Veranos sent me shoes two sizes smaller than I ordered and they were very cheaply made in china. I ordered thinking they were Australian company advertising Canberra.They then said I had to pay to return to China before getting a refund even though it wasn't my fault they sent me wrong size. I found out shipping costs were too expensive . They offered me 20 percent refund and I took it because I wasn't getting anywhere complaining to them. They definitely a rip off company.

BEWARE and AVOID. This site is misleading and definitely NOT Australian/Canberra. It is a Chinese drop shipping company.

Like another reviewer, I would give a zero rating if I could. Their website says Canberra, so I assumed it was an Australian company. After about 5 weeks, instead of cotton polo shirts which I ordered, we received an inferior product made of shiny synthetic fabric, so cheap and ugly, and so unsuitable for the Australian environment, clearly sent from China. The company would not give me a refund unless I paid for and sent the product back. I ended up settling for a 20% refund, because of the frustration of dealing with them. This is what they do. Hope that people will give up. And making a lot of money by advertising a quality product, overpricing that product, then refusing to provide a refund for the rubbish products that they actually deliver. It is an absolute scam company. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM.

I would give this zero stars if I could. Like other reviews, it was completely misleading buying from what was marketed and intentionally misrepresented as an Australian based company. The shoes took 6 weeks to arrive and now I know why, because they were coming from China. There were always promises to follow up on shipping tracking that never got updated so I thought I was scammed.
Once they finally arrived, I realise that I was scammed. The shoes are terrible, flimsy quality and too small. They were in a plastic bag and dented. They didn't even come with laces. I asked for a full refund but only offered 10% so on requesting to send back for the full refund and needing to complete customs declarations forms and about $25 for tracked postage,the online mandatory declaration forms doesnt even recognise the address provided so I can't progress.
Absolutely shonky business ripping off and scamming Australians will be taking it further.

I ordered a size 10, they sent me a size 9. I now have to pay to return the shoes to China! They continue to offer me a discount to keep the shoes, but what’s the point they don’t fit! I would have expected at least an apology from the company that they sent the wrong size but noooo. What a disappointment. Also the product looks cheep, clearly a knock off. This was my first experience buying shoes online and I’ve need put off forever. Warning:Do not buy from this company.

Deceptive business. Purporting to be from Canberra but are chinese. havent arrived yet so will seek a refund. Not happy with decietfulness of this business. Dont buy from them.

The sizing is not right and runs very small. And of very basic quality.

I assumed I was buying from a business that was in Canberra Australia, this was not the case. Extremely deceptive!

Don't waste your time or money!
I bought 3 items which, while not super expensive, were not very cheap either. Of the three items none are made from the materials stated. One was meant to be leather and another linnen, but the 'leather' was a cheap, thin, synthetic material and the linnen was a cotton and polyester blend.
Also everything came in a clearly cheap Chinese drop shipped bag like Temu or AliExpress and each item was in a cheap plastic bag including the shoes.
The company website implied it was based in Canberra with the brand originating from the Netherlands.
I will never buy from them again and suggest you don't either.

Ordered the red Sneakers | Orthopedic Platform Lace-Up Sneakers. What I ordered and what arrived were not nearly the same. What arrived was inferior in every way. The response to my query was quick. Apology said everything it should. Waiting now on refund. 20% and do not have to return. As the product was so ‘defective’ I think I probably should get a full refund. Not going to happen. Careful of misleading advertising. Says office in Canberra, however, head office Netherlands and manufactured in China.

They drop ship from China. The product sent did not match the slick marketing they show on the website. It was cheap. They want you to return the product to china for a refund.

The company website states Voranos Canberra. Don't be fooled. They are not an Australian company.
Their website also states that they have a great Trustpilot reviews, but that's not the case either. Their company had no presence on this website until I set it up.
Their stock is all in China and shipping times are extremely slow. I waited 2 weeks, but it could easily be longer.
The quality of the trainers that finally arrived was very low. They probably wouldn't last 6 months. The sizing is also much smaller than standard AU sizes. I ordered a women's 6, but it was a 5 at best. They're going straight to the charity shop as it would not be cost (or time) effective to try and ship them back.
