Pre- booked LGW pick up for return from Kefalonia. Upon landing message stating unable to pick up, cancelled booking 😡 VERY DISAPPOINTING.
DO NOT USE THIS TAXI SERVICE, UNRELIABLE, CAUSES STRESS.

Poor service. If you are going to accept an airport collection and take the details and flight time, have to decency to honour it. Arrived and waited 10mins to get through only to be told you’ll be an hour. What’s the point of pre-booking a service!

If only you could give 0 stars! Should have read the reviews first. They might be slightly cheaper than other taxi services but they either don't turn up or leave you waiting for an hour and a half whilst keep saying 10 more minutes! We pre booked a taxi to collect my family including a pregnant woman from a wedding and they left us waiting outside cold for 1.5hrs and then was rude about the fact we weren't happy! I called the company and they put you on hold and don't pick up again!

Taxi was on time even though it was early in the morning. Driver was friendly and helped with my bags plus it was actually a decent price too unlike many other taxis that were quoting double the price. Thanks!

If I could give negative stars I would!! This so called company needs to be avoided at all costs!! My daughter booked a taxi and cancelled it in plenty of time. Alpha cars still took her money! Although she made many calls to them and provided evidence their controller Babar refused to refund her money for a service that wasn't provided. She was told to take the issue up with the bank. Disgusting service. We will NEVER use this rubbish company again! Complete scammers!!!!

Company has picked my autistic daughter up many times taken her to same address many times
My own fault but it was the first time I didn't ask how much because it had always been £16/17
Yesterday when she arrived at destination he charged her £27 clearly knowing she had a disability I just called to complain first they said we hadn't used them then when I mentioned call logs they've only taken her to bicester train station always get quotes up front her taxi home was £16
Taking advantage out of people with learning difficulty's it was Black Volvo 18 plate

Avoid! Was quoted online £25 then a call by the taxi office and told its £35 or no taxi!!! And they were late.. shocker. Bad customer service and left us stranded with no alternative

Prebooked taxi few days before, didn't turn up. When rang to enquire they said it would be another hour. Hour later still didn't turn up.
Totally unreliable!

Such a lovely friendly service when you call to book a car.
Polite smart dressed drivers and very clean cars.
Would highly recommend.

Pre booked for days. Cancelled by alpha 5 mins before collection time leaving us stranded. Wouldn't come out even after we called then and spoke to them. They couldn't give a toss

Woeful company

Horrendous!! Pre-booked 3 days prior to event, they rang 6 minutes before the booking was due to get us to inform they were cancelling. Appalling service and no apology. Not enough time given to arrange another taxi, will not be using the service again!!

Unreliable and bad customer service, We prepaid for the journey as it was considered ' remote' .The operator did not pass our booking information onto the driver correctly as there were 2 enterances to the property which I explained when making the booking. I also explained I would not have phone service as the signal is so bad so it was imperative that the driver knew where he was going. long and short the driver arrived ( I learnt later, 15min earlier than we had booked him for ) we were outside waiting, no car. I went back inside and called Alpha again, dealt with an exceptionally rude and condescending man , regardless, he said another car would be with us in 6-7 minutes. so back outside I went and once again, no car. When I called back to ask where the taxi was another operator explained the driver had been and gone, they tried to call ( rubbish ) but couldn't get through, well as I had stated originally that would be the case as there was no reception. Anyway, if we wanted another taxi they wanted us to pay AGAIN !! When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told the he didn't work weekends and they could not tell me names of anyone I had spoken to because they were not allowed to - ridiculous !! Shocking operation. Poor show and a waste of money.

My friend came over for his birthday tonight ordered his taxi home for 9:46 and we are still waiting at 10.26 Un flipping believable !!!!

Sometimes great but more often so disorganised

Booked a cab for an early morning pick-up 10 days before the trip. The afternoon before the pick-up I called to confirm that they had the booking on the system, which they confirmed they did have and everything was ok. Late on the evening before the pick-up I was already asleep when I was called by the company cancelling the booking as the vehicle was no longer available.

Unusually I hadn't done my research when picking this company to take me to the airport. Had I looked at the reviews on this site, I would have gone elsewhere.

First time experience. We called up to make a booking and if they meet and greet at the airport but the man took all our details to then tell us they would not accept the booking and rudely hung up. We then booked another company which was fantastic but alpha taxi called us in the morning claiming we not only confirmed their booking we also emailed them to say we made amendments which we did not. We tried to explain as we got a couple of calls that there was a miscommunication. One lady was very understanding and lovely but the man who then called afterwards was refusing to understand the situation and followed with other false information claiming we made. He then said he’d bar both of our number (husband and mine). Im upset due to the last call as the man was persistent, rude and made false accusations.

If I could do less that one star I would do that! I was just about to start nee job today, waiting for a cab, 15 mins I was on phone! And at the end driver hang up on me and cancelled ride!! Thanks for losing a job which could have been good opportunity to get out of my bad mental health state. Is it such a problem to use maps? My address in on google maps, easy as it is!! 1,5 years on the address everyone could have find it. Apologies won’t help me to make money! Train your drivers properly otherwise you’ll lose all customers! Horrible

I would rate it less than one, terrible experience, unprofessional, always coming late, not respecting their customers.

I booked a taxi, they spent 40 minutes texting me to say they were running late. I then got a notification to say the taxi was there. By the time I got outside it had left. It was less than 5 minutes, which is pretty good for getting two children out the door.
