Worst loan I ever took out! Do not use Amur!

Worst loan I ever took. The website sucks you never know what your actual balance. If you request your balance you can only get once a year without paying $40 to see balance. They added insurance to equipment even though I have insurance. I wished I would have borrowed money from the cartel. DO NOT USE Amur FOR ANY LOAN!!!!!! I also think there are a-lot of fake reviews here there is No way there are so many 5 star reviews I’d give a zero rating if possible.

At Amur, we work hard to provide clear communication and professional service throughout the life of every contract. Equipment Protection charges may be applied when compliant insurance coverage is not maintained on financed or leased equipment. Prior to any coverage being placed, notifications are sent and customers are provided time to submit updated insurance information. These requirements and processes are in place to help ensure the equipment remains properly protected throughout the term of the agreement

We would also like to clarify that Amur does not charge customers to request, review, or obtain their account balance information. Balance details can be provided at any time, and there are no limitations on customers contacting us for this information.

We appreciate your feedback and will continue looking for ways to improve the overall experience we provide.

After all the customer support people I have spoke with Andi is by far the best person/ Customer support person I've dealt with so far. She is very kind and listens to your issues and goes above for you. 10 Stars for Andi..

I want to share my experience with Amur…

I want to share my experience with Amur Equipment Finance because I believe other truck owners and small business owners should be aware.
Since I financed my trailer/equipment with them in 2022, the equipment has been continuously insured with Progressive. I have proof of insurance, account statements, and documentation showing that coverage has been active from day one through today.
Despite this, Amur is charging me additional insurance-related fees, claiming that there were periods when they did not have valid proof of insurance on file. What concerns me is that they have not provided exact dates, have not clearly explained what document was rejected, or why it was considered unacceptable, yet they still insist on keeping these charges on my account.
My question is simple: if the equipment was insured from the beginning and they had specific insurance requirements, why was I not notified immediately instead of allowing charges to accumulate over time?
As a customer, this feels unfair and lacks transparency. I have requested a full audit of my account and a detailed explanation of every charge.
I am sharing this so that other business owners carefully review their contracts, keep all of their documentation, and pay close attention to any insurance-related charges on their accounts.

At Amur, maintaining valid insurance coverage on financed equipment is a contractual requirement, and we do make efforts to proactively reach out when proof of insurance is missing, expired, or does not meet the required coverage standards. In some situations, charges can occur not because coverage did not exist, but because we did not receive acceptable documentation.

That said, we understand the importance of transparency and clear communication. We want to ensure you have a full understanding of any charges applied to your account and the reason behind them.

We appreciate you maintaining your insurance records and bringing your concerns forward. Our goal is always to work collaboratively with our customers and provide as much clarity as possible throughout the process.

Jayde was extremely helpful in…

Jayde was extremely helpful in resolving my questions about my automatic bill pay and the email I received. She took the time to look into my account, clearly explained what was going on, and let me know exactly when my next bill is due. That gave me peace of mind knowing I wasn’t missing a payment.

She also explained that since my bill was already paid last month, the email I received was just an automatic notice showing there was no bill due this month, and that billing will resume as normal next month.

I really appreciate her patience, clarity, and willingness to make sure I fully understood everything. Great customer service!
