I live in Plymouth and absolutely rate SOBE in Plymouth. While working in Bristol I decided to order from deliveroo not thinking anything of it. It was disgusting, and nothing like sobe I tasted before. Upon investigation there sobe came from a kebab house? And it was basically a cheap frozen chicken fillet. Even the chips were terrible and covered in black crap. The fryer clearly needs cleaning. Was actually really difficult to chase down where my delivery came from. It should be criminal!! Big shame as I've always been so loyal to them.

Kitchen Waste extra delivery

I have ordered many times before but this took the mickey. I had my order plus a box of Kitchen waste which after going through Justeat I managed to contact the store. They said it was someone's food by mistake. It was off cooked crabstick. Off Frankfurters. Burnt red onion and peppers. Greenford Franchise aka Chicken Guys. I felt sick.

SoBe Burger in Braintree Essex. Ordered through Uber Eats, they managed to get 2 out of 7 items correct. The biggest mistake was the Vegan burger was meat. It does not help you can not call the restaurant, probably why no care goes into it. The food that was correct was disappointing.

Con, theft, disgusting, No refund offered. Pushing my complaint to very department possible.

Seriously poor experience -AVOID

Seriously a poor experience with overcooked, dry, bland and dire food (with frankly and absolute howler of a bun)
They sell the dream on the website but quite honestly the worst burger I have ever had in Cheltenham.
With the burger scene being exceptional in Cheltenham with Holee Cow and others, this outfit can ill afford to sit on their laurels.
Personally I would avoid at all costs unless they address the quality issues rapidly.
Order delivered by Deliveroo on the 12th April ( O/No 2463)
Expect this not to be read, but feel that my Sunday treat was a waste of time and have been robbed in broad daylight.

Worst experience I have ever had for a take away.

my burger was dripping in fat and one bite was enough. An apparent treat for the family has turned into a disaster. The only thing that was edible out of the whole order was the chips.
The restaurant details for Sobe are non existent even on their website and can’t write reviews either on website ( I wonder why).
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Order from Gosport Sobe. Most the order was missing. No contact number for the company or placed used. Have to wait for just eats to hopefully refund. As no way to dispute with Sobe directly.

Scam! Ordered never arrived

Ordered almost £30 worth of food on the Just Eat app. Order confirmed, waited and hour, Just Eat app says delivered. Food never turned up. Theres no number for the restaurant.
Absolute scam.

What an amazing burger experience

What an amazing burger experience - went to the Plymouth one a couple of weeks ago and we were delighted by the whole thing - friendly staff, excellent system of ordering and most importantly wonderful food - best fast food experience in a long long time - thank you!

I went there on the date of Saturday 17th of January in the evening went witj my cuzin to the branch in Ealing there were 2 staff members working on shift and took forever to make the food I was in the shop for more then an hour after paying and still no food came I got angry and demanded a refund which then put me in a spot where I had no money left in my account and was made to wait for a refund after 3 days also within the tension of me getting angry I saw the staff drop the food on the floor and then picked it up made it look like it didnt drop and handed it to a customer I made the customer aware too

Not SoBe - Ghost kitchens with zero customer service

Ordered food today from SoBe Hampton, however after nearly 1 hour the food had not turned up. App showed "delivered" but it was not. Delivery driver stated it had to be taken back to the restaurant and to ring them.
Called the restaurant and the person I spoke to on the phone was a complete numpty. Made zero sense and kept telling me to contact SoBe. Turns out they use Village Grill to fulfill their orders in the area (dont disclose that anywhere) No offer of help, support or more importantly Food. £40 out of pocket trying to get the money back from the ordering platform whilst making some toast.

Don't usually try new food places as they are usually a complete let down. Well done SoBe for cementing that theory.

Not worth it, bad quality

Ive ordered from this place several times. In the beginnning when they first opened - the food was ok. I ordered a chicken burger for my mother once & for the rest of the family we ate regular smash burgers. My mother had severe food poisoning that same evening (vomiting all night and the following day) - By mistake i ordered again earlier in Dec 2025 (with my father) - the quality was terrible, im not sure where they source their chicken but it is either very low quality or frozen for years it was inedible & i wouldnt even feed it to my dog. My parents are in their 70's.... My younger brother also ordered a smash burger more recently, he explained to me that it was burnt to a crisp and tasted like charcoal.... very disappointing on all 3 occasions. Order with caution from this establishment.... i called to complain about the quality of the most recent order, the staff offered to prepare another burger to replace the order we were unhappy about, i did not accept this nor did i want a refund - i would never order from this place again.Quality is terrible and we were served food poisoning on two occasions. Be careful- especially if you are ordering for older folks.... disappointing and dangerous. Tbh

Meat was off

We had two burgers of them . Buy one get one free offer. The meat was off and disgusting. We could not get a refund from Uber eats. I wonder how Uk legislations allow such things.

Missing food

Spent nearly £70 on 4 meals, one had the chicken tenders missing and no dips with any of the meals.
When i contacted deliveroo customer service they said there was insufficient evidence!! When you spend so much on a takeaway at least get the order right.

Mealsy portions, overpriced rubbish!

Delivery with Deliveroo was late and the food was cold. The portion size was measly, so small like a kids portion. Shocking how you can charge what you do for the sorry looking burgers you send out. Literally 2 chicken tenders in a burger bun, arrived cold and hardly any filling. Wings were so bad, cold and hardly any meat on them! Everything just dumped into a burger box. Dont order from here, save your money!

Wrong order/ disgusting burgers

Wrong order, burgers were disgusting. Completely agree with other reviews, feel like i have been scammed. Usually check reviews but didn't as too far into the christmas spirit, instant regret. Needs closing down.
