Bark Busters UK Avis 

We have a large 14 month old rescue cockapoo whose behaviour since we got him ( 3 weeks) has been very challenging. We are not experienced dog owners and have been told by a groomer and Dogsitter that our dog is aggressive and possibly “wired incorrectly.’
We contacted Barkbusters and Kirsty agreed to come and help very quickly. It was amazing watching her work and how effective her techniques are. He no longer jumps on the furniture, is much calmer with visitors and after some initial lead training, now pulls far less. I can’t recommend Kirsty highly enough for her calm, professional and very reassuring methods. We are aware that we are at the start of our journey but feel much happier now that Kirsty will be there with us. By the way Kirsty assured us that our dog isn’t aggressive and is wired correctly!!

My trainer is teaching both me and my dogs. She has given me knowledge and guidance and l know she is there if l need her. Only had one lesson so far and working on the plan given but already seeing results .

After just one session with Sydney, our 10 month old cockapoo was already vastly improved in her walking and her excessive barking. Sydney took the time to really get to know us and Minnie, and then gave us some invaluable advice, which completely changed the way we walk Minnie, so walks are now much more relaxing and calming. She has also greatly improved Minnie’s anxiety which has reduced her barking. We are continuing to work with Sydney, who is always responsive to our contact, sends helpful tips and advice through regularly, and we are about to meet with her for our third training session. Absolutely life-changing three hours! Pups no longer bark incessantly. They sit, they wait, they don't rush to the door, or out the door (barking about it!) They come when called, they've remembered their toilet training involves grass, not carpet. My son is stricter about sitting on the sofa than I am. (It's quite funny because they slink off the sofa when he walks in, and sneak back on when he leaves - but don't tell him!) My only regret is that I didn't contact Kirsty and Bark Busters sooner. I'm not easily impressed, but wholehearted recommend Kirsty to anyone with a dog. Based on what she achieved in three hours, she could probably have my pups performing to Crufts Gold Medal standards in a week!

Kirsty is very knowledgeable and lovely I feel we have gained some great advice & tips although I won’t be implementing all of them as they don’t all suit my lifestyle at present but none the less very handy to know & hopefully we can get the best out of him & I will have a lovely companion.

I feel I have help from Tom if I have a problem I can call or leave a message and he gets back to me promptly then training I get has been helpful and if something hasn't worked there is always an alternative

Gavin was very friendly which made the whole process very easy. Luckily, we had started on the right track with our Puppy but there were still items we could improve on. We were left with a list of actions and the instruction given means we are confident in what needs to be done.

We had a great experience with Emma. Our dog Stanley has taken well to all her tips and we’re getting there with our training plan.

The chat we had was very informative. I feel confident that I will be able to carry through the instructions.

I was having problems with my dog Alfie for instance constant barking at visitors coming to the home and making the experience really stressful for everyone, protective over people in the home and barking at anyone that came near, and I didn’t seem to have any control. Sarah came along and talked to me about having a better relationship with Alfie and basically educating me to have control so Alfie can start to respect me and listen to me which he hasn’t been doing previously. After about 3 hours he was a different dog! Even in that short time there was such a difference in him and I know that moving forward the training and consistency is going to make such a difference for Alfie and everyone else. Sarah is so knowledgeable and knows exactly what she is doing and made me feel that actually with persistence Alfie will change. I’m looking forward to our next session with Sarah.

Very approachable and offered great help, tips and ideas.
All my dogs were relaxed and comfortable around him and it was like he'd seen them loads of times before. My rescue seem to be at ease aswell around him.

Tom also showed us things regarding nutrition around our dogs, we have looked into this and have tweeked thier diet and seem 2 be thriving on changes.

There was a lot to take in but it was well paced. Sydney gave us a different perspective on our dog’s behaviour and diet, and took her time to demonstrate effective ways to improve training. Has only been a day but we already feel there’s been an improvement. Recommended!

Gavin was an amiable instructor so really took the time to get to know us and our dog. His guidance enabled us to address our dog’s barking issues almost overnight. It was almost miraculous.

Sarah came out on a walk with us and was very helpful with her training so Daisy could overcome her fear of noise. She has helped with the barking and I would say we were almost there such a relief as any noise in the garden and she would bark. Also we have changed her diet and that has helped also with her anxiety and we know now she is getting the correct nutrition.
