Attwoolls Camping & Leisure Avis 

Bought a Kampa motorhome awning from them recently. Really shabby experience. Chose Attwoolls mainly because of their helpful videos. Knew what I needed, which included a little advice about useful add-ons. But the experience of ordering by phone was at best patchy. Worse was to follow. No email confirmation, a garbled voicemail message but for Mr Lewis (I'm a Wilson), eventually sorted out after multiple calls. The order arrived on time, but the bracing poles are wrong (Kampa's fault, not theirs), one of the accessories is useless (inner tent), and the attached invoice has multiple errors. Have emailed - no reply, not even an acknowledgment. Now trying to phone, but cannot get through.
So I guess this review is written in frustration, but all the details are true and fair - and it really should not be this difficult.

Clearly very busy but did not effect excellent customer service. Really happy with overall experience and purchase.

Excellent service and they went above and beyond to help resolve a slight issue on the order. Not unpacked the tent yet but will be this weekend with any luck......

Absolutely first class service! Really quick delivery and even better, excellent help with a problem with a product. If you need camping gear trust this company. Far better than the national camping retailer I recently used!

Ordered a tent during lockdown and it was delivered the next working day. The YouTube video review of the tent and especially the video of how to put it up and take it down (with the help of a four legged friend) sold it for us and has really helped us on first use. We would definitely recommend Attwoolls and we would buy from then again for sure.

I ordered a tent in March and was told it would be delivered in April. I had a call to say it had been delivered to the store and they would courier it to me due to the corona virus restrictions, which I wasn't expecting at all. I live approx 150 miles away but they still couriered it to me and I received it the following day. Their staff in the store were extremely knowledgable, helpful and friendly and this exceptional level of service was maintained throughout. I would definitely recommend Attwools as their staff are great as are their customer service and competitive prices. Thank you very much, we look forward to getting out and using it once we are able to!

Great customer service offered for a complete camping novice. A little more advice required in my case, and I couldn’t fault the assistance and guidance I was given. Pocket was also a little lighter with the clothing range they have available. Used off the back of a friends recommendation and will certainly use again.

I’ve been using Attwoolls for years now for any camping or ski equipment that I’ve needed. Most recently I bought a barbecue to enjoy the nice weather. I searched online first to make sure I was getting a good deal and the price from Attwoolls was better than any other I found for the same quality. Mike in particular is so knowledgeable and the friendly approach without being at all ‘salesy’ is such a breath of fresh air in today’s retail sector. Nothing but first class service and an extremely helpful team. Highly recommended, thank you for your advice and assistance over the years. Keep doing a fantastic job!!

Ordered a Kampa Dometic Cross Air XL Awning 2020 and a Kampa Dometic Cross Air Awning Annexe, Staff were very helpful and courteous, Product wasnt in stock when I initially inquired, but they contacted me as soon asthey came in, very fast dispatched once I purchased, and I have to say the whole experience was trouble free and would recommend Attwools 100% and will also be using them again without any hesitation.

We purchased a £500 tent in July this year, whilst using it for the second time we found it had two faults.
We returned the tent only to be told that the manufacturers don't cover the two faults...but leave it with us.
I later challenged this decision but they where adamant the information they supplied was correct.
When I collected the "repaired" tent the member of staff Douglas I think was his name, was very unfriendly.
At no time was I rude or aggressive not even sarcastic.
All I done was purchase a product not fit for purpose.
I have spent a significant amount of my money over Manny years, more in fact than Daug has been alive.
The sad thing is I don't think Attwoolls even care.

Biggest range I found online for inflatable tents - purchased mine from Attwoolls website and got free delivery which is excellent for such a heavy item. No issues, came on time and the tent is fantastic!! I also love their physical store which is worth checking out if you live nearby as it has loads of tents/awnings etc all out for you to see.

I have had a couple of bad experiences with Attwoolls in the past but decided to give them a further chance. I saw on their website a qube porta potty @ £89.95 but noticed they had a price Match, I found the exact same item at Jacksonsleisure.com @ £67.95, I rang Attwoolls as they are local and they said they couldn't match the price or reduce it at all. I agree it is their shop and they can sell for whatever price they want BUT don't pretend you have a Price Match.

I'm lucky enough to live close enough to Attwoolls to have the pleasure of being able to visit them. The shop itself is a fantastic old school camping shop with everything you need inside for first time campers and veterans alike. The staff are friendly and the prices for much of the stock compare very well with internet prices. Highly recommended.

Buying online from Attwoolls.co.uk was a pleasure and when it was realised they did not have the item in stock, they went out of their way to arrange and kept me up dated via phone and email.

Wonderful customer service by Marion and will be using this company again.

There was a minor issue with the item I bought not being in stock, but it was very quickly resolved with a kind, flexible call to offer two choices - cancel or replace with item of another colour in stock. I cannot complain over the services or their customer service.
