A lovely stay in the heart of Stamford. The house was stylish, well presented and clean. Plenty of space for storage and a spacious kitchen for cooking.
Communication was great from beginning to end. Would recommend for an enjoyable weekend stay.
Excellent communication from the hosts which made us feel welcomed and cared for. Everything in the property was easy and straightforward to access which made for a relaxing stay.
Morals of company lacking - only interested in the financial side not personal standards. Would not book with them or use their properties. Poor service and poor company. Avoid.
Lambert cottage in Stamford is in a very good, central location. It is a spacious house, was clean, and had the added bonus of parking. We had a few problems with the heating on arrival, which the owner was happy to help sort out. There are areas of the house which could do with some attention - the carpet in the hall could do with a clean, there are marks on the walls going upstairs and the downstairs toilet definitely needs some attention. There is a very dirty looking pull string for the light in the downstairs toilet, and a shower mat which was disgusting and needs to be binned. There is also black mould around and dirty looking skirting boards. The blind in the kitchen also needs replacing - it does not stay down when pulled. The house has lots of potential, and could be lovely with some improvements and maintenance.
Was in one of their properties for 4 weeks and couldn’t have been more pleased, really helpful from start to finish while our own property was being sorted. Couldn’t recommend enough
Venture Stays provided excellent communication at all stages of the process..from booking, access to the property, dealing with any questions, even out of normal hours, and on leaving. I would describe the business owners as efficient , business-like , with a friendly touch.
I have stayed at the Stamford property before because it really is a comfortable, clean and well -equipped house. The 2 on site parking spaces are unusual for a house so close to the historic centre of Stamford. For us it is our ‘go to house ‘ where different parts of the family can meet up without worrying about where to park. There is even a separate dining room for family meals. Our stay was a true ‘ home from home’ experience and we will be returning soon.
we stayed for work purposes, we like to look for places that are a home away from home and this is exactly how i would describe it. the host was very friendly and attenuative. would recommend :)
The house is very cozy with great areas and very well maintained,and with everything we need for both cooking and washing.
Always very clean, with parking.
In a quiet area but with lots of shops around, and close to the city center. Josh is always very attentive and available to help.
I recommend it, and I will definitely come back again. 😃
