very poor customer service, they dont know how to address a customer even. As a bank, you should respect the customers. Customers are the base of any company, very rude in speaking. please don't recruit employees who are trying to take revenge from customers. your customer loyalty is destroying by employees like this.
Foreign Pension
I am a foreign pensioner living in Canada. I travelled to Sri Lanka after 4 years to withdraw the pension.I attended the Metropolitan Branch to attend to same. To my surprise I was overwhelmed by the way the staff was helpful. In fact may be due yo my age they gave me a seat and brought everything to the table helped me in all ways to make me comfortable. They even advised me on several issues. Nisansala and another lady whose name I can’t remember were so helpful and also very pleasant in assisting me. Hats off to you both. Their help was very much appreciated. Keep up the good work ladies.
Terrible customer service if you are…
Terrible customer service if you are not at a branch in person ! I wish I could give NO stars. They don't reply to emails for weeks if you are lucky, you have to repeatedly ask them something. If you are not in the country it is even worse. They have locked the online access id and no one responds to emails unless you want to pay huge international call charges and to be put on hold. Their whatsapp number is totally useless as they don't respond to any messages or answer any calls either. Need to find a reliable and accountable bank and move everything as it has been far too long with these issues.

Staff is not friendly and very poor customer service.. I did a payment online and money has not been deposited to particular place but deducted from my account.. I informed parent branch ( mulleriyawa branch)
and they told to take the letter by hand.. I told them that I cannot do it because my job location is in Jaffna and can't come out.. they did not refund yet . How can they play with our money like that.??? When informed customer care they said Aran email would be enough . But it will take nearly 45 days... So desperate about their pathetic service.. still I'm wondering when will I get my money... Every one has financial barriers .. I'm fighting for my own money..

As we walked in very demanding security officer was asking why we are there for. We were not even given a place to sit. As there was no waiting area. But there were chairs kept near the managers room. But we were told to sit near the security and there was only 1 chair for 4 people.
