Amazing experience with benefits club because of North

I’d like to thank North from your department. She was absolutely amazing. She reached out to me, asked about my plans, listened to me, understood my concerns and issues, would update and respond quickly to me in a great timely manner, and helped me figure it out solutions.

I really believe that she went above and beyond. She’s professionally with such a kind heart, great positive attitude, and her communication skills are outstanding that made me have a first impression experience.

She was absolutely brilliant and I could tell she really enjoys what she does for people.

Thank you to North for kindness, efforts, and understanding :)

Brien O'Brien Is amazing! He was super timely in calling out to renew my policy! With his help he saved me over 1200.00 for my 6 month policy! So very grateful for benefit hub and Brien!

Company is falsely advertising ticket prices

The company I work for offers discounts for their employees.

One of those discounts is Benefithub

Upon logging in I searched for tickets for the Big Apple Circus. Benefithub webpage states Exclusive Savings With your BenefitHub membership, you save money compared to other ticket sites!

I then selected tickets for Thursday Oct 30, 2025 7:00PM

This webpage shows Stand GG Row P tickets member pricing $78/ea with $87/ea crossed out.

So, I was expecting I was receiving $87 tickets for $78 and I placed the order for 2 tickets on 10/18/2025 at approximately 12:05pm.

I received an email from Tickets by BenefitHub with the subject line Ticket Delivery

Upon reviewing the tickets I noticed the cost of the tickets was $29.50 and not the $87.00 I was expecting.

I immediately called the number from the website at 800-350-3585 and spoke to Emma at the Kansas City location. I explained the situation above. Emma said she would have a supervisor call me.

While I waited for the supervisor to call me, I went directly to The Big Apple Circus website for tickets. I selected buy tickets.

I selected tickets for October 30th at 7:00pm, selected "Choose your seat" and saw more than 90% of the event tickets were available for purchase. I also noticed Section GG, Row P, Seats where selling for $29.50 + $7.10 fee

About 30 minutes later a gentleman by the name of Easton called me (ph 913-276-5047) and I explained the situation. Easton was extremely unhelpful and said there was nothing he could do and I was stuck with the tickets. I informed Easton if he wasn't going to charge me $29.50 each for the ticket then cancel the order altogether. Again, Easton refused. I mention he leaves me no other option than to dispute the charge with my credit card company and file a complaint with my employer and BBB. Easton reply was do whatever you want.

Clearly the company is falsely advertising tickets at $87 and delivering $29.50 tickets.

Hi Gary - we're sorry to hear you had a bad experience using our platform. Tickets by BenefitHub (“BenefitHub”) is a reseller of tickets for live events and not the event box office or event venue. BenefitHub offers access to tickets for those live events that are sought after and in high demand.

The secondary ticket market, within which BenefitHub operates, is dictated by supply and demand. Live event ticket inventory availability and prices therefore fluctuate frequently and BenefitHub has no control over such fluctuations. If an event venue – e.g., via Ticketmaster - or the “primary” or primary rights holder – e.g., the promoter, producer or other party that puts on a live event - has inventory, their pricing and seat offerings will dictate. If the primary/venue has no inventory, including a specific section/row combination, that is where consumers can look to BenefitHub for assistance.

BenefitHub informs its customers to check other sites and do some due diligence, in order to ensure that they receive the pricing and/or seat location for a given event that they desire. All of BenefitHub’s ticket sales, including the customer’s ticket sales transaction, are accompanied by a disclaimer that explains the foregoing. Below is that disclaimer.

“*Please note: Tickets by BenefitHub is a trusted resale marketplace for in-demand tickets and is not the primary box office or venue. Ticket prices may be above or below face value. Always check the box office or venue price first and compare to the pricing and availability of Tickets by BenefitHub, including all fees.” 

While BenefitHub does provide refunds for event cancellations, BenefitHub does not compensate customers where they believe after the time of purchase that they could have gotten better prices from the primary/venue.

Having Megan as my benefit hub…

Having Megan as my benefit hub representative is amazingly awesomeperson!. She helped me so very much. She is the best thing since sliced bread. You guys really need to give her a tremendous raise, because she went above and beyond the call of duty. These days people like her is definitely out of the norm. Excellent customer service. If you lose her you've lost your mind.
