As to the chimes themselves, not up to the Woodstock standard I am used to with the rest of my Gregorian Chant wind chimes. Google revealed that the company was sold to a homewares outfit and now the chimes are made in China.

They sound just as good as the originals but they are described as silver in colour but whereas the originals were polished alloy and looked stunning, these are brushed aluminium which detracts from the visual appeal.

Still, if I look the other way, the sound is excellent and the woodwork does seem to be as good as the original US made items.

Just bought a second set of Joshua bells. Gorgeous sound, beautifully made and quick service. I love them for ceremonial occasions and prayer. They make such a lovely gift!

Unfortunately the item I ordered wasn’t in stock, so there was a delay in dispatch. I had an email with an apology and explanation in a timely manner. The recipient was delighted.
