expectation that no one has any familiarity with the topic and begin with strong foundation of the basics.
6. Since there is no plan provided to students (what will be taught on what day), there is no way for students to prepare or know what topics are even covered on what day
**I regret not getting a refund altogether after experience with Rodger. I attended the next month's training with a different trainer, Michael, who was both engaging and well versed in PMP. But the course was not as comprehensive as it should be for hundreds of dollars (and more for some). Things missing from this course was explanation of ANY formulas, earned value (only the highest level of explanation), among other important material on the exam.
**After Rodger, I bought Udemy's "Pass the PMP on your First Attempt" course. This is a fraction of the cost is very comprehensive in the same timeframe as Tutorial Consulting's class. Of which I recommend as a good alternative.
