This review relates to the delivery process only . The in-store buying process was very good.
Delivery was on time - the issue was with one of the delivery men. His attitude was way below an acceptable standard - surly, unfriendly and a very poor advert for your Company.
He was asked to attach a headboard to the bed being delivered - I had to confirm it had been bought from Bensons before he grudgingly did the minor work. However it was only after they had left that I realised he had put the headboard on upside down !
If he doesn’t want to do this work then he should find something else, maybe not customer-facing. A very poor link in an otherwise good experience.

Excellent service in Basingstoke.
I visited Bensons for beds in Basingstoke to enquire about an odd size hybrid mattress. Although Lucy had none that would be suitable, she trawled the Internet searching for one. The result was she put me in touch with a company in Glasgow, who manufacturer bespoke mattresses to order. Result! Lucy was polite, friendly and extremely efficient, she's one to hold on to for sure. Just in case someone in management is reading this, give Lucy a pay rise and increase your commission payments!

Had an atrocious experience shopping…
Had an atrocious experience shopping here. After expressing that we wanted to be left alone to look over items ( albeit it a bit tersly) the sales person to start screaming and shouting ina unhinged manner leaving me in tears. When we visited Dreams ( where we had a much nicer experience) their staff told us that they had seen several customers who had had a similar experience from who is turns out was the stores manager. It is a bit disturbing that a competitor was able to accurately describe the managers behavior before we had disclosed what had happened. Very much recommend dreams, over Bensons. Would absolutely never purchase from Bensons. I did try to complain via email to the company but heard no response so have had to publish it here instead. ( I will say the female member of staff who greeted us was lovely and likely would have got a sale out of us had we just been left alone to browse)

Delivery was great. Old mattress taken away for recycling and new one unpacked and placed on bed. No mess.

I purchase a mattress slumberland premier support Firm.£999.00
how every it not the same as one tested in shop it so hard its causing me pain and can not sleep on it, The customer service team do not care they just go on about comfort guarantee 40 night which will cost me 10 percent and if i choose a cheap mattress they keep the difference plus i pay for delivery.
Bensons for beds are on the scam or just don't care the shop manager in Basingstoke was excellent and delivery was great shame about product and CS

Knowledgeable and courteous staff
The member of staff was knowledgeable and courteous and provided us with options and prices for the items required. Unfortunately the exact items required cannot be delivered within our time frame but we have chosen an alternative. We have yet to receive delivery so I cannot comment further.
