Something ain’t right with this company. They take 30$ from your balance and customer service is not helpful and hard to reach. Planning on closing my account, I would look at all your options before settling for this company.

This company is VERY ALARMING. I remember when they came first to the scene, they had a good share of complaints, so thought I would wait it out for a few more years so they can get their act together. Recently opened an account, and there has just been issues after issues.

The negatives:

- Takes a few days for money appear in your account.
- I cancelled a standing order, but when the date came, they still took the money, so I was fuming.
- I tried to withdraw money from account...after 2 days, I get a 'failed withdrawal' email. Which is very frustrating. So decide to call customer service..it rings, with non answer. IMAGINE, you cant withdraw your own money????
- Also, you can only set up standing order on certain days of the week, apparently depending on your bank. So lets say you get paid on 27th, you cant set up standing order for 28th, as its not a Tuesday, wed or thurs (those are only days you can set up)..frankly this is just soo childish.

This is really unacceptable, and this is another nail in the coffin for Wahed. Crap customer service, everything seems slow and NOT WORKING.

Rubbish! They use "HALAL" tactics to lure you in.
I invested in the housing ventures in June 2024, was told to expect rent on my investment from September. To date I have received nothing.
I raised several concerns and there is no proper update other than saying the project is delayed, while they sit on my money!.
I have even raised a complaint and the acknowledge butafter that nothing.
Stay clear - I am going to raise a complaint to the Finacial ombudsman now

Why after i deposit on 19 january 2025. Until now in my wahed account still not received the deposit amount??

I've been using Wahed for 3 years now and have experienced a growth of 11% at the time of withdrawal on the 'fully aggressive' mode. My account manager is easy to get in touch with and always contacts me if I have any queries. I have used other platforms and the returns are not as high as Wahed. Fees are expensive and withdrawals take around 3 to 8 days from my personal experience.

Absolutely cannot be trusted. You can add funds very seamlessly but withdrawing funds is a nightmare. two members of our family had identical experience when withdrawing funds. Customer service is horrible and cannot be reached. They are turning more like a scam company. They also do false advertising and hide behind scholars and athletes. Take your money some where else. They only way to do any thing with your money is through a glitchy app. They eliminated the website interface to save money. If their app is gone you will be at a complete loss.

Impossible to go through there customers services and even left a message an no one come back to me!
I went to there office in Baker street try to withdraw my money been told will take more then 2weeks to get my money back .
Send them 3 emails..no replay till now !!!

Used Wahed a couple of years back and had good returns on their ISA before having to withdraw funds. Got some money available and going back in - bismillah!

For the past week, I have been trying to get through to customer services which is almost non existent.

If you leave a message they do call back however when you have a normal day job it's sometimes impossible to take their call and then you try calling back and again you cannot get through. Surely they should increase the number of agents they have. If your business is doing that well then invest in more agents.

Everything is straightforward with regards to putting money into investment accounts. If I have a question and want to speak with someone over the phone, that process isn’t straightforward

I have tried to deposit more funds in my account via the portal, it won’t let me do that, very frustrating experience, I do not remember the dates

The actual products are great, halal and trustworthy.

The only way to access the account is through the app which is quite limiting. How can I download the tax statements etc to a phone. I need them on my PC, not my phone.

Wahed does not link with any aggregators so I have no way to knowing in real time how my account is doing.

Great App! Easy to understand and use.

I invest in stocks all the time but never seen this poor service. I set-up the account on wahed app and put in a deposit which was taken straight from the bank however it's been 2 weeks and funds not showing in my Wahed account. Called the customer service and she keep apologising and say to be patient. Don't know where my money is and if I will ever get it back. Reading the other reviews make me more worried as withdrawing money seems even more difficult.
Please avoid investing any money.

I've been using Wahed for over 5 years and have only seen them improve their services, especially with the app. I pray they continue to succeed as this will allow Muslims to succeed financially.
