I've worked with amur (and other lenders) for many yrs. I can say, without doubt, they're A1. Blake is one of the best reps we've ever had, and Justin Wennekamp is BY FAR the best funder we've ever had the pleasure of working with. They're both super responsive, easy to work with, and most importantly know how to hustle through deals. In our field ease of business is everything and they certainly deliver!

Worst loan I ever took. The website sucks you never know what your actual balance. If you request your balance you can only get once a year without paying $40 to see balance. They added insurance to equipment even though I have insurance. I wished I would have borrowed money from the cartel. DO NOT USE Amur FOR ANY LOAN!!!!!! I also think there are a-lot of fake reviews here there is No way there are so many 5 star reviews I’d give a zero rating if possible.

I want to share my experience with Amur Equipment Finance because I believe other truck owners and small business owners should be aware.
Since I financed my trailer/equipment with them in 2022, the equipment has been continuously insured with Progressive. I have proof of insurance, account statements, and documentation showing that coverage has been active from day one through today.
Despite this, Amur is charging me additional insurance-related fees, claiming that there were periods when they did not have valid proof of insurance on file. What concerns me is that they have not provided exact dates, have not clearly explained what document was rejected, or why it was considered unacceptable, yet they still insist on keeping these charges on my account.
My question is simple: if the equipment was insured from the beginning and they had specific insurance requirements, why was I not notified immediately instead of allowing charges to accumulate over time?
As a customer, this feels unfair and lacks transparency. I have requested a full audit of my account and a detailed explanation of every charge.
I am sharing this so that other business owners carefully review their contracts, keep all of their documentation, and pay close attention to any insurance-related charges on their accounts.
