Nothing but a run-around!
BEWARE!! I got nothing but a run around from Veteran Car Donations. I sent them photos and paperwork of my camper and they said they wanted it. They told me a tow company will contact me the next day. This was repeated several times, but nothing happened for almost two weeks. Then I get a call from them saying they weren't interested after all. So two weeks wasted!!

Specialty vehicles like campers and RVs unfortunately involve extra steps on our end (additional appraisal, matching with a tow provider equipped to handle the size/type, and sometimes acceptance review) that standard car donations don't require. That process should never mean silence or repeated "someone will call you tomorrow" promises with no follow-through, and it's clear we dropped the ball on communicating with you along the way.
We appreciate you flagging this, and we're sorry it cost you the time it did. We are reviewing this internally to see how we can improve and ensure every donor has a positive experience.
The donation process was easy and done within 5 days.
The vehicle was towed away from my parking lot and proof of my donation was given to me on paper so that I, hopefully, can get a deduction on my taxes.
