I called and spoke with Shellie Creutzberg. She was incredibly helpful. Walked me through logging in to the new system and also helped me update some of the account information such as phone number, address and email. She was patients, pleasant and a pleasure to deal with.

Misrepresentation, Unfair Financing Terms, and Refusal to Negotiate
Our company, Better Call Moving Inc., experienced serious issues involving broker Robert Wolverton (Sales Manager), HIL Financial, and Amur Equipment Financing in connection with a commercial truck financing arrangement.
During discussions with Mr. Wolverton, we were pressured to take a higher loan amount than needed, and told that Amur Finance would not work with us unless we accepted those terms. The loan carried an extremely high interest rate. Before signing, Mr. Wolverton verbally assured us several times (in front of witnesses) that the loan could be paid off early without penalties or additional interest.
Relying on these promises, we proceeded. However, after submitting a payoff request, Amur Finance informed us that full repayment required payment of interest for the entire 36‑month term. When we contacted Mr. Wolverton for clarification, he said he would speak with Amur. He later told us that Amur Equipment Financing had intentionally removed the clause allowing early payoff without penalty from the contract, even though they knew in advance we intended to pay off early.
We also learned that the dealership, TruckSmart Isuzu, refused to register our out‑of‑state vehicle unless we financed it, which forced us into this financing arrangement. When we later tried to contact Amur Finance to resolve the issue, they refused to communicate or negotiate, leaving us with no resolution.
We believe this situation constitutes misrepresentation and unfair or deceptive financing practices, which have caused direct financial harm to our business.
We are now seeking assistance from the State Attorney General’s Office to help address this issue and request that Amur Equipment Financing, HIL Financial, and the dealership be held accountable for these deceptive practices.
