This has by far been one of the worst experiences from recent memory. Going to America I had some expectation of being placed on a great Camp as outlined by USA summer camp. Upon arrival it was the complete contrast, extremely dirty living conditions and a hostile environment left me wanting to cut short my trip just a week in. But this is when the problems only began, with rude comments and quite frankly not helpful reperesrntives from USA summer camp they where concerned more about getting more money out of my self than actually helping me through this and discussing possible options on what I can do. Arriving home I have received nothing but a barrage of emails saying that I need to £500 just for leaving and coming home, this is a complete disgrace considering how much I spent on coming out to the USA through this scam of a process. I would recommend to anyone thinking about doing this DO NOT it’s not worth the time and money wasted and the stress they cause.

Very helpful, made the whole process very easy. I can’t wait for my summer experience to begin

I cannot recommend these enough! They hold your hand through every step of the process and their customer service is the best I have seen! I have a lot of friends struggling with Visas due to their sponsor however, USA summer jobs are the only company that is getting their students over to the U.S. Jenny was my agent as was extremely helpful and enthusiastic. She had weekly calls with me to check how my application process was going and truly made the daunting process easy! A truly great company with great people! 5/5!

All staff working with USA Summer camp has been extremely helpful. They are fast with their replies, patient, and very informative with any questions that I have asked. I highly recommend choosing the USA Summer camp!

Only one month after I started to apply I was already placed.

USA Summer Camp is the best organisation ever to help you find a place at camp. From the very beginning when I first signed up for camp they were all very friendly, informative and helpful. I was a bit daunted by the application because it involves a lot of detail but they made the process so much easier for me by guiding me through everything step by step. Niall in particular was a great help and his enthusiasm for camp influenced me so much to want to go myself and put all my fears about stepping out of my comfort zone to rest. I was placed at a great camp very quickly due to USA Summer Camp’s help. I highly recommend them.

This company is a money grabbing, thieving business that exploits young people wanting to travel. They do not even deserve the 1 star rating, but unfortunately it won’t let me rate them any lower.

I was 17 years old when I enrolled in this program, in 2019. Unfortunately, my camp closed due to the pandemic. I contacted USA summer camp to request a refund since I hadn’t had my visa, flight etc I didn’t think this would be a problem, as it had not been a problem for all other companies in a similar position, this is when the realisation hit that this in fact is not like any other company, they are a thieving, money grabbing, evil company that take advantage of that fact they are dealing with young adults, so they think they can get away with their dishonest, money grabbing ways.

There response was “as a gesture of good will” they will defer my booking to another year. I am now taking legal action as this is in-fact a breach of contract, I had signed a contract to take part in USA summer camp in 2021, I had not agreed to any other year so deferring my payments is not an option. For a little background story, when I applied for USA summer camp I lived with my parents and had completed my apprenticeship, I was looking at having a few months travel and then coming back to full time employment. So deferring my payments is not an option due to a change in circumstances, I now live on my own, have bills to pay and work a full time job so it is not practice for me, hence why I signed a contract for 2020!!!! I have emailed and called the company several times and have received little to no response.

I would advise everyone to please take legal action, just as I have had to do.

Brilliant company to start you off and get you placed in a camp. Had everything done and was placed within 3 weeks from when I first applied. Can’t recommend enough.

I applied to become a camp councillor in america. The programs staff are extremely catering and will help you with any questions. Niall especially was very friendly and made me feel welcome. Overalls pleasant experience and wonderful people

Thanks to USA Summer Camp I have just been placed at an amazing camp for next summer! They were so helpful throughout the whole process, they were always there to answer and questions or queries I had. They check in to see how you are getting on and talk you through the next steps on your journey to camp which I found especially helpful. I couldn’t recommend USA Summer Camp more, they completely took the stress out of getting placed at camp. The staff are so friendly and always willing to help!
