Uketa Avis 77

This is a scam. The top google search but when I realized that it didn't seem right they had already charged my credit card. If you search the address they give it is a digital marketing company in Casper Wyoming. I spoke to lady there who said 'UKETA' use a mail box system through them and she has had previous complaints about the way they operate.
i have not received any documentation, a receipt or a transaction ID email etc. So, when I do approach them to complain or ask for a refund I cant fill out there forms. Therefore I am stuck in limbo.
my next tactic is to make a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.

SCAM. I just paid almost 100 euros for the ETA. IT IS NOT THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE!!!

Ho pagato 97 sterline invece che le 16 previste. E' una truffa. Diffidate di questo sito. 81 sterline per le pratiche amministrative e' un furto. Sono stata ingannata dal fatto che il sito assomigli a quella ufficiale del governo UK.

E il primo sito che si presenta da google per pagare l'Eta di ingresso in Gran Bretagna, non evidenziano il costo complessivo di 144 $, per non offrire nessun servizio, nel mio caso non ho neanche ricevuto il visto ETA. Una truffa tollerata senza che nessuno intervenga

Well I must admit I hadn’t noticed that this wasn’t the official site, particularly the fact that they were charging £97. Once I realised, I contacted them to request a refund. They handled the situation very professionally, and I received my refund three days later.

Scam site!!! OMG it looks like an official UK site for applying for ETA. Shame on Google! they were listed at
the top of web search and so I clicked the link and uploaded all my personal information and paid the outrageous fee! I immediately started to wonder because no contact details were included in the confirmation email. I called my bank and blocked my card. I'm also disputing the charged because this is robbery online! I tried calling the number listed on the website but it doesn't work! SCAM SCAM SCAM!

Similar experience as others. Site is ranked #1 with google (sponsored) and look very much like an official website. Is however a crazy expensive 3P for filling an online form. This is somewhat outrageous the UK authorities are doing nothing to ensure such abusive websites obviously looking alike authority website still exists (I cannot even understand authority have not protected uketa as a name). One found a crazzy smart idea to make $millions while abusing travelers not yet used to the newly introduced UK ETA.

They almost got me, as they must pay a lot to be listed first on Google. Don't waste your time, they charge 95GBP when it costs 14GBP. The official UK app is just as easy.

Thankfully I realized in time and was able to get the charge reversed!

After canceling my ETA application and being told I’d receive a refund, I woke up to find another attempt had been made to charge my card for the same amount (which they completely denied despite of me sending a screenshot of the actual message). Thankfully, the charge didn’t go through because I had deactivated the card. This raises serious concerns about how this company handles sensitive personal and financial information.

To make matters worse, the website looks incredibly official same name and layout as the actual UK government app ("UKETA") which makes it easy to fall for. They charged me nearly triple the actual visa fee. It’s misleading by design, and many people won’t realize it until it’s too late.

Add to that the complete lack of customer support. No working phone number, no proper responses, and no real accountability. It honestly feels like a scam, and I’m genuinely worried others will fall into the same trap. This service needs urgent regulation, transparency, and consumer protection.

Avoid this company at all costs. Apply only through the official UK government site or app.

The page looks very official but it's a scam. They let you pay 80£ more for the same document that you get from the government page for 19£.

It's a scam. They pretend to be an official ETA website, but they're a travel agency charging 5 times the actual cost. Avoid!

They pay google to position themselves as an "ad" before the official website, as a result and if you are not looking well enough, many people use this middle-man on a process that is exactly the same as going through the official website but you pay 5 times more.

Do not fall for this. The official app from the government is quicker and costs only a fraction.

It is not a scam but it is crazy that this is possible. The website looks very much like it is institutional but, as a lot of people have mentioned, it is a middle-man, not the government website, and you will pay 5 x more than the normal price.
However they did apply for my visa and it is valid. I checked in the UK government website chat (as suggested by another reviewer, thanks!) and my ETA does exist and is valid for travel. That was a relief!!

Had an issue with them but they resolved it quickly and professionally.

UKETA is a scam-they look as if they are UK ETA providers as i says UK ETA but the Gov price is £16 where UKETA charge £97 for the same ETA
