Vettery Avis 145

Awesome sauce. After literally years of interviews and being "just not quite the right fit for this position" I was convinced I was an untalented hack. Vettery reached out to me about an AWESOME company (Not sure if I'm allowed to name them here) and after two rounds of interviews I was hired- that too in the middle of a pandemic. I'm not sure how they figured out what I couldn't for the last few years, but BAM this role fits me like a glove and I'm still happy a year in. Would definitely come back to Vettery in the future should the need arise.

My experience with vettery was excellent.

I recieved a lot of support and assistance from vettery in making sure I have a reliable point of contact with places I've interviewed at while also helping me ace the interviews I've been invited to.

Vettery did a great job of finding me opportunities that fit my skill and desired work. They understood my industry well and communicated well throughout the time I worked with them.

The site is great-- there's a good number of jobs and recruiters on the platform. Unfortunately, my experience with a recruiter was not so great, with no fault from Vettery. In this case, I had a recruiter apply me for a job, with a great compensation, sign an offer letter but back out at the last second because "the employer defunded the position". It was a good thing I hadn't handed in my two-week notice until everything was settled.

Again, I don't suspect this was because of Vettery-- my experience with the site has been enthusiastic so far.

I'd suggest building on the UI of the site, there were some oddities in the design of the web pages, but that's to be expected of a new service. Keep it up!

Vettery has held my hand on and off for a few months now, and it always brought the prime positions just right for my career, and finally, I found my job here doing something I like doing, and it was unexpected!

My Vettery manager Riley was always encouraging, persistent, and followed up with the company more than I did, always made sure there were no obstacles to communications and messaging between the candidate and company.

The team was very understanding of issues related to the current situation with COVID. I am not very good at following up sometimes, and they were on top of things making me communicate throughout the process with all prospect employers.

Vettery connected me with the right employer on the first try, so I can't say a lot. Their communication was excellent and they came through with the signing bonus. I would certainly give any contact from them first priority.

Vettery found a match that no one else could find and helped me land a job.

I used the other services, but Vettery is where I found my next career move. I had several strong opportunities.

Vettery suggested several interesting and appropriate job opportunities and organized interviews and other tasks and events in a clear and well organized layout. Vettery staff kept in contact to ensure a smooth process.

Vettery would be 10000x better if there were more entry/junior level jobs. Other than that, it's been pretty good I suppose.

Vettery gave me hope in finding a career that I would love and enjoy!

The future of job searching. They try their best to place you with a decent team.

I had a great experience through Vettery. And even found myself a job out of it. The team was supportive, and setup times for my current employer and I to meet. Very happy with my work situation.

However, I am disappointing that my friends who I referred all had a poor experience. The three claimed they never got accepted through Vettery's Application Process, And when reaching out to get a status update they were given the run around. These were co-workers who were always there for me, taught me so much in my career, and who I feel were even more qualified than I was. For this reason I can only provide 4 stars.

I love that Vettery inserted themselves from the very beginning of my search. Most recently, the interview process at a large financial institution has been one of the most intense I’ve been through thus far and it was really refreshing to have had the consistent contact of a recruiter and concierge from Vettery supporting me and encouraging me along the way. In the past I felt that the “radio silence” is one of the toughest arts of job searching, a candidate often approaches each interview from a space of vulnerability and to be “ghosted” or not brought along the journey in a transparent way throughout the process is really a disservice.

I’m absolutely grateful for any company, centering dignity in the recruitment process.

In the end, I did not receive an offer but I did received a link to a “how to ask for feedback” information article to help me in my last outreach to the firm. Overall a great experience.

The way Vettery guides candidates through the job search and interview process is unique and feels very personal. Having an assigned representative to help you in your search makes things feel like someone is on your team during the whole experience. Being contacted by companies who are serious about getting to know you is refreshing.

However, the platform feels better suited to candidates who want to quickly bounce to a new position than ones who are not in a hurry to move.
