Buyer Beware!!! Complete bait and switch. It said $8 per monthly subscription and then it charged me an annual subscription of $96 for 12 months. Looked for a way to cancel it within minutes and then went down a rabbit hole of questions and when I cancelled it it said that my membership would run through 2025 for the full amount. After doing some research online and finding a customer service number someone actually answered the phone and said they couldn’t refund the money because I had (accidentally) downloaded a document so they would have to charge me at least the $39 monthly fee (they said they would refund the balance, let’s see). Reporting them to BBB and my credit card company. Absolutely unethical company that is into tricking unsuspecting consumers and confusing them to hit on payment options that are intentionally deceptive and misleading.

Once again, apologies if you found our pricing page confusing. This was NOT our intention, we assure you. The switcher between monthly and annual is intentionally highlighted in orange (the most eye-catching color, we've tested multiple options, actually). Also, this switcher is located on the top of pricing options. Sorry, we really do not know how to make it more obvious without sacrificing the design of the whole page.
At this point, we can confirm that there has been phone communication between yourself and our Billing Support, and that agreement has been reached regarding the partial refund as the difference between annual and monthly charges (it has already been issued).
Regarding activity within the account: unfortunately, on our end, there are no means to check whether you've downloaded the form accidentally or intentionally. The system treats this as active use, hence the charge.
The same person who you talked to on the phone and who arranged a refund for you would be also replying to you on BBB, we already see the complaint registered in the admin panel.

I feel like the site is set up to do a bate and switch
The web site was confusing and I felt that It mispresented what a month subscription costs.
It suggests signing up, 8 dollars monthly, then download the item you want, then cancel the subscription. It was like a bate and switch. Found out that the monthly subscription was actually 40 dollars

As you can see here (https://www.uslegalforms.com/pricing/), the switcher between monthly and annual options is right above the plans and is highlighted in orange. It also specifically indicates the saving % when you decide in favor of an annual plan.
We've tested multiple options, actually, and these design and color choice seemed to be the most obvious one.

I tried to find a legal form and thought I had to sign up first. Since it said $15/mo cancel anytime I tried it. It turned out to be $15/mo for 12 mo or $180/yr. When I tried to cancel they said sorry, we will refund you $121 and charge $59 for 1 month. This was not what I thought I was buying and I see many complaints about this on BBB site.

$15/mo = $180 / year is the annual offer, correct, meaning when you pay for the whole year in advance and then use the service for the whole year.
Since your account has registered use of the form(s) and downloads, we are unable to provide a full annual refund for you, thus, we had to charge you on a monthly basis, not the annual one.
Apologies if the conditions were not immediately obvious!
