I highly recommend World of discoveries, we travel with them for the Russia 2018 World Cup, and we were really impressed with them, they are incredible! professional, courteous, they always showed on time, the tours were great! the guides were amazing, very professional, and knowledgeable, we had a great time, and we are looking forward to traveling again with World of discoveries to Qatar 2022, We are sure we are going to have a great time.

Great World Cup experience! No hassle, no confusion, a very well run weeks of adventure. Everything was excellent and especially the transportation to and from the football game. Given we were visiting not one but 4 different and big cities in a country where English was not spoken, I can say The way our trip was handled definitely enhanced the whole experience for us. Enjoyed the country, enjoyed great matches, enjoyed great people!

F1 Qatar GP. It was my first post-covid travel and the World of Discoveries team did it great. Super hotel, very good grandstand seat position, which was very important to me. Qatar is a wonderful country with lots to see and do outside the circuit activities. I really enjoyed the desert experience. The side trip to UAE was brilliant as well and everything was smoothly planned. Thank you for the marvellous experience! Looking forward to Monaco GP and FIFA Football World Cup Qatar with you!

The Euro 2020 (in 2021) football championships were different for so many reasons, with all the travel restrictions making it difficult to travel between countries. 3 friends and I were able to take the chance to visit St Petersburg in Russia to see multiple games in one location and check out a new country we had never been to before. The team at World of Discoveries helped us organise everything we needed to enter Russia with the fan id and extra things to entertain us between matches while we were there. We would never have known what to do or where to go. They made our trip safe and organised so we had no trouble getting around exploring and meeting the other sports fans in town.

During the recent Euro's i was desperate to be there in person to return to England to support my team. It was not easy to make such a trip so I decided to use a travel company and I am so glad I did. They knew everything I needed to do to make the trip happen in time at relatively short notice. What an amazing opportunity to be a part if it. They looked after me with all my questions and made sure I had a great time. I will definitely be travelling with them again.

We booked a tour for Euro 2020, in July 2021, tickets, accommodation, Hermitage and Cathedrals tour, all A++++.

I just booked my trip to go to Qatar for the next world cup to follow my team Mexico again like I did in Russia. It was so much fun to travel with my fellow Mexicans the last time so I couldn't wait to go again and book it early. These guys had great packages to choose from and helped me to get the right one for me. They listen and gave advice as they knew everything about it.

I was lucky enough to go on a tour to the world cup in Russia to follow my team and experience the vast country. Watching the games in Kazan, Samara and the highlight in Sochi. It was such an amazing time with the whole group. Everyone on the trip were so friendly. I especially enjoyed the chance to explore Moscow and St Petersburg as additions. The night-life was so much fun and just more than I expected. Would definitely recommend and hope to go again to the next world cup for more memories that I will never forget

I travelled to Russia for the world cup in 2018 and absolutely loved it, so many added experiences along the way made it truely a trip to remember. I had never been to Russia previously so I wanted to use a company I could trust, my planner helped build my customised trip with extra touches to make it special. Each city had so much more to offer than I expected. The planning from the team was first class with the transportation and accomodation perfect for what I needed. Looking forward to travelling and exploring again.

What a trip ... the World Cup, five cities, amazing camaraderie, and great tour leadership against the background of one of the globe’s most amazing countries ... Russia. My World Cup tour with Discovery Russia was one of the great experiences of my travel life. The Discovery Russia team provided a wonderful platform with an itinerary both practical and flexible. The local tours in each of the venue cities - Moscow, Kazan, Samara, Sochi and St Petersburg were informative and, importantly, fun. Considering the accommodation pressures created by the huge influx of Cup tourists, the hotels selected by Discovery Russia were more than adequate. Special mention goes to the Grand Hotel Tchaikovsky In St Petersburg. The tour leadership provided by the company was both expert and considerate. Importantly each traveller’s individual enjoyment and safety appeared to be the paramount consideration. This World Cup holiday was meant to be a “once-in-a-lifetime” experience for me but I am now planning for the next Cup. Bring on 2022 in Qatar!

I planned this 4-weeks private adventure from Russia’s capital to the very Far East and further to Japan for a few years and was finally able to complete the journey back in October 2019. I always travel solo and this time, I guess, I saw more than I could have ever imagined. World of Discoveries planned every detail and were able to handle even last –minute changes. It happened when I missed my train from Krasnoyarsk to Irkutsk. Not their fault at all, I got late from bar crawling. They rebooked me with no fuss & no penalty to the next available train the same day even rearranged the itinerary so I was still able to see what was planned for me in the next city, Irkutsk. My guide had to work late in the evening, she was totally lovely. I found locals to be ver y friendly and my guides experienced with international travelers. Great customer service! I changed my imagination of Russia and its people a lot.
The culture, the people, the nature, the history, the architecture, the nightlife..Many people call the Trans Siberian an epic trip and it is so. I want to thank personally Sergey in Perm, Jenya in Moscow, Anton in Krasnoyarsk, and of courde Elena in Vladivostok. My side trip to Altai took 10 amazing days to complete and that were the best ever 10 days of my camping/adventure travels. Roman was the best camping/mountain guide ever. Thank you so much guys, to all of you! 5 stars! I wish you luck during the current travel crisis. Can't wait for borders to open again.

The Highlights of the Caucasus tour was brilliant - from places of extraordinary beauty to ancient cultural traditions, it had a little bit of something for everyone.

As a 30 something frequent traveller who had not yet visited this part of the world, i was able to travel with peace of mind thanks to the professionalism and experience of World of Discoveries, who were clearly experts in travel in the Caucasus! I was travelling solo so it was brilliant to be able to meet and develop friendships with other like minded travellers. The people definitely added to this tour!

This tour is called the Highlights of the Caucasus for a reason! It is impossible to pick one highlight! From Lake Sevan to Kazbegi Mountain; from the amazing food and wine in Armenia; to Georgia and a cable car ride up to the fort to watch the sunset and enjoy a beer in a small cafe overlooking beautiful Tbilisi; to Baku’s medieval palaces which are incredible. The whole tour was an unforgettable experience!

I have travelled much of Europe so distance and travel time has never been a bother for me. This tour redefined travelling in comfort, with a 51 seat coach for 16 people, so long days on the road were never an issue and of course the excellent banter with the other travellers helped!

Our tour guide and local guides were all fantastic and full of knowledge of the area!

I have been on many small group tours and this was one of the best! I would not hesitate to recommend and will be back to travel with this company again in the future.

I'm planning to travel to Europe the end of next year, and hoping that there are no travel restrictions. I came across this website and inquired about the different packages. I found my representative very informative and passionate. She asked me what kind of experience I was looking for, and then gave me options. I had a lot of questions regarding covid and travel, and she put my mind at ease. I'm excited about my trip coming up and I would definately would reccommend World of Discoveries for your next holiday.

We wanted a personalized custom vacation to a rarely visited area of the world and found World of Discoveries tour of Armenia and Georgia fit just perfectly. Very well organized and planned, and guides were awesome.
Our tour guides in both countries were packed with knowledge of architecture and cultural
history, but above all they were friendly and helpful. Rafik in Armenia even took us to his parent’s home in the centre of Yerevan and we enjoyed home-made meals and talks with the locals. It was a very special evening.
Be prepared for some long journeys to reach the most exciting destinations in both countries.

Georgia in autumn!
We had a wonderful trip - one that will stay with us for a long time. Everything was so well organized. All our guides were very informative, and accommodations were just fine. Pre-tour service was very good too and we had travel a lot. My husband’s grandparents are from Georgia and we wanted to explore family routes. All our guides were great in terms of looking after us and they really were so interesting to speak to. Altogether, we had a wonderful time and I would love to explore more of the region and visit neighboring counties.

Trans- Scandinavian train tour on a private, September 2019 

I’s looking for a train trip around Scandinavia and found it was not widely available option with many operators.  Mostly, they do coach tours or cruises.  World of Discoveries was the first company which offered a solution, a privately arranged non-escorted train trip tour for our small party of just 6 people. We are experienced travelers in our early 40th and always want to be immersed in the culture of a new country, eat local food, meet the people.

 

We  wanted  an authentic experience and it was a great trip all round. We did not have to worry about  our accommodation, or train tickets, or activities in various locations.  We  had our transfers to and from hotels pre-arranged.

 

Guides provided great insight into Scandinavian culture and were undeniably helpful as we all had different ideas about spare time and extra activities.  We went out at every visited city and they gave us lots of great recommendations.  Could have stayed for more!

 

Would love the same experience when we visit other, less traveled and remote parts of the world with  World of Discoveries!
