Not a legit business opportunity

Not a legit business opportunity! While they appeared to have systems and processes for helping "independent partners" connect with jobs they could not deliver on their "money back" guarantee or their promises. They have resorted to ghosting rather than responding. If they had been able to keep their promises or even provide updates and communication, I might not be upset. The contacts that I connected with initially are no longer there and messages are going unanswered. Shame on you, Wade Marketing.

Wade Marketing is a SCAM

UPDATE 09/10:
Within 7 days of posting this review I have received 3 emails and 2 text messages from Wade Marketing with a letter from a lawyer THREATENING TO SUE ME FOR DEFAMATION IF I DON'T REMOVE THIS REVIEW!!!

Here's a snippet: "This is your final warning.
If you do not comply with the instructions as outlined within the attached legal notice, we will have no choice but to proceed with legal action to protect our rights and interests. Please be aware that legal proceedings can have serious consequences for all parties involved.

Failure to address this matter in a satisfactory manner will result in our legal counsel pursuing all available remedies, including filing a lawsuit against you without further notice.

We strongly recommend seeking legal advice to fully understand the potential ramifications of the current situation."

Everything in this review I wrote is honest and truthful, so I thought to myself what kind of lawyer would send a cease & desist when there's clear evidence I'm being honest.

I GOOGLED THE LAWYER'S NAME AND SAW THAT HE LIVES AND WORKS IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY AND HAS NO JURISDICTION IN AMERICA. HE HAS A FIVERR WHERE YOU CAN PAY HIM $25 TO WRITE LEGAL DEMAND LETTERS!!!

Holy crap, Wade Marketing is an absolute joke. The audacity to provide me with such a terrible service and when I write about my experience try to intimidate & threaten me with defamation, this is unhinged behavior.

Now it makes you wonder, why are all the positive 5 star reviews only from fresh new accounts? Why are there no other negative reviews? Am I the first one they have tried to intimidate to remove an HONEST negative experience? I doubt it.

Review 08/27:
I've had a terrible experience with Wade Marketing. I paid the $578 upfront and was told within 7 days I would receive a portfolio and resume. After 7 days I asked for an update and was ignored in a group chat of 7 other people from their team, I had to reach out to someone a few days later through DM and ask them if someone would answer me and someone did only to tell me that their designer for portfolios is on vacation and that's why it's taking longer than usual.

Then when I got the resume and portfolio I told them errors in dates that I was working at companies, formatting issues, missing items on portfolio, etc. I was ignored once again.. in a groupchat of 7 of their employees. I messaged the groupchat again a few days later, still ignored. I finally got on the phone with someone about a week later and we had a discussion about how it was super unprofessional to keep ignoring my questions in the groupchat, I was apologized to and she told me she'll have the account manager take care of me immediately. After the phone call a few minutes later the account manager got back to me (after a week of not replying to my messages) and basically said "Hey you can edit your resume and portfolio yourself." Okay really? I paid $578 for a service and when there's mistakes you just ask me to fix it myself.

Fine whatever, I fix the portfolio myself. The resume formatting was so messed up I couldn't figure out how to fix out with it messing up the entire resume, I explained this to the groupchat and once again, no answer from the 7 employees at Wade Marketing. At this point I'm fed up and just message the owner directly and explain to him everything that has happened and that I would like a refund. Know what he does? HE BLOCKS ME!!! Yes he blocks me without even messaging me back, no apologies, no remorse of this terrible experience.

So then once again I have to message the groupchat and tell them I asked their owner for a refund and he blocked me, so someone needs to provide me with a refund immdiately or I'll be calling my bank. They told me to email their compliance department for a refund. I've emailed them twice in the past 8 days and still no reply.

Stay far away from this company, all the reviews here seem fake. They're still constantly posting on LinkedIn looking for more clients to sign up, but they don't even have the time to reply to their clients in groupchats and help them get started. It's been 6 weeks now and not even a finished resume, portfolio, single job applied to. Pathetic.

Still pursuing justice. Unsavory business practices.

UPDATE 3/9/24: My review is still true, as WM told me on 1/17/24 that they would grant my refund and has yet to cooperate with Affirm to facilitate this. They have ignored my emails regarding this. I never refused refund. False to say. I’m awaiting response…

I began on 7/5/23. I was excited and hopeful. They give you a sense of security with the 90 day guarantee. They are very positive and kind in the beginning. I adhered to all instructions, however once the process had not worked for me and I requested refund, communication declined and all customer service pleasantries melted away.

I’d been given the runaround for over a month (from 10/27 to 12/2, including my number being blocked), and ultimately received a vague email that failed to even give a reason as to why I was being denied a refund. ESPECIALLY considering they did not even carry out THEIR end of the agreement by providing the full service for 90 days. It was detailed by a Customer Success Manager that my 90 days concluded on 10/27/23 however the last prospective that was sourced by them was on 10/5/23 (I possess proof).

I submitted my grievance in regarding their “decision” on the same day, and have been pursuing justice since.

The following are the points in my email to them. I sent 9 pieces of evidence as attachments.

1. I completed the resource guide in full. If there are sections that appear incomplete, it is because they will not mark complete. I went back through sections that I’d completed that still would not display the check mark in efforts to ensure the guide registered as complete. They still would not populate as completed. There appears to be a system error. I documented a screen recording of this.

2. I have ensured application congruency every time via LinkedIn. The Customer Success Manager explained to me very early on what 100% congruency meant and I adjusted accordingly. Over three iterations. My LinkedIn matched the resume last sent by the owner on this day (12/2 at the time).

3. I have no unsavory content online, and I’d imagine that Wade Marketing would raise this issue during my process if I did, to avoid wasting their own efforts. I have attached a screenshot of the results under my google search.
**I ADDRESSED THIS POINT EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NOT A POINT ON THE INITIAL AGREEMENT. I WAS PRESENTED WITH A NEW COPY OF THE AGREEMENT WITH MORE STIPULATIONS ADDED IN, WHICH I STILL ADHERED TO**

4. Wade Marketing is the reason for me not reaching any additional max number of interview prep sessions due to the interview trainer’s numerous cancellations and lack of calendar space. I was approved for my preliminary sessions with the interview trainer at the end of July (which are the ones mentioned in the guarantee). I have attached several examples in my email of the meetings I was ready and present for that she canceled (they had a number of technical difficulties with scheduling/calendar apparently). Maybe I should have made a bigger deal, but it’s very hard to do interview training when the trainer almost never shows up. She even mentioned on a call that we did have that a particular day wasn’t an option, because she had a hair appointment. Yet and still, I was patient and kept rescheduling per her request. The only calendar invite that I rescheduled was the recurring Tuesday slot, which was erroneously added to my calendar, when my availability has never fit it. But me and the interview trainer hadn’t successfully met in weeks for me to tell her that. I would also like to note that for the one interview I did have, the trainer canceled the interview training that we had scheduled before that.

5. The provided application materials were utilized for all job submissions, and no interview opportunities arose for the presentation materials to be used. I would like to add that I asked if I should rework my niche to be better received and potentially go for different opportunities. I was told that they wanted to keep making tweaks to the social media management niche, which was unsuccessful.

6. Wade Marketing discontinued sourcing and applying for jobs on my behalf on 10/5/23 before my 90 days was even finished. I was informed on this day that my 90 days were not over until 10/27, however no further job applications went out on my behalf from then on. The last submission confirmation email was received on October 2, 2023. After that, I just managed and reviewed the rejections as they came in. I brought this to the customer success manager’s attention on our last call, but the submissions never resumed. Even after finalizing the last iteration of my resume with the owner, the submissions never resumed.

I am awaiting the refund (that I have been pursuing for 4 months now) rightfully owed per their guarantee. I have proof of all claims. Will continue to pursue justice.

Personal mentorship and practice are the difference makers for me

The internship is great cuz im able to practice new stuff vs. simply watching videos and forgetting days later. Definitely recommend their mentorship program to digital marketers like me who are trying to gain more experience and skills to get a job.

Enjoyable, smooth process so far!

The partner success team has been a pleasure to work with, always there to answer my questions and provide assistance, I've really enjoyed my weekly check-ins with Devon and coaching sessions with Kali. I've not landed a job so far, but I have had several interviews within my first few weeks as an independent partner. Brilliant! What a great idea...

Brilliant! What a great idea, but even more impressive was the execution! I have received more interview requests in the last two weeks than I had in the last 3 months before signing up. Interview practice, application materials, and really just the simplicity of the process has been carried out exceptionally well. The team that works at Wade Marketing is extraordinarily helpful and supportive too. Even on super small requests like a couple quick interview questions I'm struggling with or how to use the CRM system effectively. Overall, I'm very happy with my experience thus far as an independent partner!
