Wine Republic Avis 

Despite an initial hiccup supplying my order the company more than compensated with good will and communication

I ordered 2 bottles of wine on 3 June 2023 and paid £8.95 for Standard Shipping 2-3 days and received email confirmation to this effect.

By 8 June I'd heard nothing further so enquired by email as to the status of the order.

By 21 June I had still heard nothing so sent a message via their website, again asking the status of the order.

At 08:35 28 June I received 2-emails from APC couriers advising me that the package would be delivered within an hour, and it was.

The failure of Wine Republic to respond to my two requests for information - without even so much as an acknowledgement of receipt - is poor. Having been led to believe by their original email order confirmation that the wine would arrive within 2-3 days, and with no further communication from them, I spent over 3 weeks fearful that something had gone seriously amiss with my order ... and my money!

I don't need that sort of uncertainty in my life so won't purchase from Wine Republic again.

Had the wine I needed at a competitive price and fast delivery

Range of wines on offer vs other similar competitors. Always receive wine deliveries per allotted day/time slot of my choice.

Great wine, shame the price was not a little lower.

One bottle of wine missing from order, one vintage substituted with no prior discussion/ agreement. 3 emails sent to email listed in terms and conditions. No response. Tried using the contact form online, no response. No other form of contact available, so will have to start the onerous process of a paypal claim. It’s a real shame and a pity.

Sent the wrong wine and didn’t respond to 2 requests to replace or return….

Changed the bottles ordered without telling me

One bottle was out of stock, so they called me to make sure I was happy with a suggested replacement.
Order arrived quickly and well packaged.

Well, when only half my order turned up, due to stock shortage, you were kind enough to ring me back and explain the situation. And you had thought about Coronation Weekend, which was what my order was for, and sent what you had at that time.

Delivery was prompt, and personalised

A good choice of wines at a wide variety of prices. The order came within 3 days and in a well packaged box. All order was correct and so far of very good quality.

I ordered wine on April 22 and expected that it will be delivered me during the next 2-3 days according with conditions are announced on the website. In addition, I left comment that it is very important for me to receive this wine during the next 2-3 days because it had to be a gift for my friend. But only after 3 days company sent me message that my order had been dispatched, I asked to cancel my order and refund the money because it completely did not correspond to the delivery times indicated on the site and my comment on the order but after more than one week I still don’t have any response on my requests and e-mails, I also tried to call them by the phone number from the website and left message but it is also doesn’t have any response.

Got what I ordered, paid for standard delivery and it came next day 👍🏻

Been a member of their wine club since September and always look forward to receiving my monthly box. Only problem is the box never lasts me a month! 😆

Great selection of Fine Wines, I use them a lot as you can't get their selection in many other places. Always comes earlier than expected with a free South Wales delivery! Amazing.
