I had a very pleasant experience when visiting Benson for Beds, Croydon. I was met by a very cheerful and helpful Alton who showed me the range of adjustable beds and based on his advice I was able to make my purchase. I could have purchased my bed online, however, when making large purchases I prefer to see and touch the item for my peace of mind. Bensons have recently offered a lifetime guarantee on their beds, which other companies are not. This gave me the confidence to make my purchase. I am happy I went into the store and Alton made my visit a very pleasant one.

Alton was fantastic from start to finish, he made purchasing our new mattress and bed so easy with his knowledge, guidance and professionalism.Alton provided a personalised touch which made us feel valued. He started with a test on the mattress machine to determine which firmness would suit, he then had us try a variety of mattresses within the store. His patience, expert knowledge and friendly manner made the difference to our shopping experience that day and I would highly recommend Bensons for Beds. Honestly a great experience from start to finish. Sab at the Croydon store was really helpful, not pushy and very knowledgeable, I've always been the sort of person to not buy from people that try and force something on me so he was the perfect guy to sell me a bed! Delivery was quick and easy as well, will definitely use them again

In store experience was straightforward, plenty of mattresses to try out. I was able to order it quickly. Delivery arrived when they said it would, all went smoothly as you’d expect. New mattress is very comfortable.

The staff at Purley were helpful and friendly. Delivery was on time.

Visited the croydon store, was advised and supported by Alton who was fantastic from start to finish and made the shopping experience really easy and stress free, I had correspondence from Benson's from the moment of purchase, right through to the excellent delivery team and after.

Excellent experience in Croydon store with lovely man who was new to the shop.
Disappointed I had to wait so long for delivery about 8 weeks, however I was kept informed of progress all the time
The delivery was excellent . 2 lovely men carefully delivered, fitted and showed me how best to open & close the ottoman. They even helped me by putting on the mattress cover!
Removed shoes each time they carried in bits of the bed.
Finally it’s a beautiful bed exactly as I ordered & the mattress is gorgeously comfortable - if rather high!

We were assisted by Shravan, he was brilliant. Knowledgeable, helpful, consultative in his approach and one of the best sales experiences we've ever had. We had already found our bed and base at a competitor, but we chose Shravan and as a reslut went with Bensons. We didn't feel sold to, didn't have products forced on us, but directed towards making a decision that was best for us without any pressure. His solution orientated approach was outstanding and we have already placed future orders which he will be facilitating. Give that man a raise! See you soon Shravan and thank you once again!

Excellent Customer Service

I’m happy with my new bed now, there were a few mishaps along the way but overall the customer service on the phone & in the store (Purley way) have been very good. The delivery drivers have been swift, unfortunately the first bed was damaged but the last delivery drivers offered their help and was very polite.

From the showroom to the delivery. I am very impressed and it’s been a great experience. I will honestly say that in a world bad service, you have been refreshing.

Overall, great experience. After 3 years our mattress developed a fault and the Benson’s for bed team promptly helped us by confirming the fault and exchanging our mattress according with their 10 year warranty promise. Very relieved and pleased with the service.
