Sales man was very good, listened to what we wanted, answered our questions and didn’t push us in a direction he thought would have been good. We was shown 4 different mattresses and tried them all

On time regular updates, as promised
They provided a date the mattress would be delivered this was 2 weeks after order. Updates confirmed same date and then provided a two hour time slot with phone call30 mins before. All done exactly as promised and delivery within that timeframe and delivery men were courteous and respectful and placed mattress on bed, taking away packaging. Can’t ask for more.

Excellent customer service
I cannot comment on the delivery service yet, but the in store customer service I received was excellent. The bury st edmunds store had a wide range of mattresses to choose from and I was given plenty of time to explore my options and test the mattresses for comfort without feeling pressured or rushed to make a decision. My expert on the day was gary who was brilliant. He gave me plenty of welcome useful and honest advice and I left the store happy with my choice and delighted with the service I received. Thank you.

Shop put through an incorrect order had…
Shop put through an incorrect order had to go though all again then Cancelled 2 days before delivery order sent to wrong depot then waited and waited 2 months
Had to chase and found that they had failed to reorder with no updates or any contact, if I hadn't chased I would still be waiting today poor service not recommended
Saying this when delivered guy's doing the delivery were. Great

Third purchase from Benson for Beds…
Third purchase from Benson for Beds over the years. Another great experience. Gary at Bury St Edmunds store welcomed us and left us for a few mins. He then went through the pricing and offers. We then chose 2 single beds. Gary entered the details. He gave us a great 2 week approx delivery and we completed the transaction. So easy

Five star apart from the delivery team
Initial order in shop was five star. Very polite and pleasant sales staff who made sensible suggestions to help me with my budget and style. The bed shop next door were rude to us when we were shopping around - so we turned around and came back to Bensons and placed the order there and then!
Following this there was a deluge of 8 texts, 8 emails and eventually 2 phone calls to confirm the order and the delivery slot. No excuse for forgetting!
When delivery team arrived they were not pleasant to deal with however - they did not seem to understand or want to hear the instructions for where to place the bed frame boxes and the mattress and were frankly rude. This let down an otherwise very good experience.
The assembly of the bed done by myself and my young daughter was a doddle with easy to follow instructions and well packaged and clearly labeled components.
The final bed, the Alexis ottoman with a Simply memory pocket mattress, looks very smart and is good value for money.
Overall I would go back to Bensons despite finding the delivery team less than pleasant.

Showroom service and delivery information
It’s difficult to give a full review as the bed is not due for delivery until October.
The actual buying process was very good. We were served by Chloe who seemed very knowledgeable about the products on sale. She took us through the try out procedure to fund the right type of mattress and was very helpful. Once we had decided she explained what would happen next and discussed delivery dates and the procedures for delivery. We were also given a pack with all the relevant information.
We found prices very competitive and had been recommended by a family member who had recently bought two beds from Bensons and was really pleased with them
