Gavin was full of knowledge how to teach me to Train my beagle dog Bella. Gavin also has very good knowledge about pet food and gave advise on which kind of food to feed Bella.Between Gavin and myself we managed to train Bella to her best ability, lead training barking to listen to my commands and obey. I have a good dog now we have long lovely walks without pulling and barking at people.
I would highly recommend Bark Busters If you live in South Yorkshire you would get Gavin as your trainer put everything into practice every day what Gavin teaches you and you will not go wrong.

Kirsty was very knowledgeable and gave some hands on exercises to practise. Our dog has responded well and although not where we want to be, we are heading in the right direction. I'm glad we still have the year for support.

I had this company come to my home and they have been excellent, even down to after care. They are very thorough and have a lot of knowledge. I noticed a massive improvement in my dog after just one session. Instructions and care plan to follow on from the sessions are very clear to understand. Definitely recommend to anyone with dogs, 100% worth every penny!

We had bark busters, for my broken dog, which Lee from bark busters fixed in 20 minutes with one simple word. Yes there expenses but you get what you pay for.
Yes my dog isn't fixed completely in one session it will take many more but what a start im well impressed wouldnt go anywhere else, just perfect can't say anything bad about bark busters perfect.

Wonderful experience with Lynn from Bark Busters, she made a difference in just a few hours she spent with us and I have already seen a massive improvement in my dogs' behaviour after a couple of days. She has armed us with the right tools and techniques to get our dogs to understand the behaviour we want from them and just a few small changes has made such a difference to their behaviour already and I know she is there if I need any help and to check in. Everything she explained made complete sense and helped us understand how our dogs behave as a result of how we act. I can't recommend or thank Lynn enough.

After our first meeting with Lynn I would just like to say how very impressed we are with bark busters. Lynn was very polite and professional in helping us to start to train our puppy correctly and we look forward to working with her in the future

Can't praise tom enough from bark busters . He made every thing so easy . With in the first 2 minutes of he meeting our dog he had them doing things we've been unable to do but he also sat down with us and made every thing clear of how the training would work. He got my 4 year old shocked walking on a lead with out pulling which is something iv always struggled with .my mobility isn't great so you can imagine how happy it made me to be able to walk my dog with out worrying he would pull me over or hurt me. And our other dog is still only 8 months old so teaching him new things but Tom really had both there attention he truly is amazing at what he does. Looking forward to our next training session to see what else we can learn.

After 1 visit, I've noticed the difference in Lola, still got a long way to go but I know we will get there, knowing I have help, feel less stressed 😊

Sydney was a great trainer for Poppy, she helped us realise what we were doing wrong to make Poppy feel Anxious… she gave us the knowledge to walk Poppy with confidence so she could calm her reactivity.. it’s early days but the walks we’ve done have been amazing so far .. poppys doing so well were very happy

Gavin was really informative and it was nice to have a trainer come to the house and not feel judged by our dogs behaviour. We've been contemplating raw diets for our dogs for a while but with Gavin's advice he gave us the confidence that it was the right thing to do for our dogs. Gavin took the time to really drill into the problems we are having and has made us a follow up appointment for 7 weeks time to review where were at with the training. Already were seeing progress, our crazy EBT has been nackered all day from the mental stimulation of training and our pointer we managed to take on a nice walk to the shop with her new harness that was provided to us by Gavin. She was still pulling slightly but the best walk we've had with her in a long, long time and I'm sure with more training everyday it's only going to get better and we're looking forward to showing Gavin our progress we will have hopefully made in 7 weeks time! Bark busters were recommended by my vet as my staffy has a few behaviour issues, Gina was amazing and took me through all the things to correct my dog and in a few days she’s listening and is so much calmer, just amazing

We were struggling with are 12 week old puppy. Fortunately we were sent Lee from Barkbusters. He was very helpful, and gave us a lot of helpful hints and tips, from dealing with bad behaviour to diet and nutrition.

I had a trainer come round to try and help me with my dogs aggression towards others dogs, he spent 2hrs with me and in that time he offered very little in the way of training or advice, there was uncomfortable silence’s during this time and the only time that was broke was when I spoke again to offer further incite into the few issues I was having and what I was doing, hoping for some input or guidance from my trainer, but unfortunately it never came, just trying to get my dog to settle around him and stop barking never happened during this time, he tried giving her treats by throwing them on the floor and that was his only input, we went for a short walk where the trainer got to see how reactive she was when she spotted a dog and still no guidance was incoming, when we returned home he gave me one piece of advice which was to try to close the gap on other dogs whilst treating her before or if she didn’t react . This was the only advice he gave before leaving with his £450 for doing nothing other than to give one piece of advice. I received an email the following day asking me to follow the advice and to try to get her to settle around strangers, the 2nd part of this, he failed to get my dog settled around him and offered no advice on how I should do this, so yes forgive me for feeling let down by somebody who called themselves a professional.

I am quite disappointed in the experience. I met with the behaviourist and she was quite rude and stern. I am not a person that minds stern and straight forward communication but she kept interrupting me and also she did not believe that my dog was afraid of traffic and once the situation escalated worse and worse she was very surprised that the dog is afraid. I feel like you need to give the owner the benefit of the doubt that they are understanding their dog. She did help with me learning to communicate with my dog better, but at the same time she made the underlying issue why I contacted them in the fiest place, worst. Now I am in a place where I have a dog who is absolutely terrified of traffic, much worse than he was ag the beginning.

Anytime I had to call for progress or called with a new problem I got an unpleasant reponse how I am not managing the situation correctly or why did I let that happen in the first place. I understand that the dog is a dog and I am not blaming the dog, I just need help in managing the situation and advice what to do next. Also, there is no need to tell me off, I am a person that understands what is being said to her, so a calm explanation is enough. Life is rarely about perfect situations.

In the end I gave up on calling the behaviorist because she made me feel very bad and anxious about calling her and like I was schoolgirl in second grade being told off by a teacher. She did not really explain the reasoning behind the advice she was giving which is how I learn as well. Now I got a new behaviorist thought a different company who is wonderful and is taking an individual approach to our worries and I finally feel heard. I don't think the 500 pounds was worth it. I feel like having a behaviorist who listens and supports a person is very important as this is a scary and very stressful situation for the owner and it's why they reached out in the first place. I would be devastated to think that maybe people loose trust in behaviourist overall and are left alone with their dog who would benefit from a persons guidance who understands dog behaviour better than the owner who has less understanding of dog behaviour in general.

We have a large 14 month old rescue cockapoo whose behaviour since we got him ( 3 weeks) has been very challenging. We are not experienced dog owners and have been told by a groomer and Dogsitter that our dog is aggressive and possibly “wired incorrectly.’
We contacted Barkbusters and Kirsty agreed to come and help very quickly. It was amazing watching her work and how effective her techniques are. He no longer jumps on the furniture, is much calmer with visitors and after some initial lead training, now pulls far less. I can’t recommend Kirsty highly enough for her calm, professional and very reassuring methods. We are aware that we are at the start of our journey but feel much happier now that Kirsty will be there with us. By the way Kirsty assured us that our dog isn’t aggressive and is wired correctly!!

My trainer is teaching both me and my dogs. She has given me knowledge and guidance and l know she is there if l need her. Only had one lesson so far and working on the plan given but already seeing results .

After just one session with Sydney, our 10 month old cockapoo was already vastly improved in her walking and her excessive barking. Sydney took the time to really get to know us and Minnie, and then gave us some invaluable advice, which completely changed the way we walk Minnie, so walks are now much more relaxing and calming. She has also greatly improved Minnie’s anxiety which has reduced her barking. We are continuing to work with Sydney, who is always responsive to our contact, sends helpful tips and advice through regularly, and we are about to meet with her for our third training session.
