Don't waste your money
Very poor customer service. Don't know what's happened. Always used to be so good to deal with . Ordered zpack shoes on the 16th of may . Not received anything or refund at all . Not answering any emails at all . Sent about five . I heard on the grapevine that they our in trouble and got to big and can't get hold of stock . Now trying to get money back with bank . Always used to be one of the good guys to deal with. Not anymore very sad state of affairs. Maybe the should of not sent out bags of sweets with each order and they might be still in business. Website still live so don't know what's happened. Definitely not wanting to answer any emails.
Missing tent in delivery
Missing tent in delivery, I'm down £350 and being ghosted by the company
Not so Valley and not so Peak!
Last 2 weeks I sent three emails - no replies, and one Signed For letter - no acceptance at their address in Louth, and Royal Mail "Returned to Sender", ie Me. What is going on? Are they a co-herant business? And what a way to treat customers. Valley and Peak, please respond. 13JUN26
Lack of Professionalism and Poor Practices
My experience with Valley and Peak was disappointing due to what I felt was a lack of professionalism and poor business practices.
Professionalism, clear communication, and reliability are qualities I expect from any company, and unfortunately my experience fell short in these areas.
Based on my experience, I would be hesitant to recommend Valley and Peak and would encourage potential customers to carefully consider their options before engaging with them.

I ordered and paid for some Zpacks camp shoes (preorder) on the 18 May 2026.
I emailed Valley and Peak yesterday 9th June asking for an update. Haven't received a reply as yet.
In the past I've ordered many items from them and the service as always been exceptional.
Hope all is ok and things return to how they were.
Still waiting for refund...
Item returned with confirmation email to state that the returned item had been received and to please allow up to 14 days for the refund.
3 weeks later, no further contact, no refund and no responses to emails or social media messages.
Missing delivery, no response
Ordered a next day delivery backpack. Received order details, but no backpack. Six days later, no response to Emails or a phone call to a number provided by Klarna.
I will update as necessary but cant recommend you deal with this supplier as they did not fulfil an order, have left it pending and wont respond to Emails or phone.
Don't expect a refund if goods are returned despite the website promise
Bad experience. I bought a pair of Aku tactical hiking shoes from V and P. There seemed to be an issue with the Quicklace system - the lace on one shoe seemed too short. I couldn't get my foot in the shoe! I registered the return on V and Ps return portal per the instruction and returned the unworn shoes with the original labels and box. I received an acknowledgement email that these had been received by V and P and they would process the refund in 10-14 days. After 3 -weeks I sent a polite reminder email to support@valleyand peak as I hadn't received a refund. I received no reply and no refund. I sent a further 2 reminder emails over the past 2-weeks but again no reply and no refund. I've therefore had to raise a dispute with the credit card company to recover the monies.
Preordered tent
Preordered tent. Tent delivered as pre order but wrong tent sent. Tried to communicate to request replacement- no response to any of my emails. Very dissappointed as have always found them very trustworthy. Having to try to reclaim money from bank
I ordered a sleeping mat six weeks ago…
I ordered a sleeping mat 4 weeks ago where they stated it would be delivered within two weeks. Still nothing. They're not replying to my emails, to my phone calls. They are completely ignoring them. I've sent them five or six emails, nothing back at all.
I'd be very careful with this company. I think they might be in trouble. . They have such a good reputation in the business. Something must be very wrong for them to be doing this.
As you can see from the reviews below, I'm not the only one.
No comms, no contact, no delivery
Ordered a sleepng mat 3 weeks ago. no emails, no delivery, sent 3-4 emaisl to support. no replies. It looks like they are closing down but still taking the money. Cant explain any other way. Another guy on the FB page with the same issues. Be aware.
No communication
I also ordered a Nortent vern 2 in early April, emailed them for information which they were responding to at the beginning but now they are not answering . Spent over £600 and get no response. Earlier emails kept saying 2 weeks, end of next week, early next week but now nothing. What's going on. Why are they not putting my concerns at rest with a quick answer. How do I find out what’s happening and if there’s another time line for dispatch or maybe they can’t get them. Who knows. This is poor communication COMMUNICATE .
Update. : This company have taken my money and evaporated into the wind, nothing. I’ve now informed my bank credit card people to put in a dispute and hopefully they can help with my loss of money.
Bad customer support. Ignoring emails.
I ordered the Nortent Vern 2 in March, the estimated delivery was the week commencing 27th of April. I reached out via email on the 29th of April and was informed that there was a delay and the tent should be delivered within the next 2 weeks. Today is June 1st and still waiting. Have tried emailing the support team however they are now ignoring my emails. Absolutley disgusting customer service. I have spent a lot of money on this tent and would just like clarity on the situation.
A cheap trick!
As a long term customer I am appalled that one of my go to shops should resort to using cheap tricks to dupe customers. Having received an advert stating an item was back in stock I duly placed my order.
What a mistake. They did not have any to sell and were not expecting them for at least 3 weeks yet processed my payment. Misleading customers is not how to build customer loyalty so I registered a complaint with the Advertising Standards agency.
Despite numerous emails asking for someone to call me, nobody did.
I eventually received a response saying they would cancel the order and confirm.
As yet, no confirmation, NO refund. Totally unacceptable behaviour.
I am so angry and disappointed that one of my favourite retailers has stooped to such cheap tricks to get a a few quid in the cash register by selling stuff they don’t even have to sell. This combined with the wholesale lack of stock makes me wonder …….

Great customer service from luke
I contacted valley and peak about a tent i was after, seeing if they had a demo of it. They did, and luke was amazing. Clear communication, went above and beyond to pitch it and send multiple photos. We agreed on a price and it arrived in a few days. Great customer service from luke, very pleased with the tent.
Smorgasbord of out of stock items
This shop is an absolute joke. IV had credit for months and can't spend it due to the lack of items actually in stock and the fact they never seem to re stock. Can't understand the point of them. And that's without mentioning the extortionate high prices to some of the items. Can't wait to actually be able to use this credit as I won't be a returning customer once it's gone, if I do ever get to use it.

If the world ran as well as Valley and Peak...... Wow!
I recently tried to order online a tent, but the website wouldn't accept my email (my fault), however in emailing VP (that alone is a novelty, you can contact someone....) almost immediately I got an answer, from Luke, who couldn't have been more helpful, short of delivering in person the tent....except he got it delivered in a manner that helped me no end, and foc. Such service is a rare thing and very much appreciated. Potential customers might save themselves a lot of hassle by making contact with V and P first.
