My item got send to the wrong depot and…

My item got send to the wrong depot and they managed to lose it along the way, after muliple messages they told me to contact the seller if its insured, the seller is in china and couldn't care less, 80 euro down the drain, awful customer sevice and items can just go missing with no consequences to anyone.

Waited in all day for tv on 2 separate…

Waited in all day for tv on 2 separate days only to get emails stating they tried to deliver. I had to pick up tv from bannow road. I don't have a car which is why I ordered online and had to pay for a taxi

Awful Customer Service

I have attempted to contact customer service via the online form multiple times, regarding parcels that were not delivered. Each time I receive an email from someone at customer service asking for further information. When I respond to this email, I receive a reply saying "It is no longer possible to contact us using this email adress". Why email me with questions from an email address that does not accept replies?

No doubt I will receive a request from An Post for futher information after this review, which I will then be unable to send to them as their email address doesn't accept replies.

If I could give 0 I would. Pay €10+ for next day delivery, you're lucky if you get it in 3 absolute joke!! Not just once this has happened several times. And you can only get support to tell you where your item is, nothing more. Absolute joke of a "service"

Excellent company lovely caring staff…

Excellent company lovely caring staff that deliver even knock on my door to see that I get my delivery never had a problem as so reliable and know when you will get your delivery aanf loads of notice when your package is going to arrive.Lovely post people that deliver very pleasant and caring as I have a disability.

An Post = Consistent Incompetence

Hi everyone,

So I received an automatic notification yesterday, informming me that RL 042984257 IE had been successfully delivered to my daughter in Japan. Thank you for confirming this An Post. 🙂 The only problem is that I posted it, by Registerd Post, in Sept 2025. Yes, that's right, it took An Post NINE MONTHS. They are a national embarrassment and are consistently incompetent. Please, avoid using An Post. If you use them you will experience disappointment & stress. Thanks for reading. John Kennedy.

The service has vastly disemproved since fast way went bust. You have to wait 5 days from the UK then another 4 to 5 days for an post to deliver it 🙄

Lost my Parcel and they don't care

Paid postage on 03rd March to send a birthday present to my sister in law in the States with a couple of cards. She never got it. I raised a claim with An Post which they gave me a claim number for about 4 weeks ago, haven't heard from them since, and they have not even bothered to reply to my email. I used An Post in good faith, given that they are our national postal service but I am now 60 euro out of pocket for the loss of the present and the cost of sending it. Would not recommend and will not be using again.

An post have my parcel which has a incomplete address on it. They are refusing to update the address or return it to sender (it’s been over two weeks now). I spoke to someone called Jen (refused to provide full name) in customer support who offered no help and was condescending. As it stands I can’t get my parcel or my refund.

International item UP361681186CH — still undelivered after more than one month

The item was officially recorded as having entered Ireland on 03/04/2026, confirmed by Irish Revenue (reference 26IEDUB50598CKCAR3).

Despite this official proof, An Post has:
– refused to carry out any internal verification,
– refused any escalation,
– repeatedly redirected me to Swiss Post,
– ignored the customs data clearly showing that the item is already within the Irish postal network.

This has resulted in a ping‑pong situation between postal operators, each pushing the responsibility onto the other, even though the customs confirmation proves that the item has been in Ireland for over a month.

Under the UPU Convention, specifically Articles 17‑01 and 17‑02, the postal operator of the destination country is required to:
– perform an internal delivery check once an item is confirmed as having entered the country,
– treat customs confirmation as evidence of entry into the national postal network,
– investigate non‑delivery when the item is already on national territory.

These obligations are not being respected.

In addition, An Post’s customer service is limited to a chatbot and standardised replies, with no functional e‑mail address, no way to explain the case, no human escalation path, and no consideration of the official documents provided.

After more than a month, no concrete action has been taken to locate the item, despite clear, official and verifiable evidence.

DREADFUL COMPANY!

I have repeatedly asked postman to use the delivery box i have paid for, they continue to post through the letter box and dog gets mail. I sent a query on whatsapp, obviously never answered - an email follow up 45728 resulted in no meaningful resolution. Same behaviour again from postman this morning through letterbox. I would like a refund for my delivery box. DREADFUL COMPANY AVOID
