Really good service

Really good service. Cannot fault it at all. They let me know when they were 30 minutes and we even slightly early. Took complete pride in their work when they got here and made sure I had everything I needed before they left. Thank you gents!

Waited in all day for the sofa to be…

Waited in all day for the sofa to be delivered on behalf of DFS, they had pinpointed the wrong location which I had emailed about in the week to be ignored I even provided these 3 words and told them on the phone to be told they couldn’t deliver my sofa to a different postcode ! The postcode is correct but it’s a new build so doesn’t appear on maps. I waited in all day and they refused to deliver it the the instructions I gave as it was at the end of the day and they couldn’t be bothered ! I was even saying I have proof of my address with the postcode they have and they refused. Waste of a day off and ruined my birthday !

Joke of a company

If I could give in the minus I would. Constantly been told that driver will call 30 minutes before the delivery, but decided to show up without communication and called us to get here ASAP. Told him that it would take 10-15 minutes max to get there and he refused to wait. Watched him drive away - absolute muppet. Rang customer service and they were asking me for the driver contact details! The customer service rep was another story, unhelpful and rude. You'd think they own the company rather than working there. IF DFS tells you you furniture is being delivered by these clowns, don't bother. Joke of a company.

Deliveries should be more like this!

Definitely had the opposite experience today to some others here, had a DFS bed and bed-end ottoman delivered today by two lovely chaps, Gaz and John. The delivery date got bumped forward about a month, and although the tracking said they'd be here in the morning, given these guys were given a 3-hour trek up north to make 4+ deliveries and mine was last, that was never going to happen and no fault of theirs.

Called 30 mins ahead and were right on time, really friendly, professional service, in and out in no time with nary so much as a scuff on the bed. Great guidance on the power ottoman bits, really appreciate it.

Hope you get home in good time, someone get these fellas a bonus and a kettle in the van 👍

DFS need to reconsider their delivery options

DFS really need to consider new delivery service.
Received a text to confirm delivery. Replied but because it wasn't within the 2 hours of receiving their text, they took me off the rota but failed to let me know, so took a days holiday waiting for a sofa that didn't turn up. Couldn't contact them until the Monday and was told it would be on the Thursday. Book more time off work. No confirmation received Wednesday, so called them to be told they aren't delivering in my area. Yet again, no communication to let me know and then can't reschedule as they don't know the planned routes! Shocking customer service, call takers couldn't care less and so unhelpful. Absolute disgrace of a delivery company.

Unreliable Delivery and Poor Customer Support

Delivery never arrived despite being told it was on the way. I booked a day off work without pay and waited in all day for the sofa, only to receive an update at 9pm claiming the “residents were not in,” which simply wasn’t true.
There were no updates throughout the day, and because the company isn’t open on weekends, I couldn’t speak to anyone until Monday. I was then told the sofa wouldn’t arrive until Thursday — meaning we’ll have gone an entire week with nothing to sit on.
I now have to take another day off work because they can’t offer an evening delivery. The staff I spoke to on the phone were unhelpful and didn’t seem concerned about the inconvenience caused.
Overall, DFS seriously needs to reconsider their delivery company, especially one that can offer weekend deliveries and reliable communication.

Zero communication, zero customer service and 3 days wasted… Happy New Year 🙄

Missed delivery on 29th December with no phone call, no text, no update, despite tracking showing a truck allocated. I cleared my living room, got rid of my old sofa, and waited until 10pm.

Spent the next two days constantly chasing WS Home Delivery. I was repeatedly promised call-backs that never happened and told “the drivers will call when they’re 30 minutes away” — even when tracking showed I was “next” for over an hour.

Delivery finally arrived on 31st December after multiple excuses and delays. No apology, poor communication, and the delivery team did not properly set up the electrics and they took the instructions with them.

Paid a premium delivery fee for stress, inconvenience, and three wasted days. I would strongly advise retailers and customers to think very carefully before using WS Home Delivery.

Rude no considerations for other road users and members of the public.

I was on my way to pick up some students for work as part of my job and then I see a WS Home Delivery's Lorry in front of us not even moving just in the middle of the road removing goods from someone's house.

They had no considerations of other road users.

There was clearly 2-3 big parking spaces in which they could have parked into and then carried out their duties but no they intentionally decided to be selfish and wouldn't let us move.

They eventually drove away when they finished their jobs.

But this whole time they could have made life easier for others by parking in a big space clearly available in order to let members of the public carry on with their day.

I contacted the company and they said we don't deal with Home Deliveries and instead gave me a number that deals with them within the company.

The number does not even work.

Was worried about the negative reviews

I was so worried after seeing poor reviews on here after ordering my sofa from DFS. When I knew that they had the sofas, I called and delivery was booked there and then. They came on time on the expected day, calling 30 minutes beforehand. Both polite delivery guys who put the sofas together and cleaned up all the mess. They even apologised for bringing foot prints into the house.

Rude

Rude! I was parked at a traffic lights down Newgate Lane, Fareham. I was at the front in my lane, next to me was another van, after the traffic lights the van's lane feeds into mine. I let the van go in front, then it should be me, then it should have been the WSHomeDel.com van (which was behind the previous van). However, they unnecessarily overtook me, dangerously close to the oncoming traffic.
If your drivers don't understand and comply with the highway code I suggest that they don't drive, especially with a van with your company name all over it! The number plate started YX72 if that helps narrow down the driver.
Will never be using or recommending your company.

Still waiting On Sofa whilst receiving zero service

I ordered my DFS Sofa on the 4th December and was told I can expect delivery with 4-6 weeks. I have had to chase DFS Constantly for updates and was told that my sofa was finally going to be delivered today (14th January). I have rang DFS who can't provide any updates as they use a 3rd party WS Home Delivery. I rang them and was met by a very rude agent who was unapologetic and said there have been delays and the goods are now not arriving into the UK until the 26th January! Upon this news I said that's "pathetic" and upon receiving this response the agent said I was being rude and promptly hung up the phone on me. I'm fuming.

ABYSMAL AND UNPROFESSIONAL

Absolutely abysmal company £1300 sofa ordered from DFS and was delivered by these clowns on 29th August or should I say DROPPED off. 2 man team turned up in the afternoon driver was dressed relatively professionally however drivers mate was wearing a red tracksuit and can only be described as a crack addict. Driver barrowed 1st box which was dropped (literally) off the tail lift then outside my front door decided to let it drop off the barrow 2nd box got to my door ok however the third box was rolled over and over to my front door because the red tracksuit guy couldn’t be bothered to take the barrow back to the truck. Furniture was assembled but the backs were left loose I pointed out a manufacturing fault and all I got was “yeah you’ll have to ring DFS init” totally unprofessional and not what I expect when paying £109 for delivery and installation. Cannot get hold of anybody at the company left feedback on form they asked me to fill in but no response. DFS however have been great after supplying them with all the cctv footage and photos they refunded the delivery costs and have escalated it further. If DFS tell you the furniture will be delivered by WSHOMEDEL, tell them not to bother and go elsewhere take it from me this company should be called CIRCUSHOMEDEL after sending me the 2 clowns they did.

Rude and incompetent

Rude and incompetent. They have had my item for 3 weeks now and still haven't delivered it. Staff were very blunt on dismissive on the phone but now won't answer at all, even to the company who is using them as a courier.

So they won't deliver and won't answer the phone. What a failure.

I ordered through DFS on the 9th

I ordered a 2 seater Dylan electric sofa on the 9/8/24
I was told it would be 2 weeks for delivery, I then had a date the 22nd, I haven't heard anything from the delivery company.
I called into DFS and was told I should hear something by the 27th
I have been trying to get through to the delivery company, but I keep getting cut off, I have also sent an email to WS "Specialist" delivery, no reply, now wish that I didn't pay cash, I thought purchasing from DFS would be straight forward, but unfortunately not so. the money has been taken, and I'm waiting!!!!!

I have contacted DFS again, I was told I should hear within 24 to 72 hours, I was told on the 22nd that the furniture was ready for delivery, so why hasn't it been delivered..... 😕

At last I managed to get through to the "delivery" specialist, he told me it was ready for delivery on the 18/08/24 and can't understand why it wasn't delivered!! I will never use DFS again.... Will it ever arrive, customer service..

It would appear this company doesn't care about the reviews, as no comments from them!!!
I contacted WS and I had to ask the lady to repeat to me, she said my sofa was delivered to a different customer, because there were no deliveries in my area, I would have to wait until it was worth delivering, after a lot of shouting at DFS, today 11/09/24 I received a refund, so a month in their bank gaining interest, no compensation for me, I won't use them again, why use a careless inadequate company to damage their reputation, I shall be passing the bad experience on to as many people as possible, disgusting...

PROPERTY DAMAGE

Very poor service (sofa installation), very poor communication (no response for over a month), and very poor customer service.
My partner ordered the sofa from DFS, and unfortunately, it was delivered by this company. The delivery personnel damaged my sofa, did not install it correctly, and damaged my property (flooring). After waiting and chasing DFS for a month, they finally responded to me via email stating the photos provided look like two different floorings and the proof of delivery has been signed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
