I decided to be brave and create a ground mounted solar system myself. After a lot of research, VoltaconSolar stood out. They have everything needed, from the latest panels, floor mounted frames, inverters and batteries. I assembled the frames and placed the panels and an electrician completed the rest. Lovely company to work with, Andrei and Michal especially looked after me and made the process simple and rewarding

I live completely off grid & there are not many companies who can provide a completely off grid system. From first contact right through to delivery they have provided a fantastic service & have followed up with any concerns promptly & efficiently. Highly recommend.

I ordered a solar mount from Voltacon. The order was made on a Tuesday with expectation of getting the delivery by and installing the following weekend, however it did not arrive. The following week I called 4 times and each time I was told it would be delivered by the weekend. On the Friday I still did not even have a courier tracking number, I called again and was told it would arrive on Tuesday (2 weeks after the order was made). I think if my expectations were managed better and the communications from Voltacon were truthful / proactive I would have given more stars. All that aside the mount itself is of a good quality so not all bad.

Ordered a Pylontech US5000C battery, expected delivery of it yesterday 15th, nothing arrived. TNT tracking is still at "collecting", but Andrei at Voltacon says the battery was collected by the courier on 13th.

Voltacon say they have started an investigation with the courier and will let me know.

I will update this review as the situation changes, but I should have received the battery yesterday (15th), so it's not a good experience so far.

** Update 19th May - Andrei received an update from the first courier (16th) that the original package was not scanned at collection. Rather than wait for the package to be found, a new shipment was made and was received today, 19th. I now have the battery. Hence, I have updated the review to 4 stars.

Not knowing how long I would have to wait for the original courier to respond, means I was expected to wait an unknown time for a resolution, hence the original 1 star review.

Great advice over the phone, they called me back in person to advise what inverter I needed to replace the one I had before. Then purchase and delivery was smooth and I received the inverter extremely fast and it is working fine now it’s installed. This was also the cheapest price I saw online for this item. I would buy here again and recommend to friends and family.

I've dealt with this company many times , as parts arrive undamaged, and usually on time you don't have to worry too much.
The equipment I find is flawless, be it the inverters or switchgear,of high quality so should see many, many years service within my pretty hostile off grid environment, where some boundaries are pushed to the limits, these voltacon products really cope well.

I haven't used the battery yet but so far as the purchase goes, ordering was simple, the price good and delivery cost extremely reasonable, quick and it was sent with a proper courier. I was kept very well informed.

We bought a Conversol A10 inverter and solar panels from Voltacon and the inverter went down after 6 months. Fault code 52 D.C. board fault outside warranty. Fair enough sent wiring diagram and asked for their input. Reply was no surge or lightning protection in place ( not shown in my drawing but is in place). You need a new DC board at £250 + £45 fitting, ok asked them to send me the board to fit. No further replies after 5 emails to them, the synic in me says they don’t want to send a board for me to fit as I will find out the problem is elsewhere covered by warranty or is a minor diode or resistor fault that’s a £10 fix. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE As an add on I have fitted and commissioned alternative power sources around the globe in secure environments Upto 500 kva so I do know my job!
