Hi, as discussed with you, your order is well within the delivery times we show on our website. Your order had been processed packed and is with thousands of other parcels ready for collection by the courier today, hence our inability to cancel at the point you contacted us, but you are more than welcome to return once you receive the item. It would literally have taken 8-10 hours to go through all the parcels in the dispatch bay, which is surely understandable?

Absolutely a waste of time and very BAD SERVICE!

Absolutely a waste of time and very poor customer service.

I ordered goggles, waited ages for delivery, and they sent the wrong item a pair of glasses instead. THEIR EXCUSE, OUT OF STOCK! So they sent something I did not want! I emailed to complain and also spoke to someone called “Liam” today, but my concerns were completely ignored.

I explained that I am disabled and live in a rural area, so getting to a post office is extremely difficult for me. Despite this, they still expect me to return their mistake before issuing a refund, without even properly explaining how the wrong item was sent in the first place.

I even had to embarrassingly explain my personal situation over the phone because of their incompetence. Communication has been impossible like talking to two planks of wood.

Very disappointing experience from start to finish.
No wonder you have 22% Negative Feedback here!

Hi Ritchie, we're sorry you received an incorrect item this was packing error to which we have apologised for and actioned for the item to be returned back to us.

Regarding your complaint for poor customer services we responded to yourself straight away and provided a returns label, you then got in touch advising you can't return the parcel due to your circumstances therefore we arranged for Royal Mail to collect the parcel from you.

We understand the item is incorrect to which we have raised with Portwest as this was sent direct from their warehouse, however speaking with them they did not send this item to replace the other being out of stock this was a genuine mistake by packers on their side.

The person you spoke with on the phone advises there was no lack of communication from our side as we simply advised we would arrange Royal Mail to collect which we have actioned and you then proceeded to loose your composure and subsequently you hung up, we have since emailed you again to confirm Royal Mail are collecting the parcel, we're sorry this has some how escalated out of hand for an incorrect item being sent which is human error and we've apologised for.

Is this a scam ! !

Been a week and a half now. I keep looking on Evri for updates but it still says Evri is still waiting for my order ( tuffstuff trousers)
I’ve tried to contact workwear nation Limited with no reply at all by Email
And asked for a refund very poor service would never use these ever again.

Boots desintegrated after 8 months.

I purchased SolidGear safety boots expecting durability and reliability to match the £220 price tag. After fewer than eight months of fairly standard use-nothing extreme or outside normal working conditions-the boots began to fail in multiple areas. The sole started separating from the upper, which quickly worsened to the point where water started seeping in. Communication was good and I sent the boots back and got told it's fair wear&tear. (a pair of Caterpilars last close to 2 years in my work) Apparently, quote: 'the price tag does not reflect how long they will last'. Would not purchase from this company again.

Hi Robert, as previously discussed, we have sent these to the manufacturer for their expert opinion. The soles are showing serious wear, to the point that some parts are flat. Solid Gear sell thousands of this particular boot throughout Europe and they have not seen this issue.

The below is their response:-

We have looked at the boots and rejected this claim unfortunately. The soles are extremely well worn at the back down to the material underneath.

We cannot accept this as a fault claim and is down to wear and tear.

Ordered two pairs of gloves from Workwear Nation unfortunately one pair had a manufacturing fault and were not of a good standard. I emailed to advise of the fault and Liam who was really lovely and sent two replacement pairs straight away which were just right.
Very pleased with the gloves and the excellent customer service, would highly recommend.

2 orders never received

2 orders, 1 never shipped and 1 did however got lost with courier. Not going to bother a 3rd time. Staff on phone were supposed to check and call me back but been waiting for 2 weeks and nothing, granted it’s been Xmas but not even an email at any point. 3 strikes your out I say, refund again.

You spoke to a member of our staff during Christmas however our office staff were off for majority of Christmas and just our warehouse operating every day throughout who only have limited access to our systems, we apologise for the issue with the courier and we have now issued the full refund for you as requested. Hi Julie, your order was due to be dispatched directly from Regatta on 5-8 working days delivery however during the picking process you put a cancellation request in, we got in touch with Regatta to cancel this however they advised as the order was already in picking this couldn't be cancelled however this had caused some confusion in their warehouse and eventually the order was able to be recalled, however there was no payment dispute opened by yourself we can see this was manually refunded on our side once we had confirmation the order was recalled by Regatta.

Order not received

Placed an order and paid for delivery, should've arrived 3-5 days. I contacted after 7 days and told they hadn't got them in stock but they would be in that day and sent out. 13 days now and I've contacted again to see where the order is and just received a reply saying the stock is due by then end of the week then will be sent out afterwards.

Ordered a pair of dewalt work boots 80…

Ordered a pair of dewalt work boots 80 quid took over 2 weeks to turn up have worn dewalt for the last 5 years and never a problem but after 6 weeks my new boots a falling apart I work on and off site in a hgv the front has come away from sole and have a split across where all I can think is wet and dry in and out cab of truck leather split by the steel emailed workwear nation and sent pictures told me they can’t be same boots if they are I’ve abused them comical and they won’t help out at all like if I bought snide boots from market I would have expected it but supposedly a proper company just think twice before u buy from this company I send u another picture of the boots falling apart and my old ones which are a year old and they have held up better than the ones u supplied as for my toes as I said I’m a hgv driver so not like I’m on a site where stuff can fall on m toes and that’s why they just fine if u look behind the dirt u will see inside the boots of the ones supplied nothing wrong brand new just the front soles are coming away and u saying because the leather has split that’s why it’s coming away both boots are coming away from soles and only had a split on the left one so explain why the right one is falling apart after 6 weeks

You ordered on the evening of the 6th August, processed on the 7th August and they arrived on the 14th August, one week - not two:-

The pictures you sent us are for a pair of boots that have been destroyed, with an enormous split in the top, as if something extremely heavy or sharp had been dropped on them. These boots look like they have probably saved your toes from being cut off. I'd have thought a positive review for saving your feet would have been more appropriate. We and DeWalt agree that these boots have either being severely abused or are not the pair we supplied 6 weeks ago. I've attached your image supplied:-

Ordered my items 3 weeks ago no update…

Ordered my items 3 weeks ago no update on the items, after calling I was told they would be hear at the latest, Friday last week. Still not heard anything and still no sign of my items.

Hi Daniel, apologies for the slight delay, we ordered the Tuffstuff items in for your order as we didn't have the size/colours in our warehouse stock and we advise 5-8 working days delivery for this brand if ordered direct from suppliers, your order was on track to be completed ahead of the given timeframe however this delivery from Tuffstuff went to the wrong address and therefore had to be resent to us, your order also had embroidery on there which adds a couple of extra days to the order, we can confirm your order will be with you today which is 10 working days since the order was processed, we apologise for any delays with the order.

I strongly advise not to purchase off this company (Shambles)

I would strongly advise caution when ordering from this company. I received two left boots instead of a proper pair, and from that point onwards the service has been extremely poor.

Rather than dealing with the issue directly, they continually tried to pass the responsibility onto the manufacturer (Solid Gear) instead of accepting accountability as the seller. I had to send the boots back at my own expense to the address shown on their own website, and even after providing proof of postage, they still failed to acknowledge this properly.

It has now been over a month since my purchase, and I am still chasing a refund. The correspondence throughout has been slow, dismissive, and unhelpful, showing little regard for resolving the issue promptly. Instead of owning the mistake, they attempted to blame the manufacturer, leaving me chasing for updates.

Overall, a very disappointing experience — poor communication, lack of responsibility, and unnecessary hassle for what should have been a simple return.
