Whisky Investment UK Avis

From the day I received a wonderful surprise birthday gift of a cask of one of my favourite malts from my wife, I can not speak highly enough about this company.
The first day my wife contacted them regarding the purchase, she explained it was to be a surprise. And although there was plenty of admin to be done by the owner, (Me).. they worked superbly to keep the surprise a surprise until my Birthday. Once the day arrived & I received a cryptic clue as to what I'd been given & then the realisation I am now the proud owner of a cask, I contacted Darren as per the instructions. From that day the after sales service has been second to none. Superbly explaining the way forward & all the options you have in the future. Helpful is an understatement.

Thank you Darren & Carmen. (Oh and the wife).

I recently invested with Whisky Investment UK and couldn't be happier with my experience. Their team provided exceptional guidance and made the entire process seamless. The returns on my investment have exceeded my expectations, and I feel confident in their expertise. Highly recommend their services!

WIUK Helped me a lot regarding opening a private account at a warehouse and now have successfully had 2 out of my 3 casks bought from WIUK transfered via DO to my private account,

Also today Carmen has been very helpful explaining any questions and recommendations regarding questions I had with storage and insurance via private account so I fully understand what to do,

Darren has also been wonderful regarding to answer any questions I have regarding insurance for whisky casks, Order whisky barrel recommendations.

WIUK Provide a DO which is rare as most stockists and brokers don't give you a private account via DO, only a ownership certificate but WIUK can arrange for both if desired.

Great company definitely would recommend for anybody interested in whisky investment.

We attended a fabulous cask whisky event at The George Hotel, Edinburgh, put on by the team at
Whisky Investment UK.

It was such a well planned event - great layout and the food was superb.

Perfect opportunity to taste some of the older cask whiskies on sale.

The event wasn’t a sales push, just a great evening for whisky lovers to get together and learn more about our favourite topic.

Looking excitingly forward to the next event 🥃

I recently purchased a cask of whisky from Whisky Invest UK. Darren and his team where fantastic. They made the process unbelievably simple and went above and beyond.
I had some questions on storage, pricing ,cask types and certification. All my questions where answered quickly with added information. I would recommend anyone looking at investing in whisky to go to Whisky Investment UK. I will definitely be back. Thanks again Darren and the Team

What a great team Darren and Carmen. No pressure to sign. Very helpful during selection. Explanation how it all works.
This was my first investment with WIUK, but not my last.
Thanks again

This was my 3rd time buying a cask but 1st with WIUK, I mostly dealt with Darren who is really easy going, very quick in responding to questions and not pushy whatsoever, which I appreciate.
I will definitely be buying again from them soon and their Cask choice is great, catering to almost all budgets.

This is the second time I have purchased a whisky cask, but my first with Whisky Investment UK.
From the beginning of the process the communication from Darren and his team was exemplary and they were able to answer all of my questions thoroughly. All of the information given by the team matched completely with my due diligence and, in fact, in many areas went into far more detail.
In terms actually buying the cask Darren and his team did absolutely everything for me, therefore the process could not have been easier. Within a couple of hours I was able to buy a cask that I’ve been after for a while with all of the hard work done for me.
As mentioned, I have previously bought a cask with another company and dealt with a number of further companies while searching for my second cask, and I must say that buying through Whisky Investment UK was a far better experience, more informative and just downright friendly. I will not hesitate to use Darren and the team when I make my next purchase and can’t recommend them highly enough. Great work guys.

Darren and Carmen made this experience so easy, they advised us thoroughly every step of the way with this being our first cask purchase. Definitely won’t be our last. We had done our research on many whisky investment companies but Whisky Investment Uk had the most information, the best prices and a fantastic choice of casks.
Thanks to you both for all your patience and advice.

Excellent and and easy to work no pressure. Definitely be buying more
Many thanks darren .
Kind regards
John

As a whisky fan, I had been looking to buy a barrel for some time. After speaking with a number of companies I decided to buy an Islay whisky through whisky investment UK.

Lilly was our main point of contact, and she sent us several options to look over. We only live an hour away from their head office, so we decided to meet her in person.

I found Lilly to be very helpful and at no time was she pushy, unlike a couple of the other companies I had spoken to previously.

We also met the Office Manager Carmen who helped us with all the paperwork and dealt with the transfer of the barrel.

If you are looking to buy a barrel of whisky I would definitely recommend them for their customer service and their wide selection of whiskies.

First step into whiskey investment and could not wish for a better start. Dealing with Darren was so easy, he was informative and answered all my questions without fuss. The whole process was so easy to complete. Also thank you to Carmen who sorted out the admin side it has been a pleasure so much so we invested in our second cask.

I had heard about Whisky investment. Having emailed with Darren with no pressure to buy. As my requirement is for regular dividend rather than longer terms from 5 years I decided not to proceed and Darren agreed

Lots of options and budgets for potential investments and advice at hand from Darren

I invested in a speyside single malt cask and have just sold with a 16.5% increase in the value
Great way to make a profit

Thanks guys

My first venture into Whisky investment and I could not have hoped for a better partner than Whisky Investment UK and Darren in particular. They made the entire process smooth and simple for a first time investor like me and what more I have now made a 17% profit from a sale within the first year. Thanks team WIUK & Darren

I’m the proud owner of my very own cask of whisky and I have Darren and the team at Whisky Investment UK to thank for that. I’m extremely pleased with the whole experience. Darren is knowledgeable and patient. He explained how the process works simply, went over the different options on how to eventually sell the cask and answered all my questions. They have a wide selection to choose from to suit almost any budget. It put my mind at ease working with such a professional. In fact, two of my colleagues even jumped in on the action and also bought casks.

I was in contact with different company in the beginning and I felt like they didn’t give me much choice in what I wanted, didn’t listen to me about my budget and even a bit pushy… not Darren. I’m very happy with my choice and with whom I decided to do business with. I’d recommend them to anyone and I look forward to buying more casks in the future.

Thank you Darren and the team.

A great experience, easy to communicate, and was very upfront with the process from the first initial phone call, everything was explained with no hidden cost or info.

Having been in Scotland on the Whisky trail, I visited Tullibardine distillery with a view of purchasing a Cask.

I was informed that they dont sell direct to the public, so started to search for an intermediary. WIUK were not only the most competitive, but the most forthright with their pricing structure. Spoke to Darren Hughes, very informative, straight talking and no hard sales push. Really impressed with the seamless purchase on 18.8.23, so much so I bought two more casks in the following days. Darren kept me informed throughout the purchases, even though he was on Annual leave on the Continent ! Top
marks from me and will be my first point of call for my inevitable future purchases.

After searching several whisky companies online, I choose to go through Whisky Investment UK as I found them very easy to deal with. Not at all pushy they was very patient as this was the first time buying a whisky barrel. Been over a month and have had several updates.

A big thanks for our first whisky barrel purchase. We look forward to meeting you in Scotland this November. Cheers 🥃
