No taste at all

Why are the wings absolutely drenched in sauce that have no flavour whatsoever? What’s that about?

First time ordering from the Norbury branch and I won’t ever order again. I wish I read the reviews before purchasing. Do not waste your money…

its not worth it

if you want a completely different meal from what you ordered these are the guys! i ordered a chicken burger, i got a beef burger. there isnt even a beef burger ON THE MENU. how does that actually happen. i also wanted plain chicken bites, they arrived covered in the spiciest sauce they offered.

Food was really really good

Food was really really good. Burgers, loaded fries and wings were lovely. Great food and arrived in the time frame. Would definitely order again

Bad experience …

I ordered from Wingdrop several times and the food was good to start off with. But I made an order to be delivered to my home. When I check it it was saying delivery address was my work. I tried to call them, but there was no number. So I cancelled it. They changed me the whole£23 even though I reordered with in 7mins of cancelling. I find them to be very disappointing and dishonest. I will never order from them again and have told my family not to order nothing from them again.

BOYCOTT

I ordered once from this place and it was brilliant, perfectly as advertised. Now, before you look at my star rating for this please prepare for what you are about to read ahead.
I ordered again today, only for every item that we ordered to not be as advertised from Deliveroo, if you changed the menu please update Deliveroo. The boneless bites, as I ordered before, were large, filling and tasty. The ones that were ordered today were tiny, not-filling, and disgusting. They were very similar in size to popcorn chicken, whereas before they were about 1/2 - 3/4 of a tender. Absolute rip off.
Boycott this shit place.

Absolutely disgusting from Worthing…

Absolutely disgusting from Worthing Wingdrop.
It’s my son’s birthday and he specifically ordered this for himself. We ordered at 6.10pm, all was going well until the app repeatedly told us there was no delivery driver available. I contacted customer support who advised that there was no one willing to come to us (a bloody 9 minute drive!). We offered to go and collect and they said no. Over an hour later my partner drove to the shop to be told that they wouldn’t release the food and that a new driver was on the way.

The food arrived at 8.20pm INEDIBLE. Everything was freezing cold and wet, the chips over soggy and the wings inedible because they had clearly been sitting out for 2 hours!!. Impossible to speak to anyone and when you do they are from Uber eats and unhelpful.
We had to throw the whole bag away and my son had to have my dinner, so I have gone without. Thanks for messing up his birthday….
I wouldn’t touch uber eats or Worthing Wingdrop if you actually want to eat.
I will be requested a refund!

Really disappointed with my experience…

Really disappointed with my experience with Wing Stop Telford. There’s no contact number to call, so when my order arrived with missing items, there was no way to get anything replaced. The food I did receive was poor quality — the wings looked nothing like the photos and honestly came looking anemic and unappetising.

After the fact, I checked other reviews and realised many people have had similar issues. If I’d seen them beforehand, I wouldn’t have ordered at all. Terrible service, no accountability, and very low-quality food. Won’t be ordering again.

Wing Drop drop the ball!

They're not doing very well, are they? Wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered as, magically, they have excellent reviews on Just Eat.

So, after a long, hard day doing manual labour, I was too tired to cook and VERY hungry, so decided to order from Wing Drop, Oxted for the first time and this was a 7.25pm. Estimated delivery time was 8.05pm. When the food still hadn't arrived at 8.20, I decided to chase on JustEat. The virtul assistant said it would get an update from Wing Drop. 5 minutes later it said it could not get an update (there were no updates on the app either). Offered me a phone number for the restaurant, but it turned out this was JustEat's number and they don't take calls from customers, referring you to their virtual assistant.

After getting no more help and the time now 8.45 (and my insides literally eating me alive by this point), I got an update saying the food had been delivered, but it hadn't! After some research, found out that this is one of 4(!!) restaurants in the same premises operating under Hamsey's Burgers. Phone them and they denied ever having received an order from JustEat. Asked them if I could place an order with them now over the phone and they said no as they were closing!! Very suspicious, if you ask me.

Given other people's reviews, this is looking like a bit of a scam! Have complained to JustEat, but it is by email and they only say they'll respond in 3 days (and if they offer me account credit instead of my money back, I may well hit the wall (virtually speaking!).

My recommendation - avoid this chain (and JustEat) at all costs, cos it WILL cost YOU!

I made an order tonight after working 15 hour shift, incredibly tired and hungry.
They accepted my order, and I was given an estimate delivery of 35 minutes. This changed to 45. Then to an hour. Then I stopped getting updates all together, until an hour and 30 minutes had gone by where I was told the courier was on the way to collect my food. When he arrived, the restaurant WAS CLOSED and then cancelled my order.

I know there are far worse things in life than a takeaway going wrong but I so rarely get them, and wanted to treat myself after a long day and to be faced with this.

They very easily could have declined the order, or updated my sooner to cancel so I could have gone elsewhere for my food.

Sorry for the rant, like I said, I am aware there is worse things than can happen but I wanted to alert other people in case they wanted to give them a try.
I believe they operate out of the kitchen in Harbourfields, as do several other places - which is clearly not working.

I ordered from the Colney heath branch

I ordered from the Colney heath branch, and the food was almost inedible! It looked NOTHING like the photos on uber eats, even down to the packaging. I ordered the chicken bites and they looked like what could have been cheap frozen chicken nuggets with a bit of bbq sauce thrown on the top, £20 worth of food, money completely wasted. Do not order from here!

Stay well clear of this takeaway

My son had the same experience last night 08/10. Placed the order and paid and the food didn't arrive. He contacted Just Eat and they have been useless, there are no contact details available for the "shop". This is looking like a scam. Due to the poor service and lack of response I am going to take further advice to look at theft and / or fraud.
