Bella Italia Avis 

Visited Bella Italia in Stratford upon avon with my wife and daughter, the food was very nice however my gripe really is with the sides and extras, we ordered garlic ciabatta and what a rip off there was 1 tiny half of a ciabatta about 5 cmx4cm for £3.59!!! And a bowl of fries which by the admission of the waiter before we even purchased was not enough for one person let alone to share for £3.99!!!!!!!! And yes there were a measly few crappy crisp like fries in it, when I asked for some ketchup and it arrived and I noticed the amount of ketchup I joked you're being a bit optimistic with the fries to ketchup ratio! In summing up I would only ever go there again if there was an offer for mains on and I would never buy anything sides or extra again! Oh I also had a hot chocolate for £2.99 which was extremely small, beware

Our waiter this evening was Hubert at the Basildon branch. Four of us dined in and within I hour 30 three courses were down. A very speedy service indeed.

Bella Italia Nottingham.

Normally find Bella somewhat mediocre, but Nottingham was fantastic. We were served by Kayleigh and Olly who were attentive; very helpful especially when you have young children.
The order was taken and despite being quite busy our starters were quick to come out and so were the mains.
Can't stress how good this restaurant was. Would have given you 6 stars if we could.

We had a Carbonara and a Pizza, it was awful. The pasta sauce came from a bag and was just like the cheap jar ones you can buy in the supermarket. I'd guess there was about half a rasher of chewy bacon distributed in the slop. The Pizza was edible but not impressive. The service was OK though.

Service wasn’t good, we were waiting 25 minutes for our drinks before they brought them, then after we’d ate food we were waiting an additional 30 minutes for deserts even though we ordered desert when ordering food.

Our table was booked for 6pm, and we placed our drinks order at this time.
At 18:02, the starters began to arrive at the table, we had no drinks and two people were still to come. The waitress proceeded to put the food on the table. Regardless of our explanation, people were still to arrive. I quote, "I need to put these down."
Meatballs were cooked instead of Arancini, so half of the table had eaten before the correct starters arrived. More haste, less speed, as they say!
A team member rudely interrogated a party member about why they had ordered the vegan meatballs and then the calzone. This was her preference, a very odd conversation with no explanation for why he was asking.
The main meals arrived. The calzone slipped off the wooden board it was served on. An immediate replacement was given (another party member's meal!); however, we had to wait for another to be cooked. So one member of our party waited 10+ minutes for their calzone.
The food was warm, not hot.
Desserts arrived at least 40 mins after mains. We were told this was because only one person served desserts in the kitchen. It was tiramisu served in a pot (pre-made, so no prep required). The cheesecake was on a plate with some sauce (minimal prep), and the cookie dough was absolutely not cookie dough. It was a hard cookie (served on a saucer) with a dollop of ice cream.
The entire experience was a shambles; this was our Christmas party!
We were not asked if we would like to order more drinks at any point. We were clearly an inconvenience.
I requested the service charge be removed as the experience was so poor, there was no apology, and I wasn't asked why.

I have seen the negative reviews about Bella Italia but I can honestly give 5 stars for the service and food we received at their Huntingdon restaurant.
Firstly the service was timely and the gentleman who served us was very attentive. The vegetable pizza I was served was simply the best that I have had for ages and the tiramisu was delicious.
Next time we go to the cinema, we will be treating the family to another meal there.

Please be careful by eating at Bella Italia. We were visiting the restaurant in London Road, Paddington, and a very low average meal ended up with a service charge of more than 10%!! We had been eating at several restaurants during our 4 days stay and no other restaurant presented us a bill like that. That was our first and last visit.

Good pasta . Good service. Simple and pleasant.

I took my grandson to the Clifton moor one last week . The food was disgusting. Pizza was rock hard and cold , mc and cheese was hard and burnt . The cookie dough desserts were also burnt. Coffee cold . 72 pounds for this

Ate in the Coventry restaurant. Couldn’t fault the food. The service from “Turkish Andrew” was friendly and helpful.

Service was horrible, specific server told us we could have a table yet have no service and use the app (that wouldn’t let several of us order) so some people were finished by the time other just got their food. Other customers getting treated like royalty yet us a group of lads were treated very differently with dirty looks no service, no checking to see we were alright using the app which was obvious been as half of us had no food. On leaving one couple were treated very nicely ‘bye hope you had a great time and we will see you soon’ but we just got a turned nose.

The food is poor , portion sizes are stingey to be frank , pizzas were covered in grease , pasta was like it had just been microwaved .

I wouldn’t be returning advising it to anyone else.

Went in for a quick bite to eat before cinema. Coffee lovely. Buffalo pomodoro varied from stone cold to luke warm. I thought the food would be made fresh not microwaved. No time to wait for a replacement. Luckily it's opposite Poundland so I could get a sandwich.

I love the food here, not the largest of portions but always tasty.
I always try and use a voucher which brings the final bill down a bit.
Service is always good and really friendly staff.
Manager in the Norwich Red Lion Street was really helpful.

I have to say I am appalled by the customer service at the Telford restaurant! It’s not the first time I have tried to get a table and been turned away by the rude staff on the door! I just went in with my husband and 3 little children at 6pm on a Tuesday when the restaurant is empty and the lady with the red hair rudely told me she didn’t have a table because she had a large group coming in! This is the 3rd time they have done this to me and it is ridiculous! The restaurant is empty and they claim they have ‘big groups’ coming in which I believe is a lie because I just looked and I can still book to go in online! So I think they just don’t want to bother serving you! Lazy and extremely rude! And they have done it multiple time’s, what an awful way to run a business!

Just back from Whinfell Centerparcs. Service in Bella Italia was very slow and some of the pasta was cold. We didn't complain because we were already running late for an activity and we did not have any faith that we would get our food back with any haste. We gave ourselves 2hr30 for dinner but were still late. From the outside it looks as if the problem is that multiple tables arrive at the same time. Even our drinks were incredibly slow.
Must say that our waiter was very friendly and apologetic but no comment from the senior member of staff who seemed to be floating about but not engaging with anyone.
Will not be going back.

I purchased a £100.00 Bellaitalia gift card online on February 2nd to give to my son on his birthday I received an email thanking me and saying a gift card would be sent out! Unfortunately I did not receive the card and had completely forgotten I was meant to receive. On my sons birthday I just gave him the confirmation letter and due to covid he was unable to go to London as planned. The voucher was then put in a drawer until last week 28th October when my son went to London with family and attempted to pay with the confirmation email! He was told he had to have a gift card. I've contacted Bellaitalia gift card several times and they apologised and said I could have another gift card or refund I chose a refund but have now been told the gift card had been used so I cannot have a refund!!!

When I go into Bella Italia for meals out, the food is excellent quality and delicious. But I decided to order from Deliveroo today and all the food was incredibly cold, quality was awful and the lasagna looked microwaved? I’m shocked because I paid a lot for bad quality items. I don't think £13 for a microwaved looking lasagna is okay, very unhappy.

The pizza machine was broken so I had to eat god damn squid tentacles which were bland and dry.

Always a fantastic service, really go out of their way to help us. Wouldn’t go anywhere else :)
