Shady business tactics, junk power banks
I backed the Indiegogo Bold 2 campaign from UZE, and like most other backers, have yet to receive anything 5 months after the expected delivery date. To make matters worse, I received a “survey” email from Uze in February of this year, which of course also asked for $39 more in shipping. I completed that and very nervously paid the additional $39 back in February. I ASSUMED that meant my product was finally ready to ship. Nope. To date, I have still heard nothing. Why request the $39 shipping fee if it’s not ready to ship? That is a dishonest tactic.
At any rate, based on the reviews from the few backers who HAVE received their Bold 2, they are absolute garbage. Poor battery capacity, screens that stop working after a day, and completely bricked after a few charges.
I’ve learned my lesson on backing campaigns like this. Please save your $200+ and buy a different power bank from a reputable company such as Anker.

So, I can tell you it isn't a scam, but!...
The unit I got that was supposed to be Samsung, doesn't actually charge the watch, so I have a dead charger on one part of it. Now the screen stopped working, almost entirely. I followed the directions for setup and have messaged support, but am not getting any response. The unit does feel well made, though, and I did ultimately get it, but it was 4+ months after the target date and doesn't work as advertised and for a critical function for me. I was really hopeful, tbh, and far more patient than some other have been, but am ultimately disappointed with the utility and support.

Looking like yet another crowdfunding scam. Bought 3 units. I have seen none! No communication as to when they are arriving. Stay away unless they start shipping.
Zero communication, bad customer service, probable scam
Backed this company's Bold 2 Power Bank on Indiegogo. It was scheduled to ship months ago, and the company absolutely refuses to provide any specific information about shipping dates or current project status. All kinds of vague information-free "updates" about their commitment to service or belief in transparency or quest for excellence or whatever, but nothing with an actual date or status. The backers are understandably going nuts about this - the comments on the project page are getting more heated by the day - as their non-update updates have promised shipping Real Soon Now for months. A small handful of customers have received their units, and many of those seem to be malfunctioning. But what small percentage of orders shipped, or have even been manufactured? What's the cause of the latest delay? We'll probably never know. How long do we have to wait until we're 100% certain we've been scammed out of our contributions? Granted, this is Indiegogo and not a normal consumer channel. But if this is how the company behaves there, what kind of experience do you think regular customers will have?

I feel scammed by this company I recommend you don’t back the bold 2 or any of their future campaigns as they care so much for the backers that they won’t guarantee a backed product only ones purchased from their website. My bold had problems from the get go with their customer service refusing to get back to me and now that they have they refuse to replace my clearly factory damaged product as the plug used to charge their bold wasn’t their own completely overpriced gan charger instead it was a charger from anker (a very well known and trusted brand used by millions unlike a a start up with no previous experience) they send you a link to their warranty which clearly doesn’t state the use of 3rd party chargers and also has no disclaimer of this “rule” anywhere on the page. They advertise high quality products with good after care so let me tell you about my bold. The bold was delayed multiple times which is nothing new for a Kickstarter but when I received my bold it was choosy and what usbs wanted to work and when, when I decided to take it on holiday with me I packed a fully charged bold and when I got onto my plane and wanted to use my bold the battery was almost already dead so I charged the product over and over and within a few hours of no use the battery would be 30% or sometimes more down the only advise I’m getting from their “great” customer service is to charge my battery and use it to recalibrate the sensors which I am trying to do but it makes it hard when guess what… my charger refuses to charge more then one device as a time.
