I ordered walking poles in good faith. Not cheap but a reasonable price. From the time I submitted the order I had problems . The 50p extra I paid for what I thought was priority delivery was in fact parcel protection. The 50p was taken but then I was charged again for an additional order which I didn’t make. I wrote via email to point this out and I have had 17 emails either thanking me for my second order or telling me I won’t be charged an extra 50p. I have been charged 50p and then had it reversed at least 7 times even after I’d received the poles ( a week after I’d ordered them not 72 hours as promised) . This is clearly an AI mess up. I dare not write a complaint to the company as they will respond inappropriately via AI. The product is fine but I won’t use this company again. Also, saying ‘Wow’ at the beginning of an email is infuriating when you’re trying to get answers to reasonable questions

Sadly, the 1 star reviews are spot on. Boots did arrive, but wrong size. They came from China and I am expected to pay for the return. They say that they only supply from China on rare occasions, but can’t be true. I also get a 50p charge on my credit card every day, followed by a refund, since I made the purchase. Don’t be fooled.

I would not give this site 1 star but that is the lowest I can give. This site is a scam. All the products are on Ali express at a fraction of the price they quote. I will challenge you to find a product on there website which is not avaiable on Ali express. If you are unfortunate enough to order from them in a rush without doing research because you did not have the time before your hiking date is here, they will not deliver your product in 3-7 days after dispatch. See the product is coming from China so no way is this possible.

Once you get your order, faulty items return postage costs are the buyers responsibility. The return is to a warehouse in China so the cost is £80‐£100 pounds, so for a refund of £89, it's not worth it. Thats how they avoid refunding.

PLEASE AVOID THIS SELLER AT ALL COST. USE GOOGLE LENS TO FIND OTHER SELLERS WHO SELL THE EXACT SAME PRODUCTS AT A FRACTION OF THE COST AND YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

Do not buy anything from this company.
Never received the items bought. I could only get a refund when I returned the item!! The return address was China.
Eventually after 2 months and 40 odd emails they reluctantly refunded me.
Set up as a UK / European company which it isn't! They are a fake Chinese company selling 3rd party goods.
Run a mile!!

Awful experience with this business. Ordered some hiking poles. They were poor quality. Returned them, but received the worst support around the process and spent significant money on posting back to China (though they represent as a European business). Package is stuck in customs. They aren’t helping or responding to emails. I’m over £100 out of pocket and at a dead end.

This has been shockingly bad as an experience with an online seller. I'm not sure whether it's a scam or not, but I am now circa £100 out of pocket for simply trying to return an inadequate item. I have posted on here already, so please feel free to read the detail. After following instructions from the mysterious Olivia at Wild Horizon I have returned the product (hiking sticks) at my own expense. It is now being held in customs and they say that custom duty needs to be paid.

Scam. No indication product is from China. It arrived late and needed returning. Return is at customers own cost- to Wuhan in China. Also everyday for over 2 weeks now, even after receiving the product, they attempted to take £0.50 parcel protection fee from my credit card and then didn't complete the transaction. Very distressing.

Not a company you want to bother with. Expect to wait 3 to 4 weeks for a counterfeit item and they’ve been attempting to take 50p from my acount and the reversing it everyday for weeks now. Just not worth the hassle they will cause you.

Do not buy the company is a scam!! Cheap materials and waste of money. UK based company as a front but the items coming from china promised to be delivered in 72 hours but it takes 2 weeks to arrive. No labels on my hiking top and bottom and my husbands was Juang Kuo brand. Do not trust!

Just had to ring my bank to block this company from constantly taking 50p and refunding 50p. I can’t see it on my bank app but guy at my bank can. So I’ve put a block on any further payments being taken. Glad I rang bank because if my jacket isn’t here by 25/07 they will start ball rolling to get my money back from this scamming company 🤬

Company is a scam…promotes 24 hour delivery and after payment when this is not the case, refused to cancel the order and said it will have to be returned. When product arrived some 2 weeks later from China it was very poor quality and also too late. Had to pay to return bulky product to China and I don’t expect to see any refund so will have to go through bank to get money back…wish I’d read these reviews first - and other users are right - positive reviews are very obviously bot generated.

Firstly, all of these positives reviews are bots. Ignore them.

This company is a scam. Their products are counterfeit, very poor quality and sent from China.

If you have bought anything from them you can request a refund through your bank or banking app. Most banks will do this without any issue provided you have waited at least 15 days. Dead easy.

Awful company - same comments as other negative reviewers. Product terrible and also in wrong sizes but I'm expected to cover costs to correct their error. T&Cs very misleading.

Wild Horizon is a fraudulent business, do not buy from them. We ordered a beige heated scarf, and paid extra for a faster delivery. Took four weeks to come, and when it arrived it was wrong colour, and completely different quality to the picture shown on their website.

Now if I want to return, or get this changed I have to pay £45-£75 to send it back to China, and will only receive a refund once it arrives back to their supplier.

This is an AI created website, one person in customer service - Olivia - nobody answers telephone, no stock in UK, yet they offer 30 day returns policy, but you have to pay for the return.

Don’t buy from them.

Avoid at all costs complete scammers. Ordered a pair of boots and as soon as I received confirmation I contacted customer services immediately within minutes to change address as the address is incorrect. Olivia who is the one and only operator advised it was too late. Boots obviously coming from China and gone past the delivery date and no sign and no way of tracking a UK courier. Companies like this need to be close down . All their 5 star reviews are fake written by a bot so obvious 😂please do not order from this company

scam website. products from china. sadly did not look at trust pilot before ordering and have paid ALOT for a potentially lousy hat. still waiting for it to arrive weeks later. realising positive reviews are not real!

Same as every other GENUINE reviewer. All products are coming from Wuhan, though they only tell you this when you try to return an item. Funny how all their 5 star Trustpilot reviews are in all June 2025 and all "perfectly" written. Their 10,000+ reviews on their own website are all one liners by exactly the same structure of username. AI bot has been very busy 😡

This company is a complete con. It’s not British based as it purports, it does not have a warehouse here and it does not accept returns. Therefore it does not refund as stated on their website. I ordered a sleeping bag and it was not at all as described, badly sewn, smaller and not as warm as advertised. If you trust this company for your outdoor essentials, I actually think you will be putting your comfort and possibly your lives at risk. ‘Olivia’ (customer services) does not reply to emails. Any returns need to go back to Wuhan where you need to pay your own postage and pay import charges and wild horizon know it is unfeasible! It’s a complete scam.

Any reviewer on here or their own website who has given them a good review should not be trusted. Their website is completely ai generated including all reviews.

This is not a European based company but a Chinese one (returns address is Wuhan). Reviews are fake, the phone number doesn’t work, if you email them they don’t respond. Neither do you receive your goods within 4-7 days from despatch. They only respond to Trust Pilot.
I ordered a sleeping bag which is not the advertised 3-4 season and shorts, both cheap fabric and not fit for purpose and received today, 2 weeks after ordering.
Their returns policy states the customer needs to pay for returning goods that originate from outside of Europe. However it seems that everything is made in and shipped from China but not stated on the website. They also have an equivalent website in France.
I emailed a few days ago to complain and have heard nothing. Perhaps “Olivia” would like to respond here as I’m taking this up with my bank.
