Woodforest National Bank Avis 

I have been a long time customer with Woodforest bank over 17 years. I have a checking and reli overdraft protection with this bank. They closed my checking account without contacting me about the closure and I tried to reopen the account with my old account number and was unable to. Avoid this bank at all cost.

I've been banking at the wood forest branch Rock hill SC
4875 old York rd. For 15 years, and today I had the manager tell me to SHUT UP or she would close my account! This is unacceptable!!!
I'm not going into the long details of what happened but lets just say you have a bunch of inept people working this branch!! When it takes 30 minutes to cash a check something is terribly wrong! This is the second time in one week that it has taken them 30 minutes to cash my check, with trainee tellers that have NO Business working at a Bank!! Needless to say , I WILL NOT be banking at this branch until this manager is fired or moved to a different location!!!

After having numerous businesses declined my debit card with Woodforest. I did call and was of no help because they kept telling me that there are no holes or anything on my card which I already knew. I was told my last transaction went through, which is true, but the one that I just Processed was declined. In Indianapolis, there seems to be quite a few businesses that have this issue and no, it’s not the business. I believe it’s an IT issue with Woodforest. For some reason they ignore it so I’m forced to find a better bank. Thank you.

Their customer service could improve by having better fraud protection and an actual 24/7 hotline.

My bank account was compromised, Shakeena Bellinger at the Stroudsburg, Pa branch went above and beyond to help me, she was knowledgeable and caring, leading me step by step what to do, she is a credit to your company.

I have been with the Woodforest Bank in Wylie Tx. The people are always very helpful and very friendly. They always address problems that may come up with professional curtsey. They feel like family.

I've been with Woodforest for many years & highly recommend them. One hiccup, which was really more of a misunderstanding since 2017, so I can't complain! I only wish we had more branches in Texas. I moved here from Ohio where they are in almost every Walmart (which is why I chose them - convenience with my former work schedule) and here I have to drive 70 miles to the branch. I will say though, on the rare occasion I have to travel to the branch in Mexia, they have been extremely kind and helpful.

The bank is GREAT, alway has charity events going on. Friendly and very nice employees, the kind that remember your name and are happy to see you and help you out. Bank is TOP CHOICE for all your banking needs. Yall are # 1!!!!

I am not disclosing location. But I've banked with woodforest for a very long time And I always have good experiences. But today, I walked up to one person ahead of me while 2 workers waited behind a door. Another lady then walked up and waited behind the 2 of us. The ladies came out from behind the door and the first lady helped the first customer in line. The manager then helped the 3rd lady in line, who was behind me. I don't care who you are this is a business and good customer service matters. If anything it's called plain decency. Please do better. She may be a regular but so am I. I have been banking with woodforest for over a decade. Is it not first come, first serve anymore?

Woodforest in Ofallon, IL needs help. They have 3 workers. they are nice people and work hard but they were also complaining about being tired and working open to close daily.

I've been a loyal customer been banking with them a refer my family and kids... But for them to charge you to transfer money for your savings to checking it's a service fee for your own money to where I'm paying 140 in service fee this is ridiculous and outrage. They don't care about customer because charge you for your own money

Christine ZERIGUE at the amite branch was very good with helping me she is really nice and polite she was able to do all I needed

These people were supposed to close my account after we filed a dispute and lost all our money causing scammers to get all of our money again! The could care less about their customers!

I had a merchant to steal money from my account. I provided proof of the charges from the merchant. Woodforest only sided with the merchant to keep from crediting me back my hard earned worked money. I use to be a valued member. This bank is TRASH!

Was short changed by $50. I will close my account on Monday and go elsewhere. I have been banking there for many many years, not any more.

I have been a customer since 2020, my local branch is in York SC. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

I absolutely loved Valerie Delabruere she’s was very helpful and such a sweet person she’s absolutely the best!!!

I've been with Wood Forest in Ohio for yrs now and have absolutely no complaints at all. They have always been accommodating and friendly. They all know me and I look forward to our interactions.

They are always kind ,help ful ,quick and fix problems so much better then last employees and far and above her job is Nickie she is awesome

I have been with Woodforest bank for 5years, I’ve had 2 unauthorized transactions and the bank would not refund me any of my money back! I had $700 stolen through cash app, they denied the claim saying I had did transactions through cash app before, not to the thief, but because I used it! I closed cash app, no longer use that. Now,I’m battling PlayStation charges, over a hundred and something dollars. My daughters account was hacked, I was watching the transactions and couldn’t turn my card off as I should be able to! Went to the bank, filed a dispute and was denied again. I had to call Sony and have her account unlocked, her online id and passcode was changed by who ever the thief was. I am 51 and work for an insurance company, we try to pay ppl there hard own money back, not deny them! I’m looking to file a complaint outside of the bank. Thinking about contacting the media, just at my age, I like to keep things simple! Oh, I called in after I got this decision and got a manager who told me she wanted to see me get my money back and to dispute it because the same thing happened to her with her kids, we’ll see what happens, if not I’m calling 12 on your side or channel 6 investigators.
