AVOID!! Company committed to some care visits for an elderly lady, assessment completed and contract signed. They then pulled out at the last minute via text message (claiming they had tried to call which was completely untrue, they were just too cowardly to actually have a conversation). They left the family with no time to make other arrangements and in a really really difficult position. Management uninterested and didn’t follow up phone calls as promised.

We’ve been incredibly pleased with the care provided by Alina (Winchester/Basingstoke branch) for my grandmother over the last few months, who is on a live-in and twice-daily double-up palliative care package.
The standard of carers has been consistently high, which has given us real peace of mind during what is a difficult time for our family. I’d also like to give special recognition to Teresa, the manager, who is always personable, approachable, and supportive. It makes a huge difference knowing there is such strong leadership behind the team.
Having been a care manager myself, I know what good care looks like, and it’s genuinely reassuring to see my grandmother receiving such a high quality of support. The communication has been excellent throughout, and the family app they use allows us all to stay connected and informed, which is invaluable.
Overall, a truly professional, communicative, and personable service. We’re very grateful for the care and support provided.

I joined Alina home care three months ago. It was a difficult decision to make but I am so glad that I made the change. I work for the Solihull branch. The support from the branch care manager and care co-ordinator had been amazing. I have worked in care for many years and Alina home care has the best training that I have experienced. Malvern branch is a start up branch.
They don’t have many clients and don’t tell you until you’ve started. Not having many clients means you have to travel all over the place to see clients. They do not pay the mileage like they say either. If there’s 45 mins between each client the mileage doesn’t get paid unless you complain. But there is almost always 45 minutes between clients as when I was leaving there were only a handful of clients on their list. Mentally exhausted and concerned for my finances
I had no choice but to leave and find another job. They don’t try to sort the issue and they just keep on getting other workers in and gaslighting them. As one leaves another comes onboard. It’s like a revolving door of highly disappointed staff.
For example a 3/4 hour work day than can span across 12 hours as you have to keep going home and waiting to go to the next client.
The manager seems very distracted or she’s simply rude I couldn’t work her out. There seems to be no thought for the workers lives and what they might need.
1 client every few hours, scattered across Worcestershire. It was draining, especially when realising they weren’t automatically paying the mileage.

Alina in Lancing has provided care for my mother for two and a half years and the company has always been excellent. Alina Bromsgrove have been providing daily Care visits for my wife for several years. The core team of care professionals provides a timely first class service with additional calls readily covered by arrangement during periodic respite breaks. In addition, the local Manager and her team are proactive in the provision of a high quality service. In summary, a 5-star service at all points of contact. Thank you, Alina.

Not worth it. Long hours 7am-10pm. Not paid to drive to clients houses. You are out for 15 hours a day. But only get paid for 5 hours. Impossible to do it full time. Also, you are not paid for your training.

We give this a 5 star rating based on the first few days of care for our father who has Alzheimers and has become very immobile over the last week.
The Supervisor, Baljinder, from the Maidenhead branch and her team have been absolutely amazing.
Baljinder took on our case and immediately arranged cover to start the next day. With various complexities she has gone over and above- liaising and chasing the health authorities on our behalf - releasing us of that pressure.
The carers have turned out to be lovely, caring people to my father and the extended family. Balvinder and her team have immediately put us at ease after what has been a very tough week.
This is our first experience of home care and, given a lot of negative press around this sector, we are so pleased with the choice we have made.

Very disrespectful staff. A absolute waste of time. They don’t like to pay you. They expect three months with no pay as training is unpaid, will completely waste your time. If you want to be overworked and underpaid this is the place.

I recently took a funeral service for a gentleman who had been in the car of Alina care Stevenage. This particular gentleman had no family but ten of the Alina team had taken the time and effort to not only attend the funeral put clearly cared greatly for the gentleman in question.
The manager had written a beautiful and heartfelt eulogy and all I can say is that she and her team really do care! It was just so wonderful for so many of the Alina team to take the time to not only pay their respect but to say goodbye to someone they clearly cared about.
I have no direct experience of the care they give, but my experience of their attitude was incredible. They clearly love what they do and genuinely care about their clients.

Stay clear! This company messes you about! Ignores ur emails! Drops you with no communication I was told I would be going to a client in the 24th of March the week leading up to it I asked several times for there care plan etc to be ignored didn’t even bother telling me for whatever reason I wasn’t starting on that date and when I tried to confront them about it all got no explanation no apology for ignoring me all I got when I questioned if this is how u treat ur staff maybe the job is t for me was we will send you your P45! then a few weeks later had a nerve to ask for the DBS money back!!! Safe to say that won’t be happening!!!

Alina were there for me in a moment of crisis. I am a full time carer to my heavily disabled wife. One morning I fell and put my back out; I was crocked! A call to Alina and they were able to put in place emergency care cover that day for my wife, while I convalesced. Alina Homecare saved the day. I cant thank them enough!
