Weibang Avis 55

Avoid these mowers. As an owner of a gardening company we bought 2 legacy pro 56 machines.
They were brilliant for a few months and then the drives on BOTH started to slow.
Took them back to jones and son for them to be repaired under “warranty” only to be told that the parts were not u see warranty. I swallowed the cost but when the machines came back to us with the new parts. The drives were still extremely slow.
The speed of the mowers is now half walking speed and using them is like watching paint dry.
I was persuaded to start using weibang due to the fact of the three year warranty and that they were built with such confidence that they should never go wrong.
The fact I have spent pushing £2500 on two mowers which after a year are now practically unusable for my business due to the speed of the mowers is so frustrating.
I use to use lawnflite pro and although the service costs were a lot at least they came back from the menders like a new machine.
I have googled the drive problem with weibang and it seems to be a command fault that not even the manufacturer is aware how to fix!

Don’t waste your money as a business or for personal use.

PURCHASED A WEIBANG 53 PRO BBC ,TOOK IT BACK BECAUSE OF BAD VIBRATION WHICH WAS DUE TO A FAULTY CLUTCH , GOT TOLD BY WEIBANG REP THAT I HAD HIT SOME THING AND BENT THE CRANK AND THEY WOULD NOT REPAIR UNDER WARRANTY,TO WHICH I TOLD THEM THAT I HAD NEVER HIT ANY THING IE ROCK,TREE STUMP ETC AND THAT IT WAS THE CLUTCH, AS THE MOWER WAS ONLY A MONTH OLD THE DEALER REPLACED THE CRANK OUT OF GOOD WILL AND LO AND BEHOLD IT TURNED OUT THAT IT WAS THE CLUTCH ,AND THEN THE DEALER TOLD ME THAT THEY HAD HAD ABOUT HALF THE ONES THEY SOLD BACK WITH CLUTCH PROBLEMS, THE REP NEVER GOT BACK TO ME TO APOLOGIZE OR EXPLAIN ABOUT THE PROBLEMS, I THINK THE REP WORKED FOR ROCHFORD GARDEN MACHINERY WHO ARE THE MAIN AGENT FOR WEIBANG MOWERS, THE 5 YEAR WARRANTY IS USELESS IF NOT HONOURED

Only had the Wei bang 56 legacy pro for a short while but very impressed with the build quality.

Not a commercial user but we have around 1/3 of an acre of lawns and I just blasted through all of that in about 35 mins.

Great results so far but time will tell on robustness.

I'm a Gardener by trade and had a few mowers over the years...On the recommendation of my dealer I decided to try a Weibang. I concluded this is a well built mower and can handle a heavy work load . Only problem was the grass box,its not well made because the base of the box is thin and weak. After it fell apart I returned it to the dealer and it was replaced under warranty.. Weibang is probably the best mower I've tried, a bit on the expensive side , but in my opinion worth it .

don't you dare believe there is 3 years commercial warranty , is bull&sh!t to convince you buy this mashine, i am proffesional user and bought pro mower, servicing every year, have it just over 2 years , self drive broken twice, must pay for repairs, as not fixed under warranty because of theirs "wearing parts" policy, actually whatever breaks could be classified as wearing parts , including any parts of drive system, DO NOT PROMISE 3 YEARS WARRANTY because YOU CAN NOT DELIVER, frustrated & disappointed customer

Bought weibang 48 pro model in sept2017...by may2018 both roller bearings had collapsed and the drive sprocket and chain had failed wearing an hole in the casing...gealer says the sprocket and chain damage is wear and tear and want 170 pound...will have tp pay it to get mower back so i can sell it on ebay to some other mug...DONT...I REPEAT DONT BUY ONE...

These machines are built to last and deliver a fabulous mow - can't fault the Weibang Legacy 56 PRO. Watch out Hayter these machines are giving you a good run for the money and if I'm honest they are far better and have addressed all the problems us contractors have been moaning about for years.

Was a bit concerned about buying a new scarifier from a Chinese company, they say it's designed for the UK, but it's difficult yo know if this is true before you buy. After spending a lot of time looking online, I went ahead and ordered a 384B unit. It has worked out excellent. The unit feels solidly constructed and the pre sales advice given to me by Lewis on the phone was great.

Weibang products are as well built as they say and I'm pleased with my purchase.

Dealt with a chap called Chris. I needed some pre-sales information in order to be able to choose the correct product, then ordered it via the phone, had to arrange for a Saturday delivery and finally had a follow up that all had been delivered correctly and no issues. Great service and communications throughout. Would happily look to use Weibang again.
