Jellemzően Vecsés a fekete lyuk, nem egyszer kontinenseket átszelve itt a csomag 2-3 nap alatt és a UPS hazai feketelyukjába bekerülve nem egyszer 4-5 sőt volt 10 nap még megteszi azt a 15 km-t amilyen messze vagyunk tőlük.
Minősíthetetlen szolgáltatás, inkább a szolgáltatás teljes hiánya.

We had been expecting the shipment at all indicated delivery times; however, on each occasion, the courier recorded that we did not accept the package or refused delivery. This statement was not true.
The courier did not appear at the address at all. The delivery address was an office building with a reception desk, and we were specifically monitoring the arrival of the package. After each failed delivery attempt, we contacted customer service by phone to report that the courier’s statement was incorrect and requested that the package be returned. I also provided a phone number, but we were not contacted there either.
On Friday, we were promised that the matter would be investigated; however, no progress was made and the package was returned.
In our view, UPS failed to provide the service for which the sender had paid.
WORST service ever.

I was expecting a small package. They contacted me that it will be here last thursday. On thursday they emaild, that it will be not. Since i was not home from friday to monday, i asked to re-schedule.
On TUESDAY when i called first, they said it will be delivered by 4. At 4 i called, they said it will be delivered by 6. Before 6 i called and they told me THEY DONT HAVE THE PACKAGE, THEY DONT KNOW WHERE IS THE PACKAGE AND I SHALL CONTACT THE SENDER.
I contacted the sender, they provided me with all the paperwork that they sent out the package. UPS DOESNT KNOW ANYTHING about the package regardless.
If you don't have an alternative to UPS just take the package personnaly. They are the worst of the kind. A truly sh.t service, does't worth a cent.
The level of service is unacceptable
The level of service is unacceptable. Deliveries are consistently problematic, it is practically impossible to obtain clear information about the location of a package, and shipments never arrive on time. The customer service attitude is particularly concerning: when attempting to file a complaint, the call is simply disconnected.
For an international logistics company operating in 2026, this level of disorganization and disregard for customers is indefensible. I ask the company’s leadership to urgently investigate what is happening at the Hungarian branch and take the necessary steps to restore a basic standard of professionalism and customer respect.
If a company is unable to operate reliably and treat its customers properly, it should seriously reconsider its operations.
Az elmúlt időszakban sajnos rendkívül…
Az elmúlt időszakban sajnos rendkívül negatív tapasztalataim voltak a UPS Magyarországgal.
Két külön rendelésem is „eltűnt” a rendszerben, és nekem kellett folyamatosan érdeklődnöm, szinte könyörögnöm azért, hogy egyáltalán utánanézzenek a csomagoknak. Végül mindkettő meglett, azonban csak a meghatározott kiszállítási dátum után körülbelül két héttel kerültek kézbesítésre. Ez elfogadhatatlan, különösen akkor, ha valaki időre vár egy fontos küldeményt.
A jelenlegi problémám pedig az, hogy egy csomagot szeretnék visszaküldeni, azonban a UPS weboldalán található visszaküldési lehetőség egyszerűen nem működik. Emiatt két e-mailt is írtam az ügyfélszolgálatnak, de semmilyen választ nem kaptam. Teljesen elérhetetlenek, és úgy tűnik, nem hajlandóak segítséget nyújtani.
Egy nemzetközi futárcégtől ennél jóval magasabb szintű ügyintézést és megbízhatóságot várna az ember. A kommunikáció hiánya és a folyamatos problémák miatt rendkívül csalódott vagyok.
Remélem, a jövőben javulni fog a szolgáltatás színvonala.

Horrible, no communication with the drivers at all, they are clueless where your package is, they claim your item is lost, wether that is true or not is anyone's guess.. they should not do logistics in hungary at all, I had the worldwide saver service, which is above their standard shipping, and still felt overwhelmingly disappointed...

am extremely disappointed with UPS. My experience confirms what many others have reported: their claims process feels like a lost cause, designed more for PR than for actually helping customers. Despite a scheduled delivery time, my package never arrived. Even worse, the tracking status was falsely updated to 'Delivered' while I was at home, even though no courier ever showed up at my door. It is unacceptable to provide false information and fail on basic delivery commitments. Based on numerous similar reviews, this seems to be a systemic issue rather than an isolated incident."

Never choose UPS in Hungary
My parcel was out for delivery, yet never arrived. When I looked up the tracking it was mentioning missing address details. Double checked the address and it’s all good, so I called the customer service for clarification. They tell me that they cannot deliver without the doorbell number. I mostly shop online yet never put up my doorbell number, never have I heard an excuse like this. When I ask the lady why they just don’t call me, she tells me that they are not obligated to do so and that’s why my order cannot be delivered. On the sender side, they mention reasons like weather conditions or name mismatch somewhere. That’s 3 different reasons in total why they failed to deliver my parcel, it should tell you something about how this company works here in Hungary. It would have been less of a headache if I just drove to Germany and back for this parcel.
Very disappointing experience with UPS…
Very disappointing experience with UPS Hungary. They had the correct delivery address, yet the tracking information showed a completely different city. They claimed to have tried to deliver my package, but no one ever came and I was home the entire time. It’s also nearly impossible to contact their customer service for help. Extremely poor communication and unreliable service. I expected much better from a major shipping company. Still waiting for my package late 4 days now!

They had the full address
They had the full address. The phone number and they decided that they wouldn't deliver because the name of the receiver is not in the list of the buzzer in the entrance of the building. Literally a call or a call to the buzzer would have solved this issue. But they rather not engaging. They also don't respond to the English speaking customers on their phone number 3 times more than 10min waiting on the line and when it was my turn they just hanged the call. Pathetic service like every courier in this country. Go work people
Hungarian UPS with false information, packages that never arrive.
According to the UPS tracking data, the package arrived at the Tiszaújváros distribution center on January 14th. My delivery address is Szerencs, which is a little over 40 km from this location.
On January 14th, at 11:45, I received an official UPS notification that the package would be delivered the next day, January 15th. However, just seven minutes later, at 11:52, the tracking system updated to say that a delivery attempt had already been made and that the delivery had failed due to an incorrect address.
This is factually impossible:
The address provided is correct.
No delivery attempt was made. (How could they know, 40 km is not a 7 minute distance)
UPS itself had claimed minutes earlier that the delivery was scheduled for the next day, January 15th – therefore the delivery attempt on January 14th could not have happened.
Later that same day, at 16:45, the tracking status changed again, stating that the package had “re-arrived” at the distribution center, even though it had never left.
At 17:55, I received another email saying that the delivery would be on January 16th.
However, the tracking system shows that at 19:00, the package arrived in Vecsés, which is about 200 km from my address and in the opposite direction.
These tracking updates are contradictory and cannot be true. Based on this, I believe that UPS is providing false or incorrect tracking information and has not actually attempted delivery at all.
My package is an express parcel, this is didn't arrive yet (2 weeks).
The service is very slow
The service is very slow, the package waits for days at each station, and two weeks is not enough for the goods to arrive.
Scammers and criminals
Scammers and they enjoyed my 2 purchases from Amazon. A printer 130€ and a bed blanket for 110€. ups hungary should be taken out of business. They probably do make packages disappear for reselling it somewhere else. They should be reported to police

UPS is much worse than usps. I dont even know where to begin. 0 customer service. No humans work for CS at this company. You cannot speak to a human. They have the worst tracking system in the industry.

The address. and receiver name is correct.
Then they send the packet back to the sender.
They didn't try to deliver the packet. Seems that UPS is not fit for the Hungarian energy!
