I hired Alpha Pro Removals for a relocation from France to the UK. From the sales rep to the movers, they were terrific. I had a lot of questions which they patiently answered. My move was not straightforward, as there were two drop-off locations in the UK. Everything arrived in the right place, on time and in good condition. They are not inexpensive, but they are well worth the cost.

What should have been a straight forward move (we were moving only 2 miles away) turned into one of the most stressful days of our lives, thanks to the extremely incompetent and unprofessional removal men sent by Alphapro removals.

The workers just didn’t want to do their job and most of what they did do was incomplete or they managed to damage the furniture (drilling a hole into a cot and damaging our dinning table).
They didn’t take the treadmill as they couldn’t dismantle it and just left it along with 5/6 boxes that just needed to put in the van, even though they decided to do a second round taking only a tv and a mirror in a completely empty van.

They didn’t reassemble a wardrobe and a bed properly, telling my husband to be careful with the bed as they hadn’t screwed it in properly.

The company then charged us for an extra 30 minutes and when my husband complained about the workers spending 45mins on the cot and still not being able to reassemble it they waived it off but only to claim it again 2 months later when we chased up our damage claim on the cot.
The company is now refusing to pay the damage claim saying there is outstanding payment!!!!!

This is the second time I’ve used this company and would use them again. They were on time, efficient and helpful. No scratches on the walls and nothing was damaged. The rates are good.

The crew turned up on time and had such a great energy and the kind of can-do attitude that you want to see in such a stressful day. They were quick, efficient but at the same time very careful with our furniture and boxes. I would absolutely use them again.

Communication went really well as Simon from AlphaPro was always reachable and helped with everything around volume estimation and customs / boarder for our delivery from Germany to UK. All goods arrived well and got efficiently picked up as well as delivered. The two man have been handling the goods very gentle. Also price wise really fair by what I compared along the way.

They did a fantastic job of packing every single thing up and wrapped all the valuables perfectly. I would highly suggest this company if moving as this was my best experience in moving!

It was easy to arrange and everything from the beginning to the end was smooth and seamless. My move took place on Sunday and Kristina did a great job to arrange the van and staff in a timely manner. I definitely recommend them. 5 star service!

The move was perfectly done. Professional movers. Did their job well. Truly satisfied. Moving can be stressful, but they helped to reduce the stress.
Had a bed and bench to dismantle and reassemble. Everything was done well.

We used Alpha Pro Removals to move into our new home via a storage unit. Our movers were fantastic and couldn't have made the process easier for us. They were friendly and meticulous, handling everything from furniture to heavy boxes to a TV with care. We had to plan a tricky relocation from UK to Germany during pandemic times and over the festive period. AlphaPro Removals were a true godsend. From the initial contact and video survey with Simon, who was extremely courteous and flexible with our ever changing needs, to the actual move day with the four guys who packed up everything into the two Luton vans carefully and securely, also protecting the wooden staircase railings, and then on the other end everything was super smooth too.
Extra credit is given for them delivering our mattress and a few other things the night before the planned drop-off, so we didn't have to go into a hotel or leave our cat alone in a new house. We had a custom sofa from Nabru which is like a complex puzzle and those guys pieced it together again. I can wholeheartedly recommend AlphaPro Removals for your relocation to Europe. We are eternally grateful for your help with our move.

I recently moved to Amsterdam and opted for the packing service. The team arrived on time and packed everything quickly and carefully (zero breakages).

On arrival in Amsterdam they were bang on time and, once again, very quick and efficient

Throughout the experience all members of the team were very flexible. Management in particular were very honest, understanding my requirements and in some cases telling me I didn’t need to pay for extras they were selling

On cost - I believe they were competitive, given I received 4 other quotes. They were certainly the most responsive and thoughtful with their initial reply, offering a direct quote much faster than competitor

Nothing bad to say here. The guys were on time, incredibly efficient and were respectful of my belongings and home. Super pleased with the service they provided and how easy they made the move for me.

Customer service also excellent prior to move. Given delays with my flat I was having issues with setting a move date and Kristina was really understanding & accommodating throughout.

I had a wonderful experience. In less the n 2 hours all my stuff was moved to my new apartment. The movers were flexible helpful and professional. They have all necessary tools in case things need to be disassembled and they helped me with packing my last items. The price of the service is not low, I have to admit, but I personally think it was worth every pound.

Fantastic experience with Alpha Pro. Initial quote was quite high, but once we discussed over the phone what needed moving, we managed to agree an hourly rate that was excellent value for two men and a big van. The guys were friendly, efficient and careful with my stuff.
My only feedback would be that it would have been good to have received a call from the movers slightly earlier in the day to say roughly when they would be coming, or even an email to acknowledge that someone was definitely still going to come!
But would 100% recommend.

Advice: they charge minimum 3 hours, so be sure you use the time well.
