Gave me more support than the Royal British Legion or any other veterans Charity. These people are astonishing.

Sad to say this is a total scam. Shameful to make and take money from our veterans who need our help.

Scam company that's trying to cash in on the approach of Remembrance Sunday.

I was not impressed by there attitude in Tunbridge Wells very aggressive to me and a Elderly man, I will only give to British legion now .

Visiting our Capital is an amazing experience for many. That is until you are aggressively bombarded by some hefty looking, bearded geezer for contributions/donations for a Charity supposedly in support of our Veterans (obviously spotted my Veterans Pin)… intrigued (as never heard of these before), I was more then happy to delve my hand into my moth-ridden wallet and surprise them with a note or two, that was of course until I started asking some simple questions that could have been easily answered.
Instead, (in front of my children) I was hit with a barrage of abuse, called an imposter, basically belittled by this bumbling buffoon…
True Veterans are able to spot a fake a mile away and these people are NOT working in the interests of my Brothers & Sisters - that much I truly believe.
Avoid at all costs..😡😡

Totally rogue CIC scamming and not at all supporting veterans, I work in the civil service and I can tell you now that this outfit won’t be around for much longer. The negative reviews on here are correct with what they have stated.

What’s even shameful is the clear effort via negative review replies, to try and lie their way out of the every growing hole that’s getting very deep.

My advice, do not give them any money if you come across them.

Fake Fake Fake!!! Not ex serving members of the military, I have dealt with these recently as I am ex RN and they are just complete scammers. Police and relevant authorities should be involved and it's an absolute disgrace that they claim to support vets. If I come across you again, it will not be a positive one.

Why is it you seem to target the elderly? Saw you recently in a city near me and not once did you approach a younger person!!

We R Blighty shall not be responding any further to the trolling that has taken place for the last 18 months, of nothing but allegations that time and time again have been proven wrong. For those not connected to the Walter Mitty Hunters HQ please read all of the positive reviews by real veterans and the public that have had real interactions. Please also read all the negative reviews and all responses supplied, particular from Karl Martin, Australian citizen with No known connections to the UK military but is one of their top fans. This is the best way to describe exactly what is going on here, and the lack of intel they have regarding their own club is very concerning, but on one hand apparently know all the ins and outs of an organisation they have never even contacted directly.

Do your own homework on both We R Blighty and their trolls.

I've only had experience with The Blight on social media, over a period of months. Including Ben, Laura, and several collectors. When asked questions, all have been evasive and deflective. If pushed, they become condescending, dismissive, aggresive, abusive, and even threatening, (to varying degrees). Very few clear answers given. Even in their replies here, the same attitudes are shown. They don't help their own case by trying to out TWMHCHQ as Valour thieves, or using a news article about a clone TWMHCHQ page, and so on. They can't even give a straight answer on why they don't need a permit for Street Collections. Their methodology is suss, their accounts are suss, their explainations are suss, the first hand reports of collectors behaviour is suss, their behaviour on Social Media platforms is suss and unprofessional. They aren't to be trusted.

Incorrect - You made statements, I replied in the same vein, directly, and clearly, addressing points 1-5, with me adding point 6 to cover the rest of your rant. This is review about We R Blighty, not TWNHCHQ, the RBL, or a comentary on my Nationality. You know what all that guff is? It's called deflection. You've also raised another point - If you are Vending News, where's your Street Vendor Permit? Also, that doesn't exempt you from Street Collection rules & Regs, (you know, the Chug Buckets).

1/ If you can verify your claims - do so. Everything I've stated is from public records and first hand experience.
I have not not used gaslighting, or deflection, In anything I've said about you. You are the ones avoiding giving straight answers, bring in other arguments, (the "what about" defence doesn't wash), and making unfounded accusations, amongst other things. Me being an Aussie is irrelevant. My review is a result of my DIRECT contact with We R Blighty staff. You, going on the personal attack in the manner that you have, show a major lack of integrity and honesty. Using such tactics makes you look even worse than you did.

‘We r Blighty’ after I posted a review of your organisation you have asked for additional information…. There is no additional information the review says it all, you are a group of scumbag con artists who belong in jail for pretending to
raise money for military veterans but to date you have provided no proof that any money has reached any Veterans, you have pocketed all the money for yourself, your collectors use bullying tactics to raise money especially with the elderly who you see as easy targets!!

The negative reviews ARE coming from the Walter mittys hunters group, which is ran by and ran for tens of thousands of genuine ex servicemen and women. Us genuine veterans want to put a stop to scammers like ‘we R Blighty’. They are not a registered charity, but are registered as a CIC.

The majority of the donations go straight into the pocket of the street collector who are rarely ex servicemen and more likely to of been an ex con.

Ben Mills (director of We R Blighty) has tried numerous tactics to attempt to shut down the Walter Mitty group (which has exposed hundreds of people trying to use a fake military past for personal gain - the groups work has been used by police and the courts frequently) he has even tried to pay hackers to take down his information! However even hacker, after seeing the information decided that Ben Mills needs to be exposed.

The reason why you always see them standing on the boundary line of businesses, is that ex soldiers have a wide network and have contacted many, many businesses with evidence of the scam they are running so they have been BANNED from the majority of outlets. I personally made sure that they are banned from using all rail stations, hence why the street collectors stand just outside the station boundary.

I implore any person who thinks they may donate to use publicly available information and check out Ben Mills’s history of registering these CIC’s. He has tried many! He’s been bankrupt, but then illegally registered another, he usually shuts down the CiC as soon as accounts are due.

Please all, do not donate to these people, use your kind donations to help ex soldiers using an alternative genuine charity. Help the ex forces community get rid of these cons and when you see them, report them.

I have challenged the collectors when they claimed to be ex serving, they didn't have any credible details and became aggressive and rude. Regarding your promise to deal with such issues, I'm sceptical as one of the collectors pretending is your brother Louis Mills. Just read your reply, Haven't a clue what you're babbling on about, are you drunk ?

Very disappointing and offer very little or nothing to the Veteran community. A CIC which is profit driven with a small fraction towards those in need.

This misleads the public.

There was an aggressive fundraiser who was abusive towards me after I challenged him about his Service (the fundraiser claimed to be a Veteran).

If you see them, challenge them about having a permit to raise funds in public. They soon run off elsewhere.

They were very persistent and pressured me to make a donation immediately. I was hesitant, but they assured me that my contribution would make a significant difference. It was clear that the charity was more interested in lining their pockets than helping those in need.
I was disappointed and angry that I had almost fallen victim to this scam. It is important to be aware of these deceptive tactics and to do your due diligence before making any donations. I would urge others to be cautious and to only donate to reputable charities that have a proven track record of making a positive impact.

Very aggressive in taking funds. In your face when asked what they’re doing and just demand money. I was very polite and respectful but he eventually walked away
