I had to review to say that the reviews rated 1 star just because people's sensitivities were affected because of the sheer severity of the ads showing the brutal and inhumane treatment of animals is pathetic. The ads are supposed to be shocking and horrible so people will truly see the scale of the suffering these poor animals face on a daily basis. I'm sorry but these animals suffering is more important that you being "a bit upset" by how graphic the images or videos are, you and your children. They need to see what world we live in and maybe they'll grow up with compassion and the messate that animals with whom we share the planet are not here for our entertainment. I thought the 1-star reviews would actually be due to scepticism of the company/organisation, not on their choice of ads. They need to be upsetting to actually emphasise and justify their cause and shouldn't be "toned down" just because you're upset by them. Tough. Wear a helmet or live under a rock.

Wat ik zojuist heb gezien bij omroep Max, m'n maag draait om, m'n hart huilt, ik huil. Hopelijk kunnen jullie je doelen/wensen bereiken. De mensheid is vreselijk. En zojuist doneur geworden. Ik hoop dat de dieren weer veilig de wijde wereld in kunnen. Zet hem op.

WAP houdt zijn donateurs met goede nieuwsbrieven op de hoogte van dieren in nood en resultaten die zijn behaald met professioneel handelen voor een beter leven. persoonlijk heb ik WAP in mijn testament opgenomen, hiervoor kreeg ik een persoonlijke bedankbericht. WAP bestaat uit mensen die leven vanuit sterke ethische waardes. Ik ben heel erg trots op jullie!!!

Terrible advert, dodgy company! How this is allowed on tv I don’t know!!! Disgusting, half hung monkey, animals distressed.

I will tell you what went wrong, seeing as you ask.
I along with my children, cry when we saw the add, is it really necessary to show footage of atrocities happening to sweet animals, especially at Christmas or any time of the year.
Surely there is a better way.

They are doing scam they will ask for donations and than they will tell you you will get certificate of 80g but I got nothing don't know where I am donating my money.

I see reviews here on Trustpilot about this organization and find it strange that bad reviews are given or that WAP is a scam. I have been a member for several years now by literally donating €3 ONCE to help farmed animals and €8/month to help elephants being taken care of and support a sanctuary. I have never been pressed or cheated nor scammed with anything. They do as they say. Their rating on Charitynavigator is 98% and when you research into what percentage of your money goes where, almost 80% goes directly to the cause you signed up for and most of the rest to help fundraise more and gain more exposure, highlighting the suffering of animals. Even back when I was donating only €3, I got a WAP linen bag as a "Thank you" gift. The year after, I got a WAP calendar as a thank you gift. So, I have no idea what these people here are on about and am writing this detailed review so that people don't scare away from this organization and as a result decide not to help animals in desperate need.

I got conned into providing my Card details on Fri 4 April. I was offered the choice of amount to donate which was $1...I thought it rather odd amount but did not question it. I did not feel good about signing up to donate.
On Tues 8 April I had a msg on my answering machine which came from this Organisation. The caller named David thanked me for signing up and that $30.00 will be deducted monthly starting from May. I did not sign up to donate that amount. It was for $1.00 as suggested by the Volunteer manning the booth at the Riverlink Shopping Centre, Ipswich, Qld. It is an unconscionable act of deception on the part of a Charity.

Unlike other reviewers here I have done some research and checked that this charity has a long record of good work in a number of areas. It would be useful to see ratings of their impact, but based on their reputation my estimate is that they’re trustworthy.

Scam organization

This is a review about the review of World animal protection. So when you’re looking up to see whether your money is well spent of your donations instead all we get is reviews about working there. I for one don’t really care about what it’s like to work there I want a review on whether they actually do the right thing with your donations

Joined this 'charity's' weekly lottery. Won a small prize (£5) after a few weeks. I got an email telling me that they have given me 5 entries into the next draw instead of sending me the £5. When I complained that I wasn't given the choice they asked if I wanted to change my 'preferences' for the future. I was never given a choice of preferences to begin with. In my opinion this is a con. Leave well alone !!

heb toen een eenmalige machtiging afgegeven en daar is op een of andere manier een doorlopende machtiging van gemaakt van 12.50 p/jaar is een paar jaar doorgegaan voor ik er achter kwam ben nu bezig om uit te schrijven maar ben bang dat ik lang aan het lijntje moet blijven dit kan niet direkt gebeuren gaat via een persoon die thuis werkt heeft niet alles bij de hand dus weer alles genoteerd dus krijg nu weer post via fb heeft er iemand suggesties om voorgoed uit te schrijven

This organisation is doubtful as I see it and believe and as I remember it have had different names. Such organisations can collect millions and only support 1 or 2 project. The rest of the money can easily goes to the people behind. I suggest you to research and support trusted organisations instead.
