I bought the glass mat for my office chair. It sits on carpet. I like it, and after a month no problems. I have a 20 year-old Herman Miller Aeron chair with replaced wheels that are made of rubber. I will say that the mat does move a bit, but it's not difficult to put it back in place. It looks and works so much better than the ugly plastic one it replaced.

The other reviews are ridiculous! These glass floor mats are high quality and totally durable. They look great, and don't move around on carpeting.

Dropped a heavy object on it accidentally and it shattered. These mats are overpriced with shoddy workmanship.

This is a purchase that I regret. A year ago I bought the Vitrazza chair mat because it is transparent and would not hide the attractive hardwood floor it is protecting. The company provides clear plastic bumpers to apply to the underside of the glass. These prevent the glass from sliding on the floor. They also create a gap of about .25” between the glass and the floor. This gap allows dust and dirt to accumulate under the glass. Customer support offered no solution. Cleaning under the glass requires lifting a very heavy awkward object. Not an easy task. I thought this chair mat would enhance the appearance of my office; it did the opposite. Now I’m looking for an alternate solution, but what can i do with this big piece of glass?

Bought this glass mat for my office and I accidentally dropped a heavy object on it and it cracked just like an egg. Don't waste your money on an inferior product.

Just a stupid purchase at an outrageous price. This thing shifts and does not fit under my desk so always rolling off. Just dumb purchase. The good old fashioned plastic desk mats for 1/10th the price are the way to go. Save your money.

Wish I could give Vitrazza less than one. I purchased a glass platform to sit beneath my chair. It shattered for an unknown reason after a few months. A 500 dollars investment with a supposed guarantee should be safe, it wasn’t. I reported it to company and they requested pictures. I sent them with no follow up or resolution. I simply lost 500 dollars. Don’t trust this company. I paid for another at Costco and Costco glass mat is still in use for a lot cheaper. And if Costco has an issue with their product they back it up. Vitrazza simply takes your money and if you send pictures as they ask they no longer communicate with you. Rip off artists! Bad company. Choose another alternative.

Always moving around

I bought a chair mat 2 years ago because of the lifetime Warranty claim. I noticed there're many scratches. I filed the warranty claim form with photos twice and have been 4 weeks and have not received any acknowledgement from the company. I definitely would not recommend their products.

Deep scratches in less than a year and not covered by warranty. I bought the special wheels and still got the scratches. Looks terrible now. The company did nothing to fix or replace. Terrible support and terrible service

I recently bought a Rectangle Glass Chair Mat from Vitrazza.com. I am so pleased with this mat. Vitrazza has an easy to navigate website and within moments I was able to find the size was looking for. I needed a 42" x 48" mat which they had in stock. I paid for it online and the next day received via email the shipping and tracking info. Delivery was prompt. The packaging of this mat really amazed me. Sturdy construction and just about break proof. My product arrived without a scratch or blemish. Along with the glass mat, I received a small selection of silicone bumper nubs for use as padding and anti slippage. I used the size meant for plush carpet. Works very well, the mat never moves and the silicone bumpers are almost unnoticeable. If you are in need of a chair mat for the home or office, I Highly Recommend this company and their product. I've used other types of chair mats that were all but useless, and lasted at most a year. I have no doubt that this glass mat will last many many years. One of the best purchases I've made in a very long time. A little spendy perhaps, but looks, serviceability and durability far outweigh the cost.
