Extremely pleased with process from start to finish. Faultless.
Initially went in to shop & spoke with Dave the manager at Chester Sealand branch. He took time to show us different mattresses and offered advice without being pushy or intrusive. He ensured we got the best price available & the best service. Order placement was simple. Communication from Bensons was excellent throughout. Mattress arrived on time & was delivered with care and attention by the delivery guys. They were respectful of our property.
Overall thoroughly impressed and would recommend.

Fantastic experience
Fantastic experience from start to finish. Stephen was incredibly helpful without ever being pushy, which made the whole process easy and enjoyable, especially as first-time mattress buyers.
He gave us space to explore, stepped in with advice at the right moments, and even offered pillows when we joked about falling asleep! We found the perfect mattress and loved the flexible delivery options.
Couldn’t fault Stephen or the service at all ☺️

Store staff very helpful.Delivery went well. Unfortunately after they left, found an unpleasant odour coming from bed. Customer service say to give it 3 weeks to improve. Not impressed considering the cost of the mattress!!!!

I’m sorry, however, that you’ve experienced an unpleasant odour from the new bed — I appreciate how disappointing that must feel, especially after making such an important purchase.
A noticeable smell can occur with new mattresses due to the fresh materials and packaging, and it usually settles as the mattress airs out. This is completely normal, and it should naturally improve over the next couple of weeks.

Excellent customer experience
We visited the Chester showroom to look for a new bed. We had a few prerequisites ie cooling , side sleeping etc . The choice of beds is bewildering in any bed showroom . We were approached by a chap called Dave who turned out to be the branch manager . Been there 17 years so we thought he should know what he’s doing . Straight away with our prerequisites we narrowed the choice down by half. After using a bed machine to scan your body we reduced the options down further . In the end it came down to 3 beds where we ended up purchasing one. Sales process not pushy , more informative. Awaiting for delivery so hoping the bed choice is as good as the purchasing experience

No electric underblanket with Tempur
We have now taken delivery of our Tempur mattress. We were disappointed to discover from reading the instructions for caring for a Tempur mattress (which came with the mattress), that you should NOT use an electric under blanket. It would have been much better to learn this during the sales process, which would have influenced our purchase, never having owned a memory foam mattress previously. Additionally, we had decided to purchase a new electric under blanket prior to delivery, so this was a wasted £125! We then purchased an alternative electric over blanket at a further £125 but don’t like this due to its weight. So, if like us, your preference is an electric blanket for wintertime, do bear this in mind when buying your new mattress. I have written to the Chester Store and awaiting a response.

Amazing Dave
Dave was amazing at helping us choose a mattress for our son who suffers with back problems. Advice was spot on, and we had a good bit of banter too, including hints and tips on how to help stop hubby snoring! 🛌

shop sales manager very effective. Registering guarantee is impossible because "customer number" is apparently on a document sewn into the mattress which is now not reachable since the heavy mattress is made up on the bed. This essential information should have been indicated at the point of delivery.
